Fighting The First

"Uh...." Yamamoto was clueless on how to explain this to Karin and Yuzu as simply as possible.

Ichigo walked over. "Promise not to get mad okay? Goat Chin was a Captain of the Gotei 13. He met Mom during his time as a Captain. Some things happened and he lost his powers along with mom. They got married and had us. He regained his powers about a few months ago." Ichigo simplified the process. Yamamoto nodded feeling very impressed.

'He is good with children. He may be wild in certain areas, but thankfully he isn't a delinquent meathead like that fool Isshin.' Yamamoto thought to himself. Karin and Yuzu frowned.

"So... He's been hiding all of this from us? Mom too? I knew we got our respective powers from them but I didn't know Goat Chin had such a dramatic past like this." Karin muttered while looking at the Gotei 13. Toshiro and Rangiku reluctantly walked up towards them.

"Ah. Speak of the devil. Meet Toshiro Hitsugaya and Rangiku Matsumoto. Toshiro was the third seat and Rangiku was the lieutenant when Goat Chin was the captain of their division. Toshiro is now the captain while Rangiku still has the same position." Ichigo introduced them. Toshiro nodded at them while Rangiku smiled warmly at them.

" Looks like Ichigo raised all of you well, you two act like him in some ways. " Rangiku crouched down and smiled at them. Yuzu looked at Ichigo.

" Ichi-nii. Is she one of your girlfriends? " Yuzu asked innocently. Ichigo and Rangiku blushed.

"Umm.... No.... Not yet...." Ichigo whispered the last part, but it was just loud enough for them to hear. Karin snorted.

"Ahhh? Me? Getting a boyfriend? Oh please, like that'll ever happen!" Rangiku waved the question off with a blush on her face.

"You let him squeeze your ass that one time, Rangiku. That doesn't help your statement you know." Toshiro smirked at his lieutenant. Rangiku pouted at him.

" That's because I was caught off guard! You're so mean, Toshiro! " Rangiku huffed childishly and crossed her arms, raising up her boobs a little. Ichigo was staring at her boobs intently. He didn't know if she was doing it on purpose and he didn't care either.

Yamamoto chuckled. "They get along just fine." He muttered to himself. He looked at the rest of the Gotei 13 who resumed talking amongst each other.

" Ahem!! " Yamamoto cleared his throat and slammed his cane onto the ground, getting everyone's attention. Rangiku stood up straight.

" We are here because Captain Kuchiki has invited us and the lieutenants to spar against each other. Who wants to go first? " Yamamoto looked at everyone. Ichigo raised his hand.

"Ah yes! Of course. Ichigo. Come here." Yamamoto waved his hand doing a motion that signalled him to stand beside him. Karin and Yuzu were watching with curiosity in their eyes.

"Ichigo. Choose your opponent." Yamamoto ordered him. Ichigo smirked. He looked around the group of captains and lieutenants.

He finally laid his gaze on Unohana who was smiling sweetly at him. He grinned psychotically.

"Retsu. I choose you." Ichigo pointed at him. Some of the captains and lieutenants were outraged. Zaraki laughed loudly.

"What!? Captain Unohana's a pacifist! " Soifon argued with him.

"Do you want to get hit in the head huh!? " Nanao raised her thick book on her hands. Toshiro and Komamura were shocked at Ichigo's choice but they didn't voice their outrage.

"Are you sure about your choice, Ichigo?" Yamamoto narrowed his eyes at him. Ichigo looked at him.

"Why are you so worried, gramps?" Ichigo whispered. Yamamoto leaned closer to him.

"It's not that I'm worried. I'm worried about the reactions of the people that do not know of her true origins will have. Especially lieutenant Kotetsu's reaction. " Yamamoto whispered. Ichigo frowned.

" You guys have been betrayed by three captains. I'm sure a captain showing her psycho side won't damage them too much." Ichigo replied to him.

" You overestimate lieutenant Kotetsu's mental capabilities, brat. Sure, you can fight her. No kill shots obviously. No Shikai or Bankai for you because some of us would faint from the pressure. " Yamamoto whispered before patting him on the back.

" Yachiru! You're up! " Yamamoto ordered Unohana. Unohana nodded with a serious face on. Isane widened her eyes.

'Wait! She's actually agreeing with this! This isn't right! She's going to be killed!' Isane panicked in her mind. Toshiro narrowed his eyes.

'Yachiru? Isn't that lieutenant Kusajishi's name? Or.... Is Retsu even her real name at all?' Toshiro looked at Zaraki. Zaraki was grinning madly while little Yachiru who was sitting on his shoulder was giggling hysterically.

"Captain Zaraki. You don't seem to be surprised." Shunsui voiced Toshiro's question unknowingly.

"Why should I gay boy?! I've known her for a long time! I fought her when I was a child for fuck sakes!" Zaraki revealed loudly, shocking those who were clueless about Unohana's past.

"And did you win?" Toshiro asked him. Zaraki laughed. Unohana fully undid her hairstyle and her hair gently flowed down to her ankles.

"I lost! Ha! But you see that scar on her collarbone there? I gave her that scar!" Zaraki pointed at Unohana's scar, shocking them again.

"Captain.... " Isane whispered getting scared when she looked at Unohana's gloomy and menacing demeanor.

"Ara~ Ichigo~. It seems we are able to fight again. " Unohana muttered with a menacing smirk on her face. Ichigo smirked back.

" Let this spar begin! " Yamamoto declared before jumping back to the group of Shinigami.

Unohana unsheathed Minazuki, her Zanpakutō. In it's sealed form, Minazuki is slightly longer than an ordinary katana, and resembles a nodachi.

The tsuba has an oval shape, and the handle is red. Instead of tying it to her obi, Unohana carries her Zanpakutō over her shoulder by a rope strap in "Tachi style", or lets Isane carry it for her.

Unohana stared at Ichigo menacingly." Ichigo. I suggest you take out one of your claymores for this, or else I'm going to cut you into pieces before you can even do that." Unohana ordered him calmly. Ichigo smiled and did what he was told.

But as he was unsheathing one of his claymores, Unohana threw several knives at him in a single swipe of her hand.

Ichigo widened his eyes and raised his left hand. The knives bounced off his hand. Unohana appeared in front of him in a flash.

Ichigo clashed swords with her. The Reiatsu pressure they were emitting was making Karin and Yuzu breathed very heavily.

Unohana and Ichigo entered a sword fight. It was so fast that even Soifon only saw glimpses of their movements.

Isane was horrified. "What... What am I watching? Is this who Captain Unohana truly is? " She asked herself. Ukitake who was standing beside her nodded grimly.

" Yes. I'm sorry to say but this woman you are seeing here is not the kind and caring Retsu Unohana anymore. This is... Yachiru Unohana, the violent, the brutal, the cold-blooded and the bloodthirsty one. This woman... was the First Kenpachi of the 11th Division.....
