Awakened Tommy

Awakening is like a trigger, a loosed loophole, an experience to start one's transformation, pushing them away from their mortal nature... elevating them a bit higher than normal.

Tommy's own soul re-aligned at what Tommy had believed to have been his death sentence. When Theodore had pulled the trigger yesterday, there had been a sudden rise in the molecules making up the human anatomy which instantly made it seem as if the entire world had come to almost a standstill, waiting for Tommy to deviate from the bullet's trajectory.

Tommy began to grasp a bit of knowledge from how an Awakened is created.

Now, he must have just entered half-step into being an Awakened... which he believes that if he Instantly becomes fully Awakened, these skills of his would spike to unprecedent heights.

The two beautiful strangers stared at Tommy, including Principal Garrett who's eyes gleamed. In Echelon High School, no one had ever Awakened before. He couldn't even boast of a single Stream-entry expert.

As an Awakened, one must follow the processes and stages to fully become a peak Awakened. Not only that, an Awakened is the foundation to reforming the soul. So while they have the normal Awakened stages, they also have awakening of soul. That stage is where the most difficulty lies... Without one's soul fully transformed and firm, they would never take the path of ascension.

"Have you heard about an Awakened before?" The pretty female stranger asked and Tommy shook his head...

obviously, he must not have known. Awakened we're rare to find within the City because the process through it is always bone-difficult. Some of those lucky ones go from the Stream-entry to Once-return.

Since they couldn't grasp the profanity of Once-return, they instantly fall back to the mortal nature never to awaken again.

"Being an Awakened is not by merely possessing extraordinary skills or forming your unique aspect ability... It is, following the path of an Awakened will your powers grow even."

There was a brief pause from the beautiful female stranger, but this moment was covered by the make.

"These path are... Very difficult! That's why it's rare to find Awakened in the Non-return stage, whereby their mortal nature had permanently been pushed aside, opening the window for even greater powers."

"We have the Stream-entry, Once-return, Non-return and lastly, the Perfection stage."

Tommy immediately jumped in.

"Excuse me, do I have to go through these stages as an Awakened?"

"Yes,"

Tommy's eyes gleamed. "Meaning I can Ascend after that?"

"No... Your soul should be completely reformed first! And that's where we have these reforming stages, Unconsciousness, Ego Death, The search, Emergence of True self and lastly, Life of Alignment."

Tommy's brows creased.

"Explain!" He demanded causing the pretty male to chuckle.

"The Unconsciousness– uh... Initially, life tends to unfold from a place of unconscious operation dominated by egoic identity. … Meaning, one must grasp the unconscious nature, very difficult. It took me almost a year to finally move to the next year.

The next stage which is Ego Death is not something that can be overcomed by trying to comprehend or grasp– at least to accomplish this, one must have a critical death experience... Near Death experience doesn't mean you simply die on the spot. You must experience what it felt like to be threatened by death and that Instant, one will achieve breakthrough..."

He paused for a while swallowing a bit of saliva.

"Navigating through these processes can be a bit tedious which actually demands patience and hardwork. This increase is a gradual process... So when you realize that it dulled up at a stage, don't simply give up... We were all there."

He flashed his white teeth in a smile.

"Actually, I'm Awakened James and this is Awakened Regina, we came here to actually see Wittney White perform, and then, we discovered that otherworldly glow of an Awakened in you."

Tommy was stunned.

"You noticed me?"

"Uh-huh... Anyways, you are yet to become a Stream-entry expert, if you can just walk into that realm, your powers will undergo a qualitative change."

For some reason, Principal Garrett was excited. Who wouldn't be? An Awakened was being born in Echelon High School, and with time, that would bring fame to the school as Awakened humans is very rare. Awakened actually becomes real Awakened after crossing the Once-return realm becoming a Non-return. So for now, Sir Garrett was simply hoping that Tommy crosses that almost impossible realm.

An Awakened is known as Mages, then as an Ascended, they become Saints... But as a Transcendent, they become Divine.

Every Awakened, Ascended and Transcendent we're always taken into consideration.. hidden because of how rare they were which means... The moment news reaches that Tommy had Awakened, people would want to recruit him.

His worth would only grow once he permanently abandons the mortal nature becoming a Non-return in the Awakened stage.

Tommy sighed.

"Too bad, I don't even have tickets to see Wittney White concert..."

Regina's face revealed a carefree smile and she brought out three concert tickets and passed it over.

"I bought almost ten of these tickets. You can invite any two friends of your choice."

Tommy was suddenly ecstatic and elated.

"Wow, thank you very much..."

"No problem... Awakened Tommy. Or should I say, Mage Tommy."

A sudden pride bubbled at the depth of Tommy's heart. And he nodded curtly before turning to Principal Garrett, giving him one look and exiting the office.

Garrett was excited.

"I really cannot believe it's happening. I wonder how he Awakened. Something that is very difficult to achieve ..." Garrett was stunned.

Regina sat across James in the furnished cushion and said;

"I knew what exactly it took me to fragment my human soul and become an Awakened. Most at times, been desperate to awaken simply just makes the awakening a slow process. If I can vividly recall, Tommy doesn't know anything about awakening or Awakened. He actually doesn't care about it and that's why he Awakened naturally."

Garrett stared at a vintage photo by the wall reminiscing.

"I hope he can make it through to Non-return stage of an Awakened."

"He will..."
