A strong smell of sulfur was felt in the sky as the once blue and beautiful sky turned red. In the sky, thousands of portals, many more than in Steppenwolf's previous invasion, were seen in the sky as winged demons came out of them and attacked every living thing they visualized on earth.

The people tried to defend themselves with the little they had, but the demons were too many and little by little the number of fresh corpses left from such attacks increased, while the blood watered and stained the place red. The only word to describe such an event would be a 'massacre'.

On top of a building two people were looking at the largest portal in the sky. A dark red portal that was opening wider and wider and that, if it opened completely, only meant that the Earth was doomed.

One of the people in the building was a blue flaming skull. He had a chain attached to his torso and his biker clothes, with spikes on his shoulders, made him look downright menacing.

Next to him, contrasting the image of the man, was a woman who could only be described as the definition of 'beauty' itself. Her attire was special, for she wore golden armor with eagle wings. This armor only highlighted her beauty and her royal bearing.

That's right. They were Edgar and Diana.

However, at this moment, the one who was confused by this whole situation was Diana, who was looking confused at everything that was going on.

'This dream, again' she thought. She remembered that she had have a similar dream, but before she felt that she was a spectator, unable to change anything about the dream. But now she felt like she was living it, like she was really there.

The image of all those people being killed by those demonic creatures frankly disgusted her, and the pressure exerted by that giant portal made her solemn. Whoever was behind that portal could only mean bad news.

She couldn't understand anything. But by her side, there was Edgar and that was all she needed right now. She believed that together they could get out of any situation.

However, her optimistic thoughts were shattered when Edgar spoke.

"It's time for me to go, Diana"

These words brought much despair to Diana.

"What... NO. You can't. I... I don't know what to do"

Edgar, sensing her unruly feelings, took her hands in his skeletal hands and said as sensibly and lovingly as possible.

"Listen, you are the savior of the world. You have the power to save everyone, but I...I don't have that destiny. My destiny was always to fight Trigon, and it's time for me to fulfill it"

"Edgar, please, I don't understand anything, but I'm sure that going alone will only bring death to you. Let me go with you"

"No, Diana. I am the only one capable of stopping Trigon from coming and destroying everything we know and love. Besides, you have the task of saving our daughter. She is waiting for you"

'Our daughter... I have a daughter?' thought Diana. This brought joy to her heart. However, that joy ended when Edgar let go of her hands and got on his motorcycle.

"I love you, Diana. Don't you ever forget that" saying that, Edgar got on his motorcycle and set off towards the giant portal that was in the sky. Diana, because of her distraction, couldn't stop him from leaving.

"No, please don't go, Edgar, don't leave me!"

----------

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Don't leave me!"

Diana woke up totally elated and sweating profusely. Her heart was beating a thousand per hour, as her mind recalled that vivid scene where Edgar departed and left her alone.

However, her fright was greater when next to him, she no longer felt the characteristic lump of her beloved, which she felt every night when they slept.

"It wasn't a dream. Edgar was gone... Edgar went against that monster. I lost him…"

Tears threatened to spill from Diana's eyes, as more and more thoughts of loss came to her mind. However, a strong hug interrupted all those thoughts, bringing with it a feeling of warmth and telling our beloved Amazon that all would be well. It was Edgar who had arrived and hugged Diana tightly.

"Shu, shu, take it easy. I just went for water. But, I'm here now. I'm not leaving anywhere"

The truth was that this wasn't the first time this had happened. Ever since they fought Mordru, Shazam, Superman, and Diana, had these relapses in their sleep.

The worst of all was Billy, who had to be hospitalized and watched so he wouldn't hurt himself. His trauma was so great that they didn't know how to help the boy. Even Zatara intervened to put him to sleep with a spell so he wouldn't have dreams. Frankly, they were all in a bad way.

Diana would wake up with dreams that she had killed Edgar. Sometimes when it had already happened, and sometimes when it was about to happen. Either way, it was a total nightmare. But, that she understood. It was a simple dream, nothing more. But this... this felt so real.

She now wondered if it was a simple dream, or perhaps something more, like a vision of the future.

She had been taught that there were people who could have certain visions of the future, called oracles. Even, on the island, one of her sisters had the gift of the future. But that was because she had been blessed by Apollo. However, it had never happened to her. Not until now.

Diana was melting in the arms of her beloved. Slowly her breathing returned to normal, as her mind stopped having thoughts of loss.

"Another bad dream?" asked Edgar, as he rubbed Diana's back to calm her down.

"Yes, but...this one was different. This one felt more real"

"Do you want to talk about it?"

..

..

..

"No. Not right now. But now, my sleep is gone and I don't think I can go back to sleep"

"I think I know what we can do to solve that problem" Edgar said as he smiled impishly. Diana also smiled when she knew what Edgar was referring to.

"Let's see the solution, oh my noble knight"

----------

START OF THE SCENE

Edgar approached Diana and began to kiss her. Fleshy lips with thin, soft lips came together as they both tried to show their love. Each kiss brought a tenderness and affection, demonstrating the feelings they felt for each other.

Gradually, however, the kiss began to intensify. The rhythm increased and so did the saliva as their tongues began to synchronize in a coordinated and beautiful dance. Both wanted to show their dominance, but neither was giving quarter.

"You're still sore. Today let me take control" Diana said, as she started kissing Edgar all over his naked torso. After that big fight where Edgar was badly hurt, he was already starting to feel better, however, his body was still very sore. Diana didn't want him to get hurt because of their recklessness, so she started to do all the work.

Her full lips began to worship the muscular body of her beloved. Kisses on Edgar's neck and naked torso were left by the Amazon, as she went lower and lower.

Diana also removed her upper garments, revealing her beautiful white breasts and firm nipples. When she reached the pants that covered his manhood, she no longer hesitated, and with all her strength, she ripped the pants Edgar was sleeping in, revealing his big rod, which was already firm and ready for the fight.

"Mmmm, I see someone is anxious to see me"

Diana took the large wand, and although her hands were still not enough to take it completely, this one positioned it right on her lips.

Smelling the strong musky scent that completely intoxicated her, she began to run her tongue all over the rod. Her tongue began to savor the sweet taste of her beloved with which she was addicted.

She began to savor every nook and cranny, like an animal marking its territory. She could feel the veins throbbing as she traveled along the base until she reached the large head where a little liquid was beginning to seep out from the pleasure felt. Diana was making the gentlest, yet agile movements with her tongue, causing Edgar to start moaning slightly from the great pleasure he was feeling.

Then, in a quick movement, which surprised Edgar, and made him let out a louder moan, Diana took the piece of meat into her mouth. However, she had to pull back when halfway in, she felt the large piece of meat threaten to choke her. However, like any fight, this was an obstacle she had to overcome.

She persisted, and was finally able to swallow it whole. Tears ran down her eyes, as she felt the lack of air, but that too made her start to get wet. There was a strange pleasure in feeling her beloved's dominance over her, even when he was not the one performing.

"Diana, I want to make you feel good too" Edgar said as he tried to turn his beloved around so that they were in the famous 69 position.

Diana began to pick up the pace as her gag reflex was lost each time she tried to push that piece of meat in faster and faster.

Gagging could be heard each time Diana pushed that big rod in, as her saliva coated the piece of meat she was trying to lubricate to give her mouth and throat more accessibility.

Edgar did not stand idle and removed her panties, revealing Diana's already wet cave. He began to use his tongue and fingers skillfully to make Diana feel all the pleasure he wanted to give her. His task was successful as Diana let out a loud moan as she felt a strong mini orgasm when Edgar began to touch her most sensitive spots.

"AHHH, Edgar, I can't take it anymore!"

Diana turned and positioned the big rod right in her cave. In one swift movement they connected, making them one. Diana began to ride Edgar moving her hips in a quick but marked rhythm. Edgar grabbed Diana's juicy ass and with his hands began to squeeze and knead it as he set the rhythm with her.

"ahhh, Edgar, I'm close"

"Me too, ahh"

They both upped the pace when they felt they could take no more. In a loud moan, they both released a torrential shower of their fluids, making a mess on the bed sheets.

However, when they felt that this was it, at that, they felt that the bed break on a "CRAG!", which made them both laugh.

"Hahaha, I could already hear it threatening to break when we started doing it"

"Hahaha, it lasted longer than I thought... second round?"

"Second round"

With that, a night full of passion and moaning began, where both of them would not sleep until they exhausted every animal feeling they had.

END OF THE SCENE

---------

National City, Edgar's home, 2 weeks after fight with The Light

"Reporting from the Daily Planet News, this is Lois Lane. After the events of a few months ago, it gives me great pleasure to once again address you in front of the cameras, bringing you the most relevant and CERTAIN news in the world.

As you can see, a little over a week since the defeat of the criminal group The Light at the hands of the Justice League, which paralyzed the world with its dominance, riots still continue in most of the world's cities. Many countries have placed respected past rulers or generals as interim regents in their respective places. But the damage is already done. People no longer trust their politicians, or their security system.

Debate even continues on social media as to whether the 'super' society, as all these metahumans are known, should go back to the way it was or be regulated now that most of the secret identities have been revealed. In this reporter's opinion, it is not known what will happen in the future, but the world will never be the same again.

However, one thing is clear. The heroes should be thanked for everything they did to free us from the clutches of The Light. After all, they also sacrificed things in doing so"

These words were heard on the television in Edgar's house. However, Edgar was only paying attention out of his hearing because he was currently doing something else more important. Edgar was preparing breakfast.

His hands moving with unparalleled speed and precision as he put in the necessary ingredients to have a perfect homelet ready for his beloved. Despite his blindness he moved with the grace of an expert cook. However, his actions were interrupted when Diana's arms wrapped around his torso. Smiling, he turned to kiss her, and said to her.

"Good morning, love"

"Good morning, sweetheart. It smells delicious" Diana said, as she looked at the beautiful homelet prepared by Edgar. Frankly, it looked delicious. Better than any restaurant Diana had ever tried.

"All the best to you. Set the table, it will be ready soon"

"Okay"

Diana set about putting the plates and glasses on the table. When he finished cooking, Edgar put the food on the plates and they began to eat.

"Yesterday was great"

"Mmm, you're right. But now we need to buy a new bed. A sturdier one preferably, hahaha"

They both laughed remembering what they did yesterday. It was an amazing night, and one they would have to repeat again. Though the good mood died when Diana remembered why it had happened in the first place. Recalling the vision, Diana spoke.

"Edgar... I'm afraid of the future. I think yesterday, it was a vision"

"Why do you say that. I understand it wasn't the same dream as the other times, but why do you think it was the future?" Edgar was talking about the dreams Diana regularly had. He was very curious about why she thought it was a vision.

"Because in the dream/vision, you mentioned Trigon"

..

..

..

"Explain your dream to me, please" Edgar asked as seriously as possible. If Trigon was involved, then it was something he could not easily ignore.

Diana related her dream in detail. From the smell of sulfur to the demons coming out in the sky. Every detail she saw with her heightened senses she didn't miss. Edgar listened attentively. Every word Diana said made him frown more and more. He didn't like what he was hearing at all. When Diana finished her story, Edgar sighed heavily and said

"Sigh, it looks like it's actually the future. We need to check with Inza... since Kent is gone. And I'll check with Zarathos to see if he knows anything. You should even tell your mother, maybe she can advise you. But don't worry, if we've learned anything from Kent or the future it's that nothing is set in stone, and that anything can change our future. Don't worry, we'll figure it out… together"

"Yes, You're right... but there's something you said that's still hanging around in my head"

"What thing?"

"About our daughter..."

..

..

..

"I see..." Edgar said very seriously. However, at that, he smiled mischievously and said "With the times we did it yesterday, I'd be surprised if we didn't have kids by next year, hahaha"

Diana turned red with embarrassment. Pinching Edgar's arm lightly she said.

"You're a fool, you know that?"

"That's how you love me"

"That's how I love you"

With that, the conversation moved on to other quieter topics. The future was uncertain, but right now, they would enjoy their happy moment together.

---------

"Diana, are you ready?"

"Five minutes... wait"

"We're already late"

"Wait... I'm almost there"

In the living room, an impatient Edgar, dressed in an elegant black suit, was waiting for Diana. They were running late at this point. Good thing they didn't have to stop for Raven anymore since Inza would be taking her to the place. She was taking care of her while Edgar recovered.

Almost two weeks after the events of the fight with The Light, the world was still a mess. The riots continued, while the governments were trying to find a solution to what the future would bring.

Two weeks later, The League, in help with the Outsiders had not stopped and had tried to solve every armed conflict that arose in the world.

Not only that, but with the information gathered from Cyborg's hacking of the entire system left by Thinker, they pulled a list of all the politicians, businessmen and influential people who had helped or associated with The Light. Many people were placed under arrest for this, pending trial. However, until the corrupt judicial system was resolved, these events could not proceed.

However, not all were arrested. Some, because of their great influence, fled and hid like the cockroaches they were. The League was looking for them, but there were too many and many of them had a lot of influence in the world. It would be difficult to catch them all, even with the help of the world's governments and armies.

In any case, the world was tired of being a victim of this corruption. They were fed up and were protesting for a change in government. Every major city had people protesting daily to get their situation resolved. Just asking for one simple thing. Transparency. Transparency from now on in everything that was decided for them.

However, contrary to that, governments still had doubts about how they would be managed in the future. Monetary systems had changed. Alliances had brought greater progress in the world, and greater power to countries. They did not want such a radical change. Many were even happy with the way things were at the moment.

An example would be the Nordic and Eastern European countries, who still wanted to remain in an alliance. Even though it was done to generate a research zone, it could not be denied that this zone had become much more powerful than it was before. Exchange of resources and mutual military and civilian support. All this and more made them unwilling to change.

Another thing they didn't know how to solve for the coming future was metahumans. Already the world knew the identities of many superheroes. They were practically celebrities now. A regulation had to be made. But the problema to solve was how to make it.

The UN was corrupt. Governments were still not being cleaned up. Who would control the heroes now. Who would tell them when enough was enough or when to stop.

People lived in fear that another group like The Light would rise again and want to take over the world. Even with the Justice League, even though people were thankful that they were the ones who stood up to this situation, they still wondered if they too could become corrupted and become like The Light.

People lived in fear of that. And it only made them wonder….

Does the world really need a group of superheroes?

However, Someone who wasn't at all concerned about this, was Edgar. He didn't care what happened to the heroes. Sure, he cared about what the future held, but he wouldn't get involved in that. As long as they didn't affect him directly, everything would be fine with him.

He worried about other things. Like, for example, his lack of power. After being in both magical and physical treatment for 5 days, finally his Rider energy returned to him and began to heal his body automatically.

The internal bleeding and broken bones he had been having were magically healing at a rate surprising to Helen and even Inza. Edgar after a week was as good as new. Well, not like new, as it still hurt like hell to move and make sudden movements, but that was slowly being taken away the more energy was getting to him.

However, that was the only thing he could do at the moment, as his energy was so limited that he couldn't even partially transform. As a Rider he could not summon his power. Even when he tried to go to his mental palace, he was blocked by a barrier that prevented him from doing so. This was so that his energy would not be wasted and he could heal himself.

In short, at this point, Edgar was only an above average man in physical terms. (AN: as he is recovering, his strength and speed have not yet increased as before. His body is slowly improving, but his skills can only be considered above average at this point)

And that worried him quite a bit. For the feeling of urgency he had always had since they had fought The Light had not disappeared. On the contrary, since he had awakened, that feeling had intensified. More so when Inza herself had confirmed that the situation was not over.

Those thoughts were interrupted when Diana came out ready and dressed. She wore a black dress tight to her body, accompanied by a shawl to cover herself from the wind. Her makeup was ideal, with a red lipstick accompanying her beautiful lips. She, at this moment, looked so beautiful.

"You look beautiful"

"Ha, you always say that, and you can't see me" Diana said with a teasing smile. However, Edgar instead of feeling bad, smiled mischievously.

"In my mind you always do" he said as he moved closer to Diana. Running his hands over to feel that beautiful dress, he could feel every fine seam and fiber tight to Diana's sculpted body. "See, I wasn't wrong. You feel perfect"

"Mmm, I think you've learned the art of flattery, sir"

"Do you mind?"

"Not at all, in fact, I could listen more... but I'll do that later. It's time to go" Diana said, as she passed the black glasses and white cane to Edgar. Edgar took it and they headed for the cab that was waiting for them.

"Okay, let's go" offering him her arm, they both left the place. Unfortunately the place they were going to, was anything but happy.

Because a funeral was waiting for them....

--------

Ukraine, military siege near Chernobyl

In the cities near Chernobyl, a strong military siege was encircling the city which, thanks to the explosion, now had large radioactive readings. Thanks to the barriers erected by Cyborg, the explosion did not spread to nearby cities in the area.

But even so, the government, or well, what was left of it, had sent its best soldiers to hold a siege and prevent reckless people from entering the area. The government was still debating how they were going to handle things next, but for General Kovalenko, that was of no interest to him.

He was an award-winning general who had retired a couple of years ago. However, he had returned to bring order to the military power of his beloved country. He didn't care if the alliance continued or if they were going to change the entire executive or judicial system. He only cared that his country remained strong. And for that reason, he had set himself up as the leader of this mission.

However, the weeks had passed, and the radioactive readings were not abating one bit. Other than that, however, nothing more important had happened. Not until a beeping sound alerted the entire military base.

"Pip, pip, pip, pip, pip"

"What's that?" asked the General.

"An unusual reading, sir. An unusual heat reading is detected in the area. Something is approaching at a steady pace"

"Something?"

"The reading appears to be human, sir"

"I see. Corporal, I want you to gear up and get everything ready. Weapons, tanks, everything we've got"

"Sir, you don't think it's overkill, maybe it's a false reading?"

"No, I don't think it's overkill. Look, Corporal. Recently an explosion equal or more powerful than the previous one measured in the Chernobyl disaster was stirred up. Also, from the records we know, this area was an experimental area for god knows what things. If something survived that explosion and is now coming here, then we need EVERYTHING we have in our power to prevent it from going any further. This mission went from one of containment to one of war"

The soldiers no longer hesitated. They quickly prepared themselves, and put everything they had at their disposal, which, even if it did not compare to the weaponry that The Light had, was still very powerful, and prepared for what was coming.

The reading indicated that in less than an hour it would arrive at that place. They hoped it was a false reading, but, their hopes died when in the distance they saw what was coming towards them.

The soldiers and the general did not know how to describe what was coming. It was a 'Man?', if it could be described as one. Its skin was grayish, and there was not a hint of hair on its skin. However, the odd thing was that it looked too weak. The thing was so thin that its bones were easily visible. It looked like even the slightest air could knock it over.

The sight was even funny to look at, as it looked like an anorexic zombie.

However, What was terrifying, were his eyes. Those blood-colored eyes that General Kovalenko found terrifying, as they did not denote any emotion. No sadness. No anger. No emotion. He looked like a living dead.

When he was about 100 meters away, the General moved.

"Fire. Shoot that thing down!" he requested.

Quickly three tanks moved in, took aim and fired.

"BANG!"

"BANG!"

"BANG!"

Three powerful projectiles were directed toward that being who made no pretense of dodging them.

"BOOOOOM"

"SPLASH!"

When it exploded, the blood and skin of that being spread all over the ground. The sight was not a pleasant one for the soldiers watching, but at least they could tell that the thing was dead.

Or so they thought...

Suddenly, as if by magic, the being, that had been destroyed by the projectiles, came back together as if nothing had happened.

The skin, blood and muscles regenerated again at a superhuman speed, returning the being as before. Well, that's not true.

Actually, there were noticeable differences as the being now looked more muscular. Even a protrusion like a bone or a stone protruded from some of the more vulnerable parts such as the arms, shoulders, chest and legs.

This made the soldiers' minds go completely numb. The General, all he could say, was.

"Corporal, call Central. Tell them we need the Justice League, and it's urgent!"

"...Understood, sir!"

The monster just stood there, inert. His eyes still expressed no emotion.

"The alert has been sent, sir"

"Good. Now we've only got one job, corporals"

"What is it, sir?"

"Hold out until the Justice League arrives...FIRE!"

"FIRE!"

"BANG!"

"BANG!"

"BANG"

Missiles, bullets shells and so on were launched at this monster that remained inert. Smoke began to emerge from all the explosions that were going off in the place. But that did not matter to the soldiers. They just wanted to shoot that thing down.

However, there they saw that in reality things would not be as before, because, when they finished shooting, the monster was still completely intact. Its skin did not even have a scratch on it.

Clearly, from the first attack to the second, this being had evolved in its favor, and now its skin was resistant to this type of projectiles.

When they finished firing, the being finally moved. Moving at superhuman speed, the being reached a tank and, with just one blow, he completely destroyed the tank

"BOOOOOM!"

It didn't dent it. It didn't break it in half. It destroyed it, making it explode with one punch. The force exerted by this punch was something only beings with the strength of Superman or more could achieve.

Then, as if he had robotic commands, his gaze shifted to the second tank and he went on to do the same.

The General seeing this realized that resistance was futile. That even waiting for reinforcements was an impossible thing for them. Only one fate had the soldiers who were there. Death.

Finally, the massacre had begun....

This monster dismembered, destroyed, massacred these soldiers in a few seconds.

Dismembered bodies and blood scattered all over the place was all that was left. This Being... this Monster had no way of stopping. An ultimate weapon as Vandal always wanted.

You would think that Project Cadmus had been a success. That Vandal had achieved his goal. But that was wrong.

Perhaps this being was made from Vandal's body, but this monster was not Vandal. In fact, Vandal's consciousness and all his humanity had long since vanished. Now all that remained was a vessel with a mind that had only one thought.

To destroy everything in its path.

Doomsday had arrived, and the Ukrainians would be the first to know about it.....
