11. Peaceful Morning
"Huh?"
She rubbed her eyes as she opened them.
"Hmmm...."
Feeling something warm in her arms, Nadine prepared to go back to sleep. But when she realized she was hugging something weird she immediately touched it.
"Hah!"
Nadine, who was shocked, immediately opened her eyes and threw the hands in her arms.
"You've made my hand as a hugging pillow all night without wanting to let it go. And when you're bored you just throw it down."
Nadine immediately sat up and carefully looked to the side.
"Hah!"
Hearing Nadine shout loudly, Adrian immediately covered his ears in annoyance.
"How did you get here!"
Nadine then shifted away from Adrian who was massaging his hand.
"Haaaah.... Looks like you had another nightmare last night. I just wanted to tell you to move to your room."
Adrian paused for a moment to tidy up his wrinkled sleeves because Nadine didn't want to take them off at all last night.
"Then suddenly you grabbed my hand and didn't want to let go all night. What were you dreaming about!"
Nadine is still in shock and feels embarrassed to hear Adrian's story. Her face was slightly red when she saw Adrian's crumpled sleeves.
"Um.... Um.... Maybe I was tired yesterday from not getting enough sleep. Before going here I have to check some information about Marie's hospital."
Hearing her reason made Adrian slightly sympathize. He got up from his seat trying to straighten his stiff arm.
"Haaaah... But it seems your dream has nothing to do with Marie's hospital at all."
Nadine was silent but her face was clearly panicked. She bit her lower lip as if to contain her anxiety and panic.
Somehow the dream when Nadine lost her baby in her previous life haunted her again.
"I don't know.... I don't know either. But last night suddenly I felt a little calmer."
Adrian remembered when he "answered" Nadine's request in her dream last night. Nadine smiled and fell into a deep sleep after he spoke to her.

Adrian then stepped to go out and paused for a moment as he was about to open the door.
"You can rest again in your room, it's still too early. We have an interview with a magazine this evening, right?"
Nadine was a little surprised because Adrian reminded them of their schedule.

Nadine tried to give Adrian a smile to cover her nervousness.
Adrian just raised his hand up and left Nadine.
"Back then you didn't even open the door of this room at all when I took you to the interview. And that made me meet them by myself..... Haaaaah....."
Nadine took a deep breath and looked at the view outside her study room. The sun didn't rise yet because it was still five in the morning.
"Now you're the one who reminds us of our schedule..."
Nadine then stood up and left her study room to her room.

Breakfast at the table was ready for Nadine to eat when she just woke up. She just wanted to get some coffee and head straight to the study room again to finish her work but seeing the tempting breakfast made her choose to have breakfast first.
"Hmmm.... I only had a little lunch yesterday and skipped my dinner. So I'll have breakfast first he he."
A satisfied smile graced at her face when she saw the food in front of her. It was as if she had forgotten that there was one more person in the villa.
"Hmmm..... Delicious..."
Nadine really enjoyed her breakfast, she looked like she hadn't eaten for several days. She praised the food again and again.
"You seem really hungry?"
Without looking, Nadine answered the question.
"Of course... I only had a little lunch yesterday. And I also skipped the din...."
Her words stopped and made her turn to the source of the voice. When she found out that Adrian was standing behind her, she opened her eyes and choked.
"Cough... Cough..."
Adrian just sighed and immediately gave Nadine a water.
"You've been looking at me like you saw a ghost."
Nadine is still trying to catch her breath. She felt like he was being punished for frequently making Adrian choking.
"Sorry... I was shocked this morning and this time you suddenly appeared behind me."
Adrian just chuckled and casually sat across from Nadine.
"It was also my fault for not telling me when I entered the room."
Nadine, who was about to put food in her mouth, stopped.
"You're from outside?"
Adrian nodded.
"Yeah... I was going to tell you if I went out for a bit but you seem too tired to hear me knocking on your door."
Nadine almost choked again and can't believe that Adrian wants to tell her where he was going. She felt that Adrian began to be aware of her existence.
"This is new. Since when do you want to enjoy this villa?"
Adrian glared at Nadine when he heard her words.
"Huh... That's not what I meant. I'm glad you can enjoy this villa."
Nadine thought a little hard to change the subject. She felt that the Adrian in front of her was very different from the Adrian in her past who rarely even left his room when they were in the villa.
Seeing Adrian who now feels relaxed and free in the villa made Nadine curious about one thing.
"Are you really enjoying this villa?"
Nadine didn't realize she had said it out loud.
"Didn't you already know the answer from Auntie yesterday..."
Adrian casually answered Nadine's question. And successfully made Nadine gape in disbelief at Adrian's answer.
"I'm glad...."
Nadine smiled faintly and continued her breakfast. They finished their breakfast without another word.
Nadine finally returned to her study room.
Riiing Riiing
When she opened the door, Nadine was greeted by the sound of her cell phone ringing.
"Hello? Anna?"
She put the coffee and a plate full of snacks on the table. She accepted Anna's call and chose to stand by the window observing the outside.
"Did you have fun there?"
Nadine laughed at Anna's question.
"Ha ha ha... I'm working here Ann."
Anna chuckled in disbelief.
"Tsk.... It's good that Miss Nadine is enjoying her vacation."
Nadine smiled again.
"Miss Nadine.... I have arrived at the hospital but I haven't seen Mr. Benjamin yet. Can you help me contact him."
Nadine slapped her forehead realizing her stupidity. She forgot to give Anna Benjamin's phone number.
"Wait, I'll ask Adrian."
Without closing her cellphone she rushed to meet Adrian who was in his room. Suddenly Adrian's door opened from the inside just as Nadine wanted to knock on her door.
"Oops...."
Nadine was surprised because Adrian came out with the phone still in his ear. He was a little confused when see Nadine at his door with a cell phone in her hand.
"Benjamin."
"Anna."
They almost said the two names at the same time.
"You're calling Anna?"
Nadine nodded then she brought her cell phone to Adrian and turned on the speaker.
"Miss Anna? I'm talking to Benjamin right now. He's already in the hospital lobby."
From Adrian's phone Benjamin spoke a little louder. Even without turning on the speaker, Benjamin's cheerful voice could be heard.
"Adrian? Describe your wife's assistant Adrian?"
Without thinking, Nadine immediately approached the cellphone in front of Adrian's chest and answered Benjamin's question loudly.
"She is about 156 cm, always has her brown hair neatly ponytailed, wears glasses, usually she will wear a black or brown office suit. If you see a cute girl like cutie pie with a serious face, that's Anna."
Adrian couldn't believe Nadine gave Benjamin the details, let alone the cutie pie nickname she gave to Anna.
"Miss Nadine!!!"
Anna, who didn't like her nickname, shouted loudly at Nadine. And it looks like Benjamin found Anna right away.
"Oh I found the cutie pie."
Adrian just sighed at the behavior of Nadine and Benjamin. From Adrian's phone, they can hear Benjamin running towards Anna.
"Hello Miss Anna. You are exactly like the cutie pie that Nadine was referring to."
Nadine giggling at Benjamin's greeting to Anna. She could imagine how annoyed Anna looked now.
"Benjamin, be nice.... Sorry Miss Anna...."
Adrian sighed again and warned Benjamin.
"Miss Nadine and Mr Adrian, I have found Mr Benjamin I will hang up my call."
Anna's voice sounded very annoyed when she ended the call.
"Me too Adrian. Thanks Nadine. Bye."
Benjamin also immediately hung up the phone.
"I hope Benjamin doesn't upset Miss Anna."
Seeing Adrian, who shook his head, Nadine just chuckled.
"Adrian, you can accompany Aunt Marie and come back in the evening if you want."
Nadine asks Adrian to go to the hospital because she remembers Marie being alone in the hospital.
"I'll just be there tomorrow. Benjamin and I have asked Olivia to look after him for a while. I also called my aunt earlier. I would have wasted a lot of time on the road if I had to go back and forth."
Nadine suddenly fell silent and seemed to regret her words.
"Oh good... I'm going back to work. You don't have to call me for lunch. I've already brought some food into the room."
Adrian could see a hint of disappointment on Nadine's tired face but he didn't seem too concerned about it.
Nadine returned to her room with heavy steps. Even though she was determined with all her heart to let Adrian go and help her get back to Olivia. Still she felt hurt when she heard their closeness.
She turned her mind to her work and tried to reaffirm her original goal, 'solve Adrian's problem and help him get back to Olivia'.
Work makes her forget the time. It was almost time for the interview and she was still engrossed in her work.
Knock Knock
A knock on the door made Nadine pause for a moment.
"Yes... Come in."
Adrian who came in looked a little annoyed and glared at Nadine. Nadine looked up and was immediately stunned by Adrian's appearance. He looks neat in a white shirt and a navy blazer. To Nadine, the simple man in front of her looked handsome.
"You look good."
Nadine's sentence only made Adrian frown.
"Um I mean... You look really neat. Do you want to go out for lunch?"
Adrian looked even more annoyed.
"Nadine, do you know what time it is?"
Nadine checked the clock on her laptop and immediately shouted.
"Four o'clock!!!"
Nadine immediately closed her laptop and rushed to get ready. Seeing Nadine in a hurry Adrian just shook his head.
Nadine only takes a moment to dress up. Then she followed Adrian who was already waiting for her in the living room.
"Sorry.... I forgot about that time."
Adrian only responded to Nadine's apology with a sigh.
"Adrian, they will ask what is interesting about this villa and also the service of this villa. You've been looking around right? So it doesn't matter I guess."
Adrian just nodded in response to Nadine's question. It wasn't long before the reporters who interviewed them arrived. Nadine was the first to greet them.
"Miss Nadine, thank you for accepting our interview offer."
Nadine smiled at the words of the woman in front of her. She did not really remember the face of the woman who had interviewed her in the past. But her posture and hairstyle was like she had seen it somewhere.
She then led them to the living room where Adrian was already waiting. Nadine watched the black haired girl in front of her and seemed to remember something.
"Have we met before?"
Nadine's question made the casual-looking woman in front of her confused.
"Ellen Rogers?"
Adrian's voice made Nadine turn and find Adrian walking towards her with a smile that wasn't for her but at someone next to her.
"Ellen Rogers."
