Thandeka Zulu has always been in love with Scott James, the most beautiful boy in the school. She has been smitten since the day she first laid eyes on him on her first day of her High School career, but Scott has always been just out reach and the fact that he is dating a girl who happens to be friends with Thandeka does not help matters.
But it's Thandeka's last year in High School, Scott is suddenly paying Thandeka a little attention. Is this the year that Scott leaves his beautiful girlfriend(Ha! Likely) and Thandeka finally gets the guy?

I am shaking. Something really weird just happened.
I was walking into English class, and I grabbed the third desk on the first row, and Billie chose the desk behind me, I didn't even think to pay attention about who was in the desk in front of me, so i felt free to belt out Rihanna's song " Shut up and Drive" while i was unpacking my books and pencil case from my bag. Then this voice, the only voice that makes my knees go weak and my jaw slack says " who is singing?"
I look up, and my brown eyes meet his blue eyes. Scott James. The boy who had launched many lady boners all over our school. The boy who was in a committed relationship with his girl since Grade 8 (and you couldn't even hate the girl because she was nice. Hell, she was even a friend.) And I was hopelessy, completely and madly in love with him. And the whole damn school knew.
For some reason, I could never form a coherent sentence when I was in his presence. I just stared at those eyes. I felt like I was drowning, I couldn't even tell you who i was, where I was from and what century it was- that's how lost I was in his eyes. Luckily Billie, who knows about my sickness for this boy answered for me.
"It was Thandi" She sounded smug.
His blue eyes were on Billie while she was talking, but when she said my name, he rested them back on me. My heart, my poor heart. I felt like It would burst forth from my chest.
"It sounded really nice" He said softly.
I was finished.
