DC Universe: Supreme Villain

Prologue Pain. That is the only thing that Vincent remembered before darkness filled his vision. He glanced around at the room that he now stood in. There was a desk and a man dressed in all black with a cheshire smile. “Welcome to Purgatory. I am your guide to the Afterlife; you may refer to me as Grimm.” Grimm said smiling weirdly. ‘The fuck?’ The last thing he remembered was falling asleep after a gaming session. He had been in a tournament in a new game called Apex. You created a character from various races and one innate ability chosen at random. He never passed level 100, so he did not get a chance to unlock his inheritance from the Pantheon he served. “Those above would like to extend their apologies for their mistake. You see your death was related to the recent change in rule of the Heavens.” Grimm said nonchalantly. Hearing this Vincent shivered. The thought of his existence being out of his controlled scared him. Grimm watched his change in expression and cleared his throat before standing. “Fear not due to your death being premature we will be giving you another shot at life. Unfortunately, this means we cannot return your soul to your previous body due to the rules dictated by the new reining Hegemon. So, we will be sending you to a random world with a blessing from the God of Reincarnation.” Vincent smiled at the thought of living in a whole new world. He imagined himself doing as he pleased. A giant wheel appeared shocking him from his dreams. Grimm approached the wheel and with an unceasing smile pulled the handle attached to it. The wheel made a clicking sound as it turned. After what felt like ages it stopped revealing a name that shook Vincent to the core. “Oh my, it seems as though you will have quite the adventure.” Grimm said and laughed as Vincent did a dance. Where was once a blank spot now clearly read: DC Universe.

Chapter 1.3: Patience is Key

***Somewhere in Gotham***

A figure sat in a chair in a dimly lit room. His short blonde hair combed neatly to the back. Roman Sionis was a renowned cosmetic millionaire in Gotham. What normal people don't know is that he also went by the name of Black Mask.

Roman slowly drank his glass of vodka he had been nursing for the last twenty minutes. A group of men entered the room and stood across from him waiting patiently until he was finished.

"It seems like this city has another player. Keep a watch on the Sirens and report to me of their actions." Roman said refilling his glass.

The men nodded and quickly walked out leaving a frowning Roman staring at the ceiling.

"Damn, my plan to control east Gotham will have to wait until this situation is resolved." He said and turned up his glass.

***Sirens Club***

Vincent sat across from the three shocked women as Rose filled his glass of champagne.

Harley was the first one to recover and immediately drank from a vodka bottle she pulled from the bar. The other girls followed her example and grabbed one as well.

"So you're a meta that has mind control or something?" Harley said after a few gulps. Vincent chuckled at her antics but sat forward with his hand under his chin.

"Or something," Vincent said smiling, "The nature of my abilities are very special and I have no desire to speak of them with anyone with a loose tongue such as you love."

*Bang*

Harley slammed the bottle of vodka shattering it on the table. She raised her hand revealing a shard of glass in her grasp waving it at Vincent.

"Hey you, I'll show you a loose tongue when I remove it from your mouth." She said earning a sigh from Ivy and Selena. Rose gripped her sword tightly but stepped back when Vincent waved his hand at her.

The women didn't miss this action and finally got curious.

"So what is she your slave or something?" Selena asked looking at Vincent in disgust only to be irritated by his smiling appearance.

"Or something," Vincent said once again but before the women could vocally express their anger he spoke again. "My goal is to create an organization that can help me achieve my goals. I will require people of a certain caliber and she fits the bill."

Growing even more curious Harley calmed down.

"What goals? Are you planning on taking over Gotham? Hey asshole Gotham is mine, get your own city." Harley said waving her fist.

"Silly girl, my goal is much bigger than a simple city and its filthy people." Vincent said raising his glass to his lips. "Think on a global scale."

Letting what he said sink into the women's brains he finished his drink and Rose proceeded to fill it again. Vincent looked at Ivy drawing her from her thoughts. She was startled by the intensity of his black and red eyes.

"I would like to extend an invitation to you Ms Pamela Isley," He said as he smiled.

The group of women looked between each other before laughing, Harley even started banging on the table. Vincent only sipped from his glass unbothered by the reaction he received. He expected this from the moment he asked. Harley was a given and Selena was never even considered in his plan, Ivy recovered first and drank from a bottle a vine brought over from the bar.

"I'll pass on it, I have no desire to work with people with egos as big as yours." Ivy said. Vincent smiled in response and stood. The women stiffened and prepared to defend themselves.

"Relax, we're through here. I have no desire to make uneccessary enemies out of you three, Consider my offer and call me if you change your mind...Oh silly me I still have to get a phone." Vincent said chuckling to himself. Rose removed a phone from her pocket and a card. She sat the card on the table and passed the phone over to Vincent who nodded in response.

After glancing one last time at the women Vincent and Rose left leaving the Sirens with there thoughts.

***Watchtower***

In space just out of the Earth's gravitational pull was a giant base in the shape of a satellite. This was Watchtower or better known as the Justice League's base of operation. Inside a certain room a group of people sat conversing around a table with a hologram of planet Earth in between them. These people were known world wide as the Earth's mightiest heroes.

Batman. Superman. Wonder-woman. Hawk-girl. Hawk-man. Green Lantern. Aqua-man, Flash and Martian Man-hunter and Zatanna.

Each a force to be reckoned with and their own individual views of justice. Batman gloomy aura filled the room as he glared at the hologram.

"How can such a spike in energy just disappear like that and leave no trace. Zatanna?" Batman growled. Zatanna the experienced magician frowned.

"It seems like someone went through great lengths to hide their movements. This surge of power was greater than any I've ever felt before." she said and glanced over to the side. a runic sign appeared and a man in gold and blue armor walked out of nowhere.

Doctor Fate one of the Lords of Order and nigh immortal being that would go to the extreme to destroy evil.

"It's just as Zatanna says, the power is overwhelming and the other Lords are on edge. Extreme caution was advised." Dr Fate said glancing around the room. His words only ignited the gloomy atmosphere. Wonder Woman raised her hand and looked at the others.

"I suggest we stay in pairs until the source of this is found. We need to monitor all missions for the little ones more carefully as well they've been doing well but nothing goes as planned these days."

The others nodded and agreed with her but Batman scoffed before nodding as well although apprehension was clearly seen in his eyes.

"This meeting is adjourned until further notice. Stay within radio contact at all times and no going at it alone." Batman said and stood and left the room. Everyone looked at each other and shook their heads.

"I'm pretty sure that last part was directed at himself right," Flash spoke smiling, "the man is confusing sometimes."

Everyone laughed and slowly left as well. The only two that stayed was Dr Fate and Zatanna. Zatanna looked at Dr Fate with indescribable emotions.

"You feel it to don't you?" She said and the man nodded slowly.

"Yes, change is near but I am unsure of what is ahead anymore. We can only watch at this point." He responded and walked back through the runic gateway again leaving Zatanna to her thoughts.
