Chapter 17: Goblins

Once they all climbed up the tree to a branch all 3 of them were out of breath.

"Im surprised you are alive, Thank you for saving me!" said Firely.

"Barely, Barely. That was risky. Thankfully my gear is a little better than a average persons gear." said Broken Fire.

"Must of cost a fortune buying all that gear, I don't know how you pulled that off that quick" said Firely Sunset. 

"Just lucky, very lucky to have a friend to rely on" Broken Fire said humbly.

Peaking over the bushes Firely saw a group of goblins huddled around what looked like a small wood statue. 

"This leaf we are on the tree is quite small. Im pretty sure these goblins are the only enemies here."- said Firely Sunset.

"He poke and bomp these little guys and we get money right?" said Glade Parp.

Broken Fire just looked at the two of them amused.

"Yes sister" said Firely grumbly but staring excitedly at the goblins.

"Theres one for each of us, so we tell take them down together and all at once if thats okay with you Broken" said Firely.

"On your mark" said Broken Fire.

"Go" said Firely.

As she said that she disappeared, completely vanished. 

"Cool ability" said Broken Fire, as both Broken Fire and Glade Parp rushed out the bushes, alerting the goblins.

In battle Broken Fire stabbed one of the goblins with the Longsword ability Shredder. Once that sword was inserted, Broken Fire ran around the goblin while observing the other party members.

Firely appeared briefly behind a goblin and sliced at the goblins neck with a slash. 

From the view it incapacitated the goblin and blood pored excessively onto the floor.

The person that struggled the most was Glade. She kept bonking the goblin and running around while getting attacked and healing herself. 

Eventually Firely couldn't watch anymore and ran over and slashed at the goblin, helping kill it faster and eventually it fell too. 

"I got the final hit!" said Glade.

Overall on the floor was 30 copper coins and a dirty brown broken chest where the goblins were. 

"Well done, even with some fun involved" said Broken Fire.

"Don't Judge me! I am a Cleric not a Swordsman like you! You even looked like you did the same thing as me, but just somehow killed it humph!" said Glade

"I also got a chest to drop!" said Glade.

As she said that she reaching out to the chest and opened it revealing a old wooden bat and a regular looking stone with a rune engraving in it. 

"That was a interesting ability Sunset, does that weapon make a monster bleed?" said Broken Fire as Glade was opening the chest.

"Yes it does, it does 50 damage over 10 seconds, killing a level 5 like these goblins with ease. Something similar to that sword you have no doubt right?" said Firely Sunset.

"Yes yes, you can say that" said Broken Fire smiling. 

"We'll split the loot evenly, 10 copper each. We get the bat and you can have the stone, brother " said Glade.

"A bit unfair don't you say?" said Broken Fire as he retrieved the stone from Glade putting it into his pocket without looking at it. 

"We have two people and your one person so consider it even, plus our luck is good" said Firely Sunset

"Don't argue, Don't argue!" said Glade Parp.

"Be nice to each other!" she said as Glade put her small blonde headed body in-between the 2 people that started a small passive aggressive argument. 

"Okay but to compensate, can I observe your dagger for a minute" said Broken Fire as he pointed to her hilt.

"I see why not, Just dont steal it or I will hunt you down", she said while spinning the dagger in hand, handing him her dagger.

Observing the dagger Broken Fire by brushing his hand over it he saw:

Unique Ability: Bleed(500 damage over 10 seconds, Cooldown 30 seconds, "If they cant bleed, they shall see their blood for the first time")
