9Years later, I am currently 14 years old.

in those years I trained my body and control of the light. with all that training and with the help of Uther's memories I gained, 3 important skills.

Devotion Aura. it is passive skill that any ally of the paladin gain's durability and a little bit of healing, this healing is only for bruises and small cuts while the durability is akin to body armor for the paladin.

Divine Shield. Allows the paladin to be invulnerable. the more control the paladin of wielding the light. the longer the duration, for now I can use the divine shield for 1 second.

and last is. Blessings of might. this allow the paladin to grant one person a strength buff. the duration id dependant on the control of the paladin. for now I can cast it with the duration of 1 minute.

Those 3 skills are not the only thing I have trained in those years, I have learned the hammer arts of the paladin and was proficient in it, as well as the unarmed combat style.

looking at my body now I have gained a little muscle, and was taller than the average 14 year old.

with a smile I proceeded to dress myself and went to school.

Gotham city middle school

I was walking down the hallway when the local bullies is currently stuffing a small kid inside a locker.

as I looked at the scene I sighed. a few years ago I was in the same position as the kid, but unlike him I fought back, after that nobody tried to bully me again.

I proceeded to walk to the bullies and said.

"Guys I hope you can let him go. Please."

the bullies looked at me and smirked. then he said.

"and why would we do that? and what are you going to do about it?"

I sighed then i said.

"I hope I don't have to resort to this."

With a swift motion I grabbed the head of one of the bullies and proceeded to smash his head into the locker.

"You bastard."

then a punch which was coming from the side

suddenly came to view, I dodged, then elbowed his face. he was knocked out instantly.

the last bully was now terrified, then he pulled out a knife and proceeded to threaten me with it.

I smirked, then my facial expression turned cold in a matter of seconds. fist fights is one thing but pulling out a weapon is another matter.

"Hey if you pull out a weapon be prepared to kill with it."

I said as I was walking towards him. then suddenly teachers came into view. and the last bully hid his knife and said.

"This isn't over you hear me!"

I sighed then opened the locker, inside there was skinny kid with glasses.

"you ok bud?"

"Thank you but you don't have to do this again."

he proceeded to walk away. I smiled. and walked away as well.

After school

while I reached the orphanage, I saw a few men outside the gate. I walked over I saw the leader talking to Mrs Evans.

"We don't have the money, tell Marone that this months payment is delayed."

"No can do Nadya this is the Marone's territory. Now pay up or we destroy everything."

Mrs Evans was in tears and continue to plead with the men.

"Please we don't have the money, I can pay you next month."

the Men sighed and said.

"Men do it take anything of value."

"No!"

then the men proceeded to destroy and looted the place of anything of value. as I saw this I was enraged. I want to destroy them Right now. but I know this is not the time for that.

with anger in my eyes watch the whole thing until the end. as the men left the place, I walk to Mrs Evan's side and said

"They will pay for this!"

Mrs Evans shook her hear.

"No Leon it's fine we can always fix what was broken."

I nodded but deep down I was angry.

after dinner I went into my room. I took a black hoodie inside my closet. then i proceeded to go in the toolshed where the sledge hammer I was training with kept.

after a few minutes of searching I found the men who trashed the orphanage walked inside a bar.

I steeled myself and proceeded to activate Devotion Aura. with determination, I slowly walked to the bar.

this bar is owned by the Marone family one of the Mafia families of Gotham. as I was about to enter a big man stoped me from going in.

"Hey kid where are you going."

as he said that's. I grabbed the head of the hammer with my hand and proceeded strike his abdomen, as he was clutching his stomach, I grabbed his collar and headbutt him.

as the man fell the man beside him puled out a gun and shot me in the chest. but what happened next shocked the man.

The bullet just fell of my body as it was nothing. with both hands holding the hammer I proceeded to smash his face with the hammer.

I looked at the two men sprawled on the ground I smiled then went inside.

because of the gunshot outside the bar many of Marone's men took out their guns and prepared for what's to come.

a few minutes later they saw a kid with a black hoodie and bloody sledgehammer in his hand.

without hesitation they opened fire.

after a few seconds, after the dust settles. they saw the same kid again he was not injured but his clothes were now in taters.

"My turn!"

then I casted blessings of might on my self. and proceeded to attack the men inside the bar.

meanwhile in a rooftop near the bar a black hooded figure with pointy ears in his cowl. saw what was happening in the bar. then a young man suddenly landed beside him. he is wearing red with a cape and a mask.

"Robin I think we found a new recruit into the teen titans."

"Yes father I think so too."
