Raine started recounting what happened. How she met Alexander in the hallway and followed him out and encountered the Shades and how Alexander saved her. After hearing what Raine said, Jesse said, "The both of you will have to listen to me carefully. If you ever come across The Shades, don't run and try your best to suppress your fear even if you see them in their true forms. Yes Raine, their true forms are not as you described. Their more scary and hideous. I will try my best to keep you both away from them but in case you encounter them in the future, don't forget my instructions".

At that point, Eclipse was pale white due to shock and fear. She started contemplating whether to go home or bring her granny and Maui to stay in the forest with them instead. With that, they all started their journey out of the forest. On their way, Eclipse and Raine could hear the giggling sounds again which meant that the Shades were around. They decided to calm their beating hearts down and get rid of their fear. It seemed that the creatures could perceive fear.

The girls heard all sorts of scary sounds but were gradually getting used to them. They decided that they wouldn't be afraid of anything as long as Beast and Jesse were with them. Finally, they reached the entrance of the forest and met with that neon blue wall again. Raine and Eclipse were worried about how they would exit the forest with this wall blocking their paths. They didn't have to think much again because Jesse grabbed Eclipse's hand and Beast did same to Raine and stepped out of the forest.

Eclipse had a confused look on her face. Jesse chuckled and answered her unspoken question, "Once you step into the forest you can't leave unless you mate with one of the beings of the forest or unless you leave the forest like we did just now. I held your hand and you were able to leave". Eclipse and Raine understood what he was saying. Raine turned to the shifters and said, "We can go from here on our own". But Jesse wasn't having any of it. He followed them to their houses to make sure they were safe.

Once they reached Eclipse's small house, he reminded her to always come to the forest whenever he called for her or she would be punished. For some reason, Eclipse turned red while wondering what kind of punishment he was talking about. She had a feeling that it wasn't normal punishment. Seeing her blush, Jesse decided to tease her, "I see, you know what kind of punishment I'm talking about". He proceeded to kiss her neck and Raine turned her head and suddenly found the trees very interesting.

Beast was staring at his feet. Seeing that Raine and Beast were doing anything but looking at them, she blushed harder and pushed Jesse away. "Raine you can stop looking at the trees now, let's go". The girls entered Eclipse's house and slammed the door shut. Jesse smirked and left with Beast. Eclipse's heart was still racing and soon her granny and Maui came to the door to see if they were back.

They looked so worried. Maui asked them, "Where have you girls been? Aunt and I have been so worried. You both left only a note behind and disappeared since morning. Have you eaten? Are you okay?". Maui asked so many questions at once. Raine laughed and said, "Mom, don't worry. We're fine. We went to Elora to work." Maui then realized that they were looking clean and beautiful and they wore expensive clothes and makeup and they smelled nice.

Maui was sniffing around like a dog which made Raine, Eclipse and Daisy laugh so hard. This made Maui turn red and she stopped what she was doing. Raine proceeded with her lies, "At Elora, we worked for a family that had a teenage daughter. She gave us these clothes and cleaned us up. They're really nice people". Maui and Daisy had no choice but to believe what Raine said. With that, they all went inside and the girls changed out of their expensive clothes into cheap nightwear. They wiped off the makeup and they all went to sleep.
