Chapter 248 There was nothing he could do

He nodded in agreement. If Ichigo didn't react to them, it meant that they were likely harmless to humans, but Kagaya couldn't shake off the feeling of unease about these mysterious entities lurking in the shadows.

He decided to ask Ichigo directly after he finished instructing Hashira for the day.

Ichigo knew about the mysterious entities. They were spirits that he could see and communicate with.

This world didn't have a soul king, but he didn't know if they had other beings that governed over souls or not.

Ichigo decided to check it out after this. He didn't have to do much. He had authority over the soul, and he could open a door to the soul society if this world had one.

Ichigo heard a sweet voice. He looked back and found that Nezuko and Tanjirou had come. Nezuko wasn't in her small girl appearance anymore.

She had developed over night and was now a beautiful young woman.

"Ichigo-sama, we come to serve you!"

Tanjirou swore that he would repay him. He decided to become his servant. He was very determined to show his gratitude for the help Ichigo had provided.

Tanjirou knew that he would do anything to protect and support Ichigo in any way possible.

Ichigo shook his head and said,

"There is no need for that. I already have enough people to serve me."

Ichigo looked at Kanae, Shinobu, and even Hinaki. The three of them served him really well. If there were more, he believed it would be very hard for him to leave this world.

"Me—Serve—Ichigo-nii-san as well!"

Nezuko also wanted in. He had a soft spot for little sisters, so it was very hard to refuse her. Tanjirou smiled and said to him, At least let Nezuko serve him.

Ichigo wanted to refuse, but Nezuko was already in tears. She thought that he wanted to abandon her.
