Biting Wind
Jeez, this translation is plain unreadable, the upgrades quickly start requiring specific materials, so it's just writer fiat and no real mc agency, the characters are dumb and we already have a R scene at the start, which is justified because we hate the character. so that justifies it, right?i just wanted the mc to be a production class overlord with his multitasking automated skills, but not even that, he just goes straight to kill 4 loot when he can safely grind such amounts way more safely in few days.
Very mid-novel. It's not bad but it's not good either. It's just another mc who got an OP cheat and becomes very powerful easily. Almost everything is handed to the mc without him barely working to get it. Every side character seem so trash compared to the mc and is barely worthy of being remembered because once the mc upgrades his realm and surpasses the region then he just goes to a stronger region. Leaving behind those useless side characters.
I like the story itself but the translator's skill left much to be desired and I don't have the patience for MTL level or worse translation quality. As such, I'll be dropping after 42 chapters. To be fair, despite my criticisms, I've read worse. But I just don't want to put in the investment towards this when I have better options. Besides, it's not free. Anyways someone tell me if the quality improves. P.S: My thanks to the author, the story is starting out great(though I doubt they'll ever read this.)
I have read all 40 chapters (available so far). I must admit, the first chapter was disappointing. The way the protagonist was suddenly transmigrated into a new world without questioning why or how it happened sounded amateurish. The lack of emotional connection with his homeland, family, and friends (if he has any, as the author does not mention) is equally frustrating. However, the system that merges with him is intriguing and well developed, which leads us to overlook the weak introduction. Unfortunately, the quality of the translation is unstable, and occasional errors break the immersion that reading should provide. Despite this, it is possible to understand the story, as the context usually clarifies the author's intentions. In summary, I enjoyed the novel and I am eager to continue reading. I hope it gets serialized here on webnovel. I recommend it!

Simply the best among the trials reads currently and even in terms of all time this rivals I Hijacked the Timeline. In terms of potential, I think it even surpasses that. Everything about this novel feels more palatable for western readers. General vibes like the cheat being interesting and characters not incredibly annoying and blabbling on about status and all that stuff. Also, the mc actually being able to explain his side of the situation in the synopsis and people actually being rational about it and talking things out. Deadass a miracle.
