Chapter 8: Gotham

(A/N This is the new chapter that was not part of the rewrite. Please write comments and give power stones. Also leave reviews when you feel like you have read enough to leave a good one. Obviously some chapters were not changed as much as others but I feel like some ideas needed to be changed to make the story better. They had just finished eating breakfast. Ardyn had smiled an asked Talia "So did he give us any good information."

Talia nodded and handed Ardyn an iPad. On it contained information about their base in Gotham. Ardyn smirked "So they are in Gotham. I'm going to check it out tonight by myself."

Anna seemed worried "Are you sure you can do that by yourself."

Ardyn nodded "Easy I just plan on doing recon anyways."

Talia rolled her eyes "You always just plan on doing recon but something always happens. It's why Dad was always so strict on you."

Ardyn scoffed "Fuck that old bastard. I'm killing him next time I see him."

Anna tilted her head "Why do you want to kill you dad?"

Ardyn sighed "Long story I will tell you another time. Anyways we should all just go to class. Also Anna where did you live before?"

Ardyn had a shock face on "Oh just at the college dorms."

Ardyn nodded "Talia why don't you an Anna drive separately from me. I will take my motorcycle to school and then head to Gotham. While you two move Anna in."

Talia nodded "Yeah sure maybe we can have a girls night."

Ardyn groaned "Yeah sure."

They all then left and while they were in separate vehicles they still went to the same school. Once they got to the main courtyard they all went their separate ways.

Ardyn and Talia went to their first class again sitting next to Jean and Scott.

Scott asked "So what happened yesterday?"

Ardyn just looked over at Jean who started to throw up. Ardyn noticed that her line of sight was to Talia. Ardyn shook his head "Pathetic control your powers better."

Scott got angry but Jean who just stopped throwing up said "I will try."

Scott then left with Jean so that she could head to the nurses office. Ardyn started to laugh "You must have done some messed up shit Talia."

Talia had a wide grin "Well he was from Hydra."

The rest of the day went as normal. Anna had actually joined Ardyn, Talia, MJ, Gwen, Peter, Harry and Felicia for lunch.

Then finally at the end of the day Ardyn said bye to Talia an Anna. He then hopped on his motorcycle and started to head towards Gotham. It had only took an hour to drive to Gotham from his college. When Ardyn had got their he parked his bike in a alley and made sure it was secure.

Ardyn was currently black pants with a black hoodie he wanted to make sure he blended in more at night as it was already sunset. Ardyn climbed up to a roof of a building and then began to start hopping from roof to roof. Looking for both the hydra base or anything that might peak his interest.

A couple hours later

Ardyn was getting bored he has been staring at this bar for almost two hours. The bar he was looking at was actually the hydra base that they knew about from the agent they tortured. All Ardyn could see was random criminals entering the bar and leaving no signs of Hydra Agents.

Ardyn decided to just set up a surveillance camera that he brought which would give a live feed to the computer in his basement.

After it was all set up Ardyn heard two explosions in two different areas too far to be apart of the hydra base.

Ardyn then heard a loud engine below him. He looked down and saw an all blacked out vehicle that seemed heavily armored going to the explosion on the right.

Ardyn sighed "Definitely Batman. With the information based on him he has been doing this for a couple years now. I rather not deal with it. Seems more annoying then anything. Plus he would probably try to fight me. Guess I'm checking out the other one."

Ardyn started to run from roof to roof heading towards the explosion he could see on the left. When he finally got there he actually saw some Hydra agents.

He got closer and looked at the fight that was happening. He saw one girl fighting ten hydra agents by herself.

Ardyn stopped when he looked at her. She had beautiful black hair. Ardyn could also tell that even though she was wearing a leather jacket that she had a perfect body. When she turned around Ardyn couldn't help but stare at her legs that were hugged by her tight pants. Ardyn noticed she had very cat like features and her own set of metal claws.

Ardyn smiled "Well time to save a hot girl."

Ardyn jumped off the roof and quickly got into action. When he made it too her she had already killed three. So Ardyn focused on his magic and made all three of the bodies explode sending bloody spikes in all directions. With that Ardyn killed another three hydra agents and injured two.

Ardyn then saw the girl kill the two injured ones. Ardyn then quickly killed the ninth one and knocked out the tenth one. He planned on getting more information out of him.

The girl saw this and started to make her way to kill the last hydra agent. Ardyn stepped in front of her "Woah I need the guy."

The girl was pissed "What the fuck you keeping him alive for. He should be dead like the rest."

Ardyn rolled his eyes "Listen here kitty. I need him alive to get more information to find out more about their base."

The girl narrowed her eyes "Kitty."

Ardyn waved his hands in the air "Listen listen. I think we got off on the wrong foot."

Ardyn stuck out his hand "I'm Ardyn Sephiroth."

To Ardyn's surprise she actually shook his hand "Laura Kinney. Not kitty."

Ardyn smiled "Not my fault. I saw you fight and thought you looked agile like a cat. Plus with those claws."

Laura glared at Ardyn "Whatever. So how can I be sure you are going to kill this guy."

Ardyn shrugged his shoulders "Well you can come to my base house if you want."

Laura rolled her eyes "Base house."

Ardyn nodded "It's my house and my base of operations."

Laura thought for a moment "No it's fine."

Ardyn shrugged "Okay. So why were you hunting Hydra agents?"

Laura sighed "It's personal."

Ardyn nodded "Well would you like to raid the base with my group in about a week or so."

Laura thought for a moment "Why don't we raid it now."

Ardyn pointed at the hydra agent who was still alive "That's what he is for. I need to get more information from this guy to make raiding the base easier. Not everyone has metal in their body."

Laura narrowed her eyes "How do you know?"

Ardyn smirked "Well besides the obvious metal claws. I also have a certain power that gives me an in depth knowledge of blood. So I can literally see in some sense the metal in your body interact with the blood."

Laura nodded "Makes sense."

Ardyn had a shocked face "You don't think I'm lying."

Laura leaned in close with a smirk "I can always sniff out the liars."

Ardyn had a slight blush and Laura handed him a piece of paper and said in a soft voice "Let me know and call me when you do the raid."

Ardyn smirked "Just the raid."

Laura smirked as she started to walk away. Ardyn was waiting for a response but didn't get one. Ardyn just sighed. "Whatever we are going on the raid soon anyways."

Ardyn then lifted the unconscious hydra agent "And you bitch boy are going to have one long night."

Ardyn carried him over to his motorcycle with no effort and tied him up like in a hog tie and strapped him to the back of his motorcycle. Ardyn then covered him with some military cover and started to make his way back home.

When he finally got home it was midnight. He had been gone for a long time. When he walked in he saw Talia was the only one downstairs.

Talia smirked "I'm so happy you got another one."

Ardyn nodded and threw him to the ground. The hydra agent then groaned. Ardyn smirked "I know I'm the best."

Talia narrowed her eyes "So what took you so long. I saw you set up the video camera three hours ago."

Ardyn gave a wry smile "I ran into someone who was actually fighting these hydra agents. They were actually a pretty good fighter."

Talia walked up and gave a threatening smile "A girl I'm guessing."

Ardyn looked to the side "What no. Just some random."

Talia rolled her eyes "I know it's a girl."

Ardyn was shocked "What how?"

Talia sighed "You have had a dumb smirk on your face this whole time."

Ardyn just sighed "Whatever I'm going to bed. Make sure to burn the room again when your done with him."

Talia put on a very 'nice' smile "Of course."
