"Then let us go with you, Ichigo-sama. Please don't deny us, as we want to serve you."

Kanae said. If it were them, then they could catch up with his speed somehow. Ichigo thought about it. Kanae, Shinobu were alright, but Hinaki and Nezuko were not.

"Kanae and Shinobu, come with me but Hinaki and Nezuko, please stay here."

Both Hinaki and Nezuko heard that, and they wanted to ask why they could not go with him. Ichigo answered them with logical reasons.

"It is because the two of you are not fast enough to catch up on me. You two have to train yourself first."

Nezuko was actually fast enough to not be left behind by him if he moved normally. However, she was still not fully recovered yet. As for Hinaki, her racial trait wasn't physically strong, so she had a long way before she could catch up to Nezuko in speed.

Ichigo left Ubuyashiki's estate with Kanae and Shinobu. Shinobu didn't have to wear a mask, but Kanae, Ichigo asked her to do so.

"Please go that way. Ichigo-sama, that direction is where the city is located."

Shinobu said.

Ichigo nodded his head, and they headed that way with speed. Normally, it would take two or three days to reach Kyoto by carriage, but with their enhanced abilities, they were able to make the journey in just a few hours.

As they approached the city, Ichigo couldn't help but feel curious if the old Kyoto would look like the Yokai faction's capital city or not.

Shinobu said while looking around in amazement. Kanae also felt the same. Even when she was just a ghost.

She had never seen Yokai and just saw them as normal humans. But now she had Ichigo soul energy inside her.

She could see through their facade easily.

"I—Isn't that Kojou Shinobu, the demon slayer. How could she become Yokai?"

One of the Yokai saw Shinobu. He knew about her. The last time he met her, she was just a human with a strong body.

But she was one of them. He became fearful of her, as he didn't know if she would kill him for being Yokai or not.

"You, I know you. You are the herb seller that always comes to us to sell precious herbs."

Shinobu remembered him. Normally, he would disguise himself as a human, but now he had his ear and tail out. He was Tanuki Yokai.

He wanted to run away, but he was captured by Shinobu first.

"Ara, please don't run away. I meant you no harm. As you can see, I am a Yokai like you."

Shinobu didn't intend to hurt him, and she even felt grateful to him as the herbs he sold her at a cheap price had helped many people before.

"Really, you are not going to kill us?"

"Why should I?"

"You are a demon slayer, are you not?"

Shinobu looked at Ichigo, and when the Tanuki Yokai saw him, he almost sh*t his pants. He felt primal fear just by looking at him.

"W—What are you?!"

Ichigo didn't blame him. Even he didn't know what he was.

Ichigo said to Shinobu that he didn't need any help. He would go around to check if there were hollows or not.

Hollows ate human souls, so he might find one if he looked around carefully.
