Chapter 236 Heal Nezuko

Tanjirou, when he heard that Ichigo could cure his little sister, immediately kneeled down in front of him. 

He became a demon slayer because he wanted to find a way to cure her. And now there was someone who had a way to help her. He would never let this chance go, no matter what.

He would do everything he could to get his help.

"Please, help Nezuko. I will do everything to repay you, my lord!" Tanjirou said that and kowtowed to him. He even banged his head on the ground to show his sincerity. 

Ichigo looked at him. He was also a brother so he knew how he felt. 

"Don't worry, curing her isn't that difficult since she isn't fully transformed. However, it might take some time before she regains her sense of self."

Nezuko was like the old him in some ways. She lost most of her emotions when she was transformed into a demon.

Tanjirou felt very thankful. He vowed to do everything in his power to repay him if he could bring Nezuko back.

"Let's help her, shall we, Hana-chan?" Ichigo called Hana from his inner world.

Hana appeared and nodded at Ichigo cutely. 

"Okay, Papa." She said it with a smile. She wanted to help Ichigo very much.

Every Hashira, when they saw her, felt calm and stopped struggling to break free from Ichigo's bakudo. They had never seen a spirit before.

Especially Shinobu, she could smell poison from her. However, the poison that Hana emitted was different from normal. It was a sweet fragrance that made Shinobu feel at ease. 

'She must be a demon with poison power.' Normal people didn't know the existence of spirits or Yokai. So it was understandable that she would think that Hana was a demon.

But how could a demon be this cute?

Hana's presence seemed to have a soothing effect on everyone around her, even the most hardened Hashira. 

'S—so adorable.' They thought the same thing as Shinobu.

Ichigo employed Tokubetsu no Bakudo (special sealing art) and Tokubetsu no Kaido (special healing art) that he created with the help of Hana. 

He sealed the demon aspect and promoted the recovery of the human aspect. 

He didn't get rid of the demon aspect inside her. Intead, he purified it and made it mix with her human aspect. With this, a new aspect would be created. 

She won't be afraid of the sun, nor will she need human blood to sustain herself. She will now be able to live freely without any limitations.

Unfortunately, Nezuko didn't have Yokai blood in her. Otherwise, she would be much stronger than this.

Nezuko looked at Ichigo, and then, with a bright smile, she hugged him and clung to him. She could tell that Ichigo had helped her, but she didn't know how to express herself, so she hugged him instead.

"A—riga—to"

Nezuko tried to speak, but her words were still slurred. 

Hana felt jealous that Nezuko hugged her papa, but she let it slide. She knew that Nezuko was still unwell after the treatment.

Ichigo just patted her head, and then he looked at all of the Hashira. They were now stunned by what he just did.

"As you can see, I have the power to turn demons back into humans. However, not every demon would want to turn back. For those who refuse to change, I will get rid of them, but if I find any demons that can be saved, I will do my best to help them. If you have any problems, feel free to challenge me." Ichigo said it with an authoritative voice.

He knew that they hated demons, but he also believed that not all demons were bad. He could believe that some demons might be forced to do things that they didn't want to.

Nezuko was the proof of that. She didn't want to be a demon herself. Someone must have changed her into one.

Everyone didn't say anything, as Ichigo was extremely strong. They couldn't even move as they were sealed with his spell. And even if they were to get out of the spell, they wouldn't last a single breath before they were beaten.

Tanjirou was very happy. Nezuko had been cured of her demon transformation. Now she could speak and show a little bit of her emotion.

"Nezuko, let go of his lordship. His lordship might need some space after healing you," Tanjirou said gently, trying to make his sister let go of Ichigo. 

Nezuko hesitated for a moment before she shook her head and hugged Ichigo tighter. It wasn't like she didn't want to listen to her brother but.

"H—eal—be—tter."

Nezuko was doing her best to communicate. Ichigo listened to her carefully, and then he understood.

He checked her body, and he was very surprised.

"Nezuko is trying to absorb my soul energy to heal herself. How interesting. To think I accidentally made her a Shinigami."

This was the first time he turned a half transformed demon back into a human. He didn't think that her soul would absorb his soul energy when he used his powers to heal her.

"S—Shinigami" Everyone heard that and was shocked.

Ichigo looked at them and remembered that they might not know anything about Shinigami. To them, he should be some kind of god.

'Well, I am a god, even though I am a low-tier god. A god is still a god. So they are not wrong if they think like that.' Ichigo chuckled to himself at the thought, knowing that his powers as a Shinigami were far from divine.
