Building a Guild in a Fiction World using my Gamer System

Waking up in a fictional world where different movies combined to form a gigantic world of a sort. How would an ordinary guy become the strongest entity? By building a guild, of course. This is a harem novel so before anyone complains, I'll just put it out there. The harem isn't that large and is slow going. Movies include: Marvel, DC, John Wick, Fast and Furious Saga and so on.

Emotions.

"He might be a coward but it's good to see that he can keep up with his bets."

Bruce said as he saw Suki outside his hotel with the driver's car that he had won the night before with the bet.

"It's decent enough, not as good as mine but it will work for now." Suki said, "I heard you wanted to upgrade your car?"

"Yeah, I figured some minor upgrades would do." Bruce said, "Let's head to Tej's workshop first and drop off my car."

"Sound good to me."

"I wonder if he can really do the job," Bruce said as they were driving away from Tej's garage leaving his car behind.

"He can be a little too much sometimes but he does his job well." Suki said, "But bulletproof really?"

"I mean, is it really that surprising?"

"I don't think anyone normal would want a bulletproof car unless they are ridiculously rich which I don't believe you are, government officials which don't even get me started on that topic, and shady people who are up to no good, which I definitely believe you are,' Suki said,

"Damn, do you really enjoy hurting my feeling or something, and for someone who knows that I am up to no good, you sure like to hang out with me,"

"What can I say bad boys are my type," Suki smiled, "And besides I grew up around gangs and violence, so shit like these don't get to me much. How do you think I can afford to keep my car and the constant repairs?"

"I thought you just had some rich parents," Bruce said making a curious face, "What do you do?"

"I'll tell you once you tell me." Suki laughed, "So what's this thing about a job, that you want a whole crew for."

"I'll explain it to you once they have Brian in." Bruce said, "You can totally back out if you want to though."

With all the new developments in the situation, even if John Wick came here which Bruce was sure he would, things were bound to get complicated.

So now more than ever he was sure of getting some people involved, at least to handle the shipment part. With 40 highly trained veterans in the assassin world alongside Carter's guards, the total amount of enemies crossed a hundred.

So things were going to be tough, even if both he and John got together. Even though killing was part of his objective, so was getting the hard drive. So he needed a team.

"I am not the type to back out of things." Suki said with a bit of an attitude, "And I can already guess what the job is about and who you are."

"Oh, is that so?" Bruce chuckled, "Let's hear it then,"

"I went back home last night and wondered about how worse can your job really be. That you're so tight-lipped about it," Suki said, "You don't look like a psycho, so my guess is you work for a shady group and do their shady job."

"Good deduction! That's not far off." Bruce chuckled, "Turn left here, Sherlock."

"Haha! real funny." Suki faked laughed as she continued, "But the only thing I am not sure about is if the shady group is related with some government organization or something illegal."

"What if the things I do would be considered illegal?"

"Is it hurting someone innocent?" Suki replied with another question,

"No, they are definitely bad guys," Bruce replied,

"Then I don't care." Suki shrugged, "As for your job, last night with that woman that was on the sidelines, and the way you are always on the lookout, so I think you are targeting someone. So something like a hitman."

"Close enough," Bruce said,

Bruce kept a casual expression, but he was slightly relieved with how chill Suki was with his 'job' than he had expected her to be.

The thing with Suki was one of the most real feelings he had felt since coming to this world, it wasn't a quest nor was it a mission. He was doing something for the first time by his own volition.

He liked her, and like a little kid who had developed a crush on someone, he would find himself thinking about her now and then, and every day he would be expectant of meeting her again. After all, his mental age was still of someone who's 19.

Unlike most of the people in the continental, he hadn't thrown away his heart to become a mindless killing machine. And being alone for so long, all these feelings were bursting out kind of at once.

Even someone like John Wick fell in love and left the underworld scene, to be with the person he loved.

Bruce didn't know if John was ever honest about his past with his wife, but one thing was certain for him, he wouldn't lie.

Losing someone because you lied to them, or some misunderstanding was a shitty way for things to end. And he wasn't going to do that to anyone. Besides, with his system, he had to continue doing things that sometimes might not be completely ethical.

He didn't know if it helped, but he hadn't killed anyone innocent but he was a murderer nonetheless. Questions like would she accept me and would anyone accept me were popping in his head now and again when he thought about being with someone.

After all, this was real life and not a movie, where the hero always gets the girl regardless of how many crimes he commits as long as they plastered the title of hero and justice onto them.

It might sound somewhat pathetic or that he was being a bit too dramatic, but that was life. Everyone wanted to love and be loved, everyone wanted to be accepted.

Suki was full of adventures and crazy enough to do anything, and her carefree attitude was the most attractive part of her personality.

He was gaining a sense of reality with her, and this world that he had been treating like a bad dream was finally feeling real as his emotions were getting real.

A/N:- So this chapter focuses more on his mindset and emotions, which aligns with the interest of this arc, which is changes.

This whole arc is about him going from someone he couldn't recognize to being himself and this is part of it.

I haven't seen a lot of fic where they delve into emotions, since most of the time it always is about this OP character just destroying everything. But I believe what makes a character great is their vulnerabilities which puts depths into the character.

So I hope you like the chapter.
