'AM I CLEAR'

Deep inside the forest, the rustling of leaves could be heard. Four Shades were spying on the house that Raine and Eclipse entered. "So this is where she lives. Things are going to be more interesting now.", one of them said. They retreated into the forest when they saw the Aquilla Silverback and his second-in-command returning. They had already gotten the information they needed so there was no reason for them to keep on spying.

Jesse and Beast were walking into the forest when Jesse felt a dark presence. Older Shades can suppress their power but another being stronger than the Shade itself can sense their presence whether they suppress their aura or not. Beast was not strong enough to sense their presence but Jesse was. Out of all the Aquilla gorilla shifters, only Jesse, Alexander, Arielle and another shifter named Madison can sense the suppressed aura of a Shade. This just goes to show how powerful these four shifters are.

Jesse stopped walking and Beast knew that he could sense something he could not. "What is it Jesse?", he asked. Jesse answered by saying, "Shades. They were here. So close to Eclipse's house. It's not safe for them to be alone. There should be a routine put in place. At least four shifters should keep watch on them morning, noon and night. I don't want anything to happen to her, am I clear?". At this point, Beast could sense a powerful aura coming from Jesse and he knew that the Silverback was speaking and not Jesse.

Further proving his observation, Jesse turned and Beast could see the flames in Jesse's red eyes. "Yes Silver. Everything will happen as you wish". The two shifters proceeded into the forest.

BLOOD FANG VAMPIRE HOUSE...

Vlad Dracula was seated on his throne designed with carvings of fangs dripping with blood and skulls. Another Vampire with neck-length blonde hair, pink lips, blood red eyes, pale skin and a tall muscular body was standing in front of him.

Dracula laughed, his voice deep and intimidating. "So little Silverback sent his mate packing on the first day, although for a different reason from mine. She is in so much danger now. Young beasts can be impulsive and naive."

"Father, as we speak, second level shifters are standing guard near that house. They're partially shifted. You know that this condition is worse than them being fully shifted. I suggest we stand back for now, until they lower their guards."

Although Dracula felt insulted by what his son, Danilo was saying, he knew it was true. If they wanted to attack, they would have to send first level vampires because a gorilla shifter in a partially shifted form is a force to stay clear of, and now there were four of them. He didn't plan on going to fight because he recently woke up from his slumber and wasn't at his full strength and ability now. "Son I agree with you. Soon, we will be strong enough to carry out our plan. Let's leave it for now."

Danilo nodded and left the room.
