" Twenty thousand !! ,that's my income of 2 months ,what do you even need this much money for ?." I said in an annoying tone .
"I lost everything in gambling and now I am in a debt" he said with a shameless smile. Damn this man is getting comfortable with me day by day. Different thoughts ran in to my mind to make his event most useful.
" Sure why not ,I can give you the money and you don't have to return it but in one condition "
"Go on brat ,say what you want "
" You have to teach me your KI thing and train in your sword arts" I said .I took a gamble here ,KI was his technique and I don't know whether he would teach someone outside his squad.
"You sure you want to be trained by me ? "
" Yes "
"Why not kid be sure to survive. Bring the money tomorrow here , I would take you to my base and train you there but you cant quit before I satisfied " . The distance from church to here and return usually takes about 2 days but with my flying speed it took 1 day. I informed sister and left with the money. Sister knew Yami so she was sure that I would be safe .
I could earn this amount again but the training was worth it . I took off with him in the direction of his base . The Black bulls base was located in one of the forests in the common region . The base was in shade of black and grey with block like structure. When I entered the base I was greeted with pure mayhem . Luck and Manga were constantly firing spells on each other and shouting . Charmy was eating cakes ,Gordon was in the corner muttering something to hard to comprehend , Finral being Finral was sitting in a corner covering his ears with a face worth noting. Now if I look closely Gordan has really scary creepy and Charmy exactly looked like a doll .
Yami used mana and smashed the nearby wall and shouted " Stop making noise or I will smash you next !! " this caused an immediate reaction and made them sit in a line ."He brat here is Julian , I made a deal with him .He would stay here for a while ,take care of him". He turned to me and said " I am going to pay off my debt ,I will train you from tomorrow " and went away leaving me alone with them.
I was quickly stuffed with lots of questions like how did I meet Yami ,what deal I make, was I strong ,do I like food etc . After answering all of them ,Magna showed me around the base and constantly muttering how great Yami was .He was surprised to know that I was from Hage with so mana , me being orphan cleared his confusion . He was grateful for the boar hunting I did. He was from a village more remote that Sosshi but he grew up there .
I was showed my room . Although the room had a bed , table and window it was filled with spiderwebs and dust .
I tasted Charmy's food and it was easily the best food I ever tasted ,I ended up eating a lot. Finral was busy asking me about girls about my neighborhood . I promised Luck a battle after dinner as he was constantly pestering me .I tried talking with Gordon and I only understood half of what he was speaking . I got along with black bulls pretty well .At night Yami returned and it was finally time for my battle with Luck .
Meanwhile at the Church
Sister Theresa was was watching the children play outside when she noticed an old woman approach her . Sister looked at her and said " What a pleasant surprise , I didn't expect the wizard King to visit me ."
The old lady put her finger on her lip and said " Hss ! don't say out loud , I ditched my work to come here "
" Lets talk inside " said sister as they entered the church . " You must want to know about Julian right , I heard that he met with Yami . " said sister .
Light enveloped the figure of the old woman as her body turned into a blond haired man , " Yes , I wanted to know more about Julian . "
