Guild 3

"You are late," Leo said with a little too much smugness. 

"I apologize there was a ..." Eina, bless her soul, was still put off by his mysterious identity. It has only been two days but I have made significant progress due to the language being similar to English. 

But Two days was not enough for Eina to get used to my VIP treatment. 

"An adventurer?" I asked with a smile, she was only a few minutes late after all something that never happened.

"Yes," Eina said without any previous complaints that followed that word, did something happen?

"The adventurer under my care has been found dead on the fifth floor," Eina said trying her hardest not to show the emotions on her face. though one can tell she was really under the weather. 

"We can take a break today if you want" I suggested while flipping through the pages of the book in front of me. I had already been through one of them and another was half done, I still had plenty of time and could make out a few things by myself.

"It's alright," Eina said as she sat down across me.

"...and this here is 'cat' which can also..." Eina was teaching when I interrupted.

"wasn't that 'cold'?"

Eina paused and looked closely at what was written there, after a few seconds she was still at the book as I sighed. It didn't take a genius to guess that she was embarrassed.

"Let's stop here, I am not feeling like studying today." Leo stood up, closed the books, and started collecting all the paper that he had written on.

"Please wait, I am sorry I was not focusing..." Eina panicked.

"Did I say that?" Leo said while packing up his stuff.

This confused Eina as she started getting more nervous when he clarified.

"I said I don't feel like studying today, I will go to Rehmer and tell him that plus I have other things to do as well, and as for you... do what you want," Leo said as he left, leaving Eina alone in the Library.

Getting back to my quarters in the guild building I started unpacking and changing, there was not a lot to do around here plus when I couldn't go out it was even more of a bummer considering that I was in a fantasy world of all the places.

"You are early..."

"JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!!! Do not pop out of nowhere!" 

His sudden appearance when I clearly could see my apartment being empty along with his ghost-like clothing always manages to scare me. 

"Duly noted. Now I was saying you are home early today?" Fels asked.

"The elf lady had some issues plus I wanted to experiment with my status a bit" Ever since I came here and got the Falna, I have never used it. Not even once, since for some reason pulling the same magic as Sukuna in the middle of a populated city did not seem like a good idea, right?

We all know what I am talking about here.

"Is that why you have called for my assistance? For that unique magic of yours," Fels said as I nodded, getting help from the <Sage > was the best option for magic knowledge but why do I feel like he is hesitating?

"We should consult with Lord Ouranos on this matter," Fels said authoritatively. 

Consult? matter? what was the big deal about me learning how to use my...Oh.

Oh, I get it now, They don't trust me. I get that, I also do not trust myself with this much power either and god knows for what reason I have been given this power or why I am here.

"Sure. Let's go right now," 

Fels disappeared while I had to go the long way and walk to the guild building. after entering the guild I made my way towards Royman's office. I could have gone straight toward the prayer room but that would meant doing so in front of dozens of employees who as of yet did not know about me, because when I first arrived I made sure that I stood out just enough to bring the attention of Royman, who then brought me to Ouranos. 

He should get a second way to his prayer room, one for only special people. 

"This way," Royman said while leading me to Ouranos. Seems like Fels got there first and informed Royman of my impending visit who then led me on a secret path to Ouranos's prayer room. 

Never mind there was a separate way.

Arriving at the prayer chamber, I finally had a chance to properly have a look at the place, since the last time I was here I was busy panicking about this ordeal, and as good as Isekai sounds, one look at Subaru and it doesn't sound good anymore. Though now that I know I can become like Sukuna, I can at the very least defend myself. 

The room consisted of multiple torches and a single set of staircase that led to a throne where Ouranos sat, some even call this the Altar if I remember correctly. Fels stood next to Ouranos beside the throne, while Royman stood beside me in front of the stairs, nervously looking at the trio.

"Now can leave, Royman," Ouranos said.

Royman hurriedly left the place leaving me with Ouranos and Fels.

"Fels tells me that you wish to learn magic," Ouranos said breaking the silence. 

"Yes," I said standing my ground.

"why?" Ouranos asked suspiciously.

"Why not?" I asked without taking a single hint of his suspicion.

"You will be safe with the guild, and be provided a good job from the guild as well as anything else you need as a payment for all you have told us," Ouranos said as his suspicion slowly turned to curiosity again. 

"Why do you wish to endanger your life as an adventurer?" Ouranos added as he and Fels waited for my response.

"When did I say I wish to be an adventurer?" I asked with a smile.

"Do you not?" Ouranos asked. 

with a pause, I thought about saying no, but even a child who has seen anime can tell that, that is a lie. A part of me wants to be one of the adventurers, exploring the dungeon. With the sukuna's powers, it will be much less dangerous than it would have been, but the other part is a privileged kid from the twenty-first century with a smooth and quiet life who does not want to see bloodshed.

and if there is anything consistent about adventurer, it's the killing. And I have sukuna's power, of all the people in jujutsu kaisen why did it have to be the one who loves cutting people? can I ask for Gojo's template instead is that allowed? 

"somewhat" I replied to Ouranos, still unsure about my future here. In my defense, it has only been two days since I came here.

"We do not trust you," Ouranos said bluntly.

Well, that was blunt.

"and I can see where you are coming from," I said since I knew them from the anime I told them about my situation but if that was not the case I would have never opened my mouth, anything about me would be a secret I would be taking to my grave if necessary.

But I knew about them, but these two knew nothing about me. They knew of my world and Ouranos should have a basic idea about what kind of person I was when he engraved his Falna on my back but after I gained this power, The situation changed. I am not a weak otherworldly person lost in this world.

But one that has the potential to be a very dangerous individual and one with immense knowledge of this world's people and secrets.

If there was one thing gods learned about mortals since coming down, it was that the mortals could always surprise them, for better and for worse.

"So what do we do?" I said with a sigh. They are scared that I will become a dangerous individual with these powers and I fear that I will be hunted down by the gods for being an anomaly in their game.

This time it was Fels who came forward with his views on the matter.

"I will teach you magic"

This shocked Ouranos, but I could feel a 'but' coming.

"On one condition" he added.

As both Leo listened carefully,

"use your skill [Binding Vow]."
