Cleansing Ritual

By 7:30 pm that evening a knock was heard on kafas' door.

***Knock! knock!!***

"It's Umar, I came to call you for the ritual, it's time," he said before kafas even asked who it was.

"Alright, give me a second I'll be with you soon, "kafas quickly replied.

Kafas couldn't sleep as the taught of the damn ritual keep floating on his head. He was scared.

Scared because he doesn't want to see the dreadful face of Dracos and the memory of last night were not helping as they keep on hunting the slightest peace that came his way.

"I'm still here you know!" Umar's voice jotted kafas back to reality.

"~oh!"

***Kkriiii(door opening)***

"Sorry for the de..."

"May we go now?" his voice stopping kafas halfway before leading the way.

It was a large hall. In the middle of the hall was a large pot of water with the yellow herbs taken from the temple of Oasis. There was also a large casted table close to the pot and on it were some pins and knives.

"Welcome kafas, we've been waiting for you, please come over here," a young priest called out with a grin on his face...he continued...

"Please do well to lie down on the table, it's only going to take a while."

Scared as a Deer,kafas asked, "are these knives meant for tearing the mark off my tiny arm?"

"Don't worry son, no one will tear you open as imagined in your head," the old priest kafas came with replied...

Stretching a teacup to him, he continued...

" Be calm and hold onto this dagger, hold it close to your chest, it will protect you when the time comes."

Looking intently at the dagger in his possession, with a questionable look on his face...

"Oh, before you ask, that's a fortified dagger, a protective weapon against Dracos, the monstrous killer who will come after you when the ritual begins."

"...W..what the hell," kafas exclaimed with fright.

The thought of seeing Dracos' deadly face hunts him deeply and having to face him again is a nightmare kafas need to wake up from.

"Oh~~my world!!! kafas' eyes shining so bright with fear written over his face. 

"I need to get out of here now!!!... But wait, I think I'm feeling dizzy."

"Oh!!! the tea, damn it.....!!!" Kafas thought, almost screaming the whole building down.

"Master, can we....."

***Blacked out....***

...Immediately, kafas saw himself in an entirely strange place; in a Desert.

"Where the heck am I?"

"what's this place?"

"How in the world did I get here?" looking confused...

"I ought to be in the temple right?..or..am I in the land of no return?" scratching his head with a worried expression that depicts his worst nightmare coming to reality.

***Uuuzzzz***

"What's that?" 

Kafas' eyes caught a strange sight of a dark cloud of wind moving towards his direction with the most dangerous speed one could ever imagine.

"Run for your life..!!!," a voice exploded in his head.

**Gede!gede!!gede!!!**

Immediately, the adrenaline level within him skyrocketed and he took to flight, running as fast as his legs could muster.....but what can the tiny legs of a 6year old do amid such fast approaching hurdle.

***Vuuuuup***

Suddenly,kafas found himself in the very heart of this Darkness.

"Hahaha!!!...you can't run from me you know!" a familiar voice sounded from within the darkness...

"I told you we'll meet again and here we are, fate has brought you to meeeee....!!!"

"Hahahahahahaha"

"Damn it!!!" Kafas exclaimed.

"My worst nightmare has just been confirmed and this time around, who will save me from this evil before me!!!"

"....oh!!!see how much doom will befall me and how can I escape this great evil that's about to crush me?"

Before kafas could mutter those words under his breath.....

***Boom***

**Krisp**

The sword of Oasis drawn on him by the Gods and the dagger given to him by Master kino appeared with a motive of defending him.

***Hehehe***

"Oh~!I expected to see your companions and that's why I came prepared, "Dracos said, with a wicked grin on his face.

"Get him!" he commanded.

Immediately kafas saw two fearsome monsters who look like tigers having flames on their tale attack him.

"Roar...!!!"

Lucky for him, his defense was strong.....

The spear and dagger, the weapons which came to his defense attacked in unison, and immediately pierced the neck and stomach of the first monster that came close.

***Kpruff! kpruff!!***

Tiger monster spitting blood.

"Yes! one down," kafas exclaimed.

Seeing this, the second beast halted and traded with caution.

As if studying a pray, it took its time looking for a loop to attack.

Seeing the hesitation exhibited by the Tiger monster, Dracos became so furious with it...

"Attack..!!!!" 

Dracos gave another command but that was a mistake cause this led the beast to make a hasty decision which caused its downfall.

***Kpruff! kpruff!!***

Second Tiger monster down...

The attack of the spear and dagger was so fatal that the Tiger monster was struck down in an instant with the spear piercing his head deeply and the dagger stabbing his neck...

" Yes! two down, "kafas exclaimed in excitement.

***Ahhh shhh!!!***

"Stupid! wasteful!! useless creatures!!!,"Dracos cursed angrily, almost being set ablaze by anger...

"I have to end this once and for all," he continued.

But Dracos was cautious, seeing that kafas' defense was far stronger than the last time they met; he knew the consequence of taking a wrong step...

At the temple where kafas laid, his whole body was burning extremely and the dagger on his chest was emitting a white light just as the Tattoo on his back.

A calm voice could be heard speaking to him, "Kafas, be strong, we're almost done with removing the drainer."

Dracos was very much observant.....he knows that any wrong move can cost him being annihilated.

Suddenly, kafas' defense went flat; the spear and dagger were no more on guard(vanished), and seeing this kafas became extremely frightened.

"...Ah!I'm doomed!!"

The scream of kafas could be heard even in the temple as he fell on his knees.

***Wooopa***

"As expected, you're done!!!"

Dracos said, pointing his sword in kafas' direction with a smirk on his face...and moving with the highest speed unimaginable, he got to him with his sword raised high up...

***Swiss***

Striking down furiously at the defenseless kafas...

***Screammmm***

"Ahhh!!!...."
