11. Attack

Tom realized that the people were vampires. When he tries to read their mind, the woman's name is Victoria, one of the men's name is Laurent, and the last person's name is Richard.

 The vampire named Richard was running faster than a car and attacked Tom. As his hands were about to touch his body, Richard fell back as if he had hit a wall.

 If Tom had protected himself with the 'fiento duri' spell, Richard would have met death

 He turned to the fallen vampire and pointed his wand. He performed the simple spell 'immobulus'. The vampire, whose name was Richard, was unable to move. Thanks to her special ability, Victoria could tell that Tom was thinking of killing herself.

Laurent began to speak.

"It's his own fault, we don't want to fight with you."

 Laurent didn't want to die because of Richard. Tom wouldn't have released them if they had made any move. Tom wanted to be different from his old self. He released the two and returned to Richard. Laurent and Victoria ran away.

 They realized that the man before them was not a normal person.

 Using his 'finite' spell, Tom solved the freezing spell he cast on Richard. Richard started to get scared and thinks that the man in front of him is a monster. Tom pointed to the dead man by the tree and asked Richard a question.

 "Did you kill this man?"

 Richard answered anxiously.

"No, it was James who did this. We didn't do anything to him."

 Tom raised his wand and cast the forbidden curse 'Crucio'. Richard started screaming on the ground in pain. He wouldn't be kind to someone who wanted to kill him.

 Tom wanted to experiment with a vampire's body, but since he didn't feel like doing it right now, he decided to kill the vampire.

 A green light came out from Tom's wand and hit Richard. Tom was so fast that Richard was dead before he could even stand up. Richard's lifeless body burned after Tom waved his wand.

 After disposing of Richard's body, Tom apparated into the Town. He cast an spell on a man in town and apparated back to his house. He directed the man on whom he cast an spell to the dead man in the forest and broke the imperius spell after making him report it to the police. Tom found this way because he didn't want to deal with the police.

 It was quite late when He came home. While Tom was getting ready to sleep, there was a knock at the door.

 When Tom went out, he saw that it was Sheriff Charlie knocking on the door. The sheriff began to speak.

"Mr. Miller, I meet you again. I didn't know your house was dead here. Did you notice anything abnormal outside tonight?"

Tom looked at the sheriff and started speaking.

"No, I didn't notice any abnormality, I was at home, Sheriff."

 Charlie didn't suspect Tom, he was just doing his duty and gathering information. The house closest to where the body was was Tom's house.

"I understand, Mr.Miller, please do not go out at night, it can be dangerous."

The Sheriff didn't tell Tom that he found a body, he was keeping it secret for now.

 "Thank you Sheriff"

"Take care of yourself Mr. Miller"

"You too Sheriff"

 Charlie was in a bad mood due to the recent unsolved murders. After Tom entered the house, he sat on the sofa and started thinking about what happened. He isn't as cruel as he used to be. If he was cruel, he would have killed the other 2 vampires. But Tom doesn't kill for no reason anymore.
