Chapter 250: Conversation

H'el walked along the corridor and soon saw Harrison Wells.

Harrison Wells sat in his automated wheelchair, his right hand lightly rubbing the joystick of the control lever, his left hand supporting his chin, lips gently rubbing, his gaze fixed on the dilapidated, rubble-strewn particle accelerator pipeline, lost in thought.

"So full of energy, so youthful," H'el stood beside Harrison Wells, looking at the rubble-strewn, partially damaged particle accelerator pipeline, and smiled faintly. "What do you feel when you see the Flash, who has grown up like a child?"

Harrison Wells remained silent for a while before faintly curling his lips in indifference. "No matter how he grows, he's still my lifelong archenemy."

Before H'el appeared, the Flash was merely his archenemy. After H'el appeared, everything changed. For Reverse Flash, the Flash was no longer just a simple archenemy. He could be a mortal enemy, a collaborator, or even a competitor vying for a position under H'el. It all depended on whether he was willing to genuinely submit to H'el.

Since the moment H'el appeared under the time vault, defeated him, and informed him of the future, Reverse Flash knew that H'el wouldn't let him off lightly.

For Reverse Flash, H'el was actually his greatest enemy, whom he could only submit to and escape from the fate of being wiped out from the established fate with the Flash. But he also had to guard against H'el overturning the table. If he failed in the end, he would have to make H'el willing to save him.

Reverse Flash's complex thoughts were truly ever-changing, portraying the intricate inner world of an intelligent person to the fullest.

In simple terms, it's a wait-and-see approach.

H'el sighed inwardly and shook his head. Reverse Flash was indeed a pity.

Even if he wasn't chosen by himself to replace the Flash in his universe, he could still become the leader of the Speed Force Legion, which would be a great choice. With Reverse Flash's intelligence, he was definitely a universal research talent in the field of speed force, even more profound than Barry. But... this guy is just too unpredictable.

His mind is too complex and agile.

How can H'el let such a person lead his legion?

Afraid that after leading, he would think he was invincible and immediately rebel.

H'el didn't see a bright future for Reverse Flash.

Harrison Wells glanced at H'el and smiled faintly. "Let's wait and see."

H'el smiled and extended his hands, starting to push Harrison Wells' wheelchair from behind, slowly guiding him towards the control hall. The two of them chatted easily, like good friends.

"At this time, he should have noticed his anomaly."

"Yeah, I also need to schedule a visit to Ferris Airfield's runway. Do you want to come along to see his first run? It should be a memorable moment."

"No, I've seen the moment when he was struck by lightning and gained his speed, and I've seen the Flash run too many times. Not interested."

"Fair enough. Your Flash from your universe is indeed pitiful. But don't you get bored squatting in the STAR Labs all day? This isn't exactly a sunny environment. Sometimes the vast space here can feel suffocating and gloomy. It's refreshing to get some fresh air and see different scenery outside."

"Yeah, earlier Cisco invited me to play airsoft on Sunday, shoot some plastic bullets at those kids. Watching them scratch their heads in confusion should be fun."

"Haha..." Harrison Wells couldn't help but chuckle. Conversations with H'el were always enjoyable.

Setting aside the threat he posed within the time vault, H'el was indeed a charming person in their usual interactions.

Cisco enjoyed spending time with H'el a lot, whether it was playing video games, airsoft battles, or simply walking, skipping stones together. It was always a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

"Oh, by the way, do you still have plans for the Grodd subplot in the sewer in your future plans?" H'el asked as he pushed Harrison Wells' wheelchair.

Grodd is a gorilla.

Previously used in experiments in the STAR Labs' biomedical department, he had been taken care of by Caitlin.

After the particle accelerator was exploded by Harrison Wells, Grodd gained psychic abilities, allowing him to control others.

To prevent Grodd from causing trouble while the Flash was still absent, Harrison Wells kept him in the sewers.

Psychic abilities are relatively rare, and H'el had only encountered them sparingly, such as with Martian Manhunter and Scar, a Guardian of the Universe, possessing almost telepathic powers of "I think, therefore I am."

H'el's highest prediction for psychic abilities was to create worlds with a single thought, wielding god-like power.

So, to simply treat Grodd as a villain with mind control abilities and use him against the Flash would be a waste.

Harrison Wells thought for a moment before saying, "Do you need him?"

"I want to train him to be my assistant. With the potential he possesses, perhaps he can go far," H'el replied confidently. "No less than the Speed Force."

Harrison Wells was stunned for a moment, not expecting Grodd, whom he had treated as an object, to hold such great potential in H'el's eyes. It was surprising to hear H'el say that Grodd was no less than speed force.

He knew that H'el came from another universe, where he had defeated and imprisoned the Flash. Based on his behavior and words, Harrison Wells speculated that he might have established a significant force, possibly even a ruler in the universe.

Now, the ruler of the universe had set his sights on Grodd, claiming that Grodd was no less than speed force. Harrison Wells was somewhat taken aback.

He couldn't see where Grodd's strength lay.

Perhaps this was the difference in perspective between himself and H'el.

"The STAR Lab is under your command. Do as you please," Harrison Wells replied.

H'el shook his head. "You're wrong. I'm not that domineering, seizing everything for myself."

"You don't seem like a ruthless ruler who controls billions of lives and possesses immense power," Harrison Wells chuckled.

"When it's time to be ruthless, I won't hesitate to destroy a planet," H'el said. "But don't think of me as too cruel. There's a big difference between treating one's own and treating others."

Harrison Wells shrugged, his eyes under the glasses understanding, and said, "Well, I won't need Grodd later. It's best if you can take care of him. He's not an easy one to handle."

H'el pushed Harrison Wells into the control hall, where they could hear Barry's shocked, excited, and nervous voice.

"I'm so fast now!"
