04 Senpai

"Yo, new student?" The man smiled as he asked.

"Yeah." Sai answered.

"I am Hirako Shinji. 5th year. You can call me Shinji senpai." Shinji grinned.

Sai on the other hand, stared at Shinji face.

'Shinji? Still in shino academy?' Sai was surprised in his thoughts to find one of the bigshot characters, who was still in training.

Seeing Sai staring at him blankly, Shinji spoke again."Hey?"

"Err. S-sorry. I am Sai. Nosaku Sai. First year, second class." Sai sat up and introduced himself.

"Second class? Hmmm. How amusing. I got this feeling that you are not suppose to be in that class." Shinji commented as he looked up and down on Sai's figure.

"What are you talking about. You think that Shino school made that kind of mistake?" Another voice come out behind Shinji.

Sai peeked and saw two figures move towards them. A girl with a spectacle and another short person walked beside her. Sai recognised them at a glance. Lisa and Hiyori.

"Stupid baldy, if there is any mistake, it was your brain." Hiyori flew with a flying kick towards Shinji.

"Damn it. What are you kicking me for? It's just a feeling. Can't I feel what I want?" Shinji pushed away the feet from his face.

"You can feel what you want. The expression is wrong." Lisa spoke as she touched her spectacle.

"Tch. Anyways, this Lisa and that shorty is Hiyori." Shinji introduced them to Sai.

"I am Sai. First year. Nice to meet you senpai." Sai reintroduced himself again.

"Yadomaru Lisa."

"Saguraki Hiyori."

"Hiyori. A name of a princess that I know." Sai suddenly commented out of nowhere.

Three of them were stunned by the sudden comment.

"See. That how you should treat a girl." Hiyori kicked Shinji in embarrassement.

"Tch. Are you really a girl?" Shinji refuted.

"What do you mean baldy? Why am I not a girl?" Hiyori was flared by Shinji's comment.

"Chopping board." Shinji gave a short answer.

"Bastard!" Hiyori was greatly offended and attacked Shinji.

Lisa and Sai watched them.

"Is that really okay?" Sai asked as he pointed towards them.

"Don't worry about them. They are always like that." Lisa said.

"Umm..." Sai turned to Lisa and looked to her face

"What?" Lisa felt uncomfortable with the look.

"I'm just wondering, why are you wearing a spectacle? Does souls get myopic too?" Sai asked.

"I don't think so. In my case, it just my habits of wearing one. My eyes had no problem without it." Lisa answered.

"So, it is just a habit from past life huh." Sai thought of one person as he talked to Lisa.

"Say, Sai. What grade did you have during the registration?" After giving her answer, she asked Sai.

"Me? Great Spiritual Power." Sai answered.

"What?!" Shinji and Hiyori stopped their fight when those words came out of his mouth.

"With Chaotic nature." Before anyone can asked. Sai added one more information.

"Hiss. No wonder I had that feeling. Great Spiritual Power. The chaotic nature. As far as I know, only two persons ever had this nature and reached great power.

The chief of Gotei 13, Chief Yamamoto and the current Kenpachi. Keep it up dude. Maybe you could be the next one." Shinji spoke.

"If I can control it." Sai said as he scratched his head.

"You surely would. My guts told so." Shinji grinned and said.

"Enough with your guts. I'm hungry. Let's go and look for some food." Hiyori destroyed the good atmosphere.

Lisa immediately followed Hiyori in her steps.

"Coming with us?" Shinji invited Sai.

"Stupid Baldy. He is on his first day and we are eating outside. Don't you get it?" Hiyori shouted.

"Maybe next time senpai. I got class right after lunch." Sai immediately understood what Hiyori meant when he heard that they were eating outside.

Eating outside the school meant that he would be late for his next class. As for his senior, Sai surely they had some leverages to do so as they are two more years behind their graduation.

"See ya." Hearing the answer, Shinji bid his farewell and left with Hiyori and Lisa.

"Oh crap. My nap!" Looking at the clock Sai curse as his nap time was over.

Walking a field, Sai found his classmates. He sat beside one of them and waited for the teacher.

The first lesson of the day was supposed to be a reiatsu lesson.

A few minutes later, an old shinigami came to the field.

"Who's the representative of this class? Is everyone here?" As he stood in front of the students, he asked.

"Greetings sir. I'm the representative of the class, Yamamura Sato. Everyone is here." Sato stood up and reported.

"Good. I'm your reiatsu instructor Yuba Akira. For this first class, I'll teach you the basics of the basics as shinigami. Reiryoku." Akira started his lecture.

That evening, Sai learned the importance of reiryoku for his future job as shinigami. On the first lesson, the teacher about the wide use of reiryoku especially for their next class such as Hoho and Kido which attached to the importance of reiryoku for their lesson.

After that he learned how to sense them. And then, the suppose to be the hardest part as Chaotic Nature user, the control of his reiryoku.
