I ran upstairs to my room immediately shutting the door behind me making sure Mom couldn't reach me, I had alot to think about this evening and I didn't need questioning. I breath a sigh of relief knowing mom couldn't reach me unknown to me that what was in my room with me was way worse than I had expected

"I was thinking of a way to get you alone with me but here you are locking us up in a room together, kind of dirty and scandalous... Don't you think Jess" I flinched when heard Danny from the far conner in my room, she looked like she made herself comfortable on the little sofa.

My room being much bigger now meant I noticed less things than usual around but the bigger question right now was what was Danny doing in my room and how did she get here...

"Don't look so shocked, It's definitely not weird for to check up on my little brother's girlfriend now is it? A lot of people do it these days. it's called bonding" Danny explained

"Or am I doing something wrong, maybe I shouldn't even be here" Danny said making me feel a bit guilty

"N-No, I I was just wondering why you weren't at work or something n-not that I mind you here or anywhere" I lied

"Ooh well, when I found out my little sister in law wasn't at school today I just had to come find out what was wrong with you, to see if I could help, but it seems like you've been having fun alot of fun outside... Do you know how much Ethan's been worried about you" Danny said finally looking up from her phone...

Did she follow me, does she know about Robert... wait my diary, I looked around my room to find if anything was amiss, if Danny ever found out about it I don't think she'll ever let me out of her sight, so I have to play along

"I'm sorry Danny, everything was so much to take in since that night, so I needed time to get myself together and I guess I fell sick in the process" I said walking closer to her

Danny looked at me from head to toe, maybe trying to figure out if I was lying which I obviously was

"If that's the case why didn't you stay home and get some rest, let Stella look after you, she is your Mom isn't she?" Danny asked half concerned

"Well yeah, but Dad was talking about this new cafe and thought I'd like to check it out first and maybe some fresh air along the way" I felt like I was walking on ice answering all these questions.

"You could have waited to go with us- I mean your friends, you know" Danny stammered which if I can remember almost never happens... Something was up

"Y-Yea, I thought I'd check it out before we all went, it not as good as they say it is, I guess we should just stick to our regular" I lied in fear that they would do something about Robert

Danny was quite for a while, I guess she was trying to access the situation calmly, she looked at me again as I smiled trying to keep up that innocent little girl facade...

"Alright, but next time keep your phone closely with you, I wouldn't want anything bad happening to you now would I?" Danny stood up smiling as she left my room

(Sigh) "By the way, Ethan has something planned for you two this evening, be ready by 7, I'll talk to your Mom about it ok" Danny said popping her head back into the room

Too shocked and caught off-guard I just nodded with a forced smile, she smiled back she finally left the room, I almost literally collapsed on the floor of my room. That was too intense for just one person, I thought whipping the beads of sweat from my forehead
