Chapter 11

Now standing in front of the door, Batman opened up a small piece on the door itself on the outside. It seems as if the doctor placed this piece back over the door so that the patient inside would not be able to see outside of the room.

Looking inside, Batman was able to hear the patient who was talking to herself in a weird and somewhat creepy tone.

The woman was wearing a jacket to prevent her from being able to use her arms. Her hair was completely unkempt. Tears and drool covered the woman's face as she started screaming into the air above her.

After several minutes of watching this patient, Batman was unsure how to proceed. Earlier in the week, this woman was captured by Superman and delivered here to keep under Batman's close watch.

In Superman's city, this woman was acting very similar to Diaz who Batman tried to take down earlier in the night. She also used similar dark mist to attack Superman and nearly defeated him until he received some help from a vigilante who was visiting from another place.

Unable to run the proper tests, Superman committed this woman into Arkham Asylum who in the same day just received all of this funding from Bruce Wayne as well as more equipment.

After seeing the woman beginning to chant in a strange language which was not from Earth, Batman closed the opening of the door. Then suddenly, Batman felt a presence behind him.

Without even turning around, Batman asked a question to the figure who was standing behind him. "Any news on her?" he said, waiting for the figure behind him to respond.

From behind him, stood another super hero who used magical attacks to capture criminals and to protect the Earth from evil creatures who only he could fight it out with. This hero was none other than Dr.Fate!

"I have tried to pinpoint that language she is speaking, but I am not having any luck." Dr.Fate told Batman as they both started walking down the hall. "I would say that I am close, but that is only because I did not find anything and will need to look in other places."

"If it was in none of your tower's records, it is safe to say that trying to look further into it may be a waste of your time as well as my time." Batman replied as both heroes felt a sense of pressure on their shoulders.

First it was Superman and now it is Batman who has ran across individuals who used this dark mist in fighting them off. It was not as vital to find some more clues about the dark mist, but with another villain using the dark mist in a completely different city, there was now no telling just how far this has spread out to.
