Really great job!! The author created a really good story and character, a big world where we learn with the MC without being overwelmed with too many info. And what I really like is that he was able to avoid every cliché without making it forced, everything is really fluid and natural. I really hope that this work will have the success it deserves.
This novel was quite interesting. It was quite unexpected at a particular point, after the plot had been developing for a while. You see I though they were going to go accomplish their goal, but they were actually just following along with their predetermined destiny. I was pleasantly surprised by the creativity of the author and the uniqueness of the characters. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. 11/10 would read again.
First 600 chapters tell a fantastic story. Good pacing with character and world developments. On the other hand, once you get to 1000+ It’s dragging on the story like a massive blue ball. Seems almost most like the author doesn’t want to progress anymore or the vision for the novel just nose dived into the abyss. For example, if there’s 6 enemies. There will be a chapter for each enemy. The fight is pretty much filler at this point. No need for 6 enemies to have a chapter and a half each. The fight has nothing related to drive the story forward, they’re just fodder enemy. You won’t remember them later and the story never talks about them again. It’s like ready an essay where they’re just filling in for word count. Lastly, it’s been over 1000 chapters and he “STILL” hasn’t reached god hood yet. He’s been on the lower plane for more than 1200 chapters now. The story is super slow pace at this point. Started off good but now it’s just crawling by. Probably another few hundred more years until he reaches the next level. BTW im currently 1226. He should’ve gone to the immortal lands after he absorbed all those raw laws and banished King Elbas.
Amazing it’s the first story were it feels like it could actually happen . Every part of it is feels real the story has allot of potential and the author is using it in a creative way And the more you read the more you see it’s uniqueness i am sure that any experienced reader will be happily surprised(I don’t mean that It’s a joke on wuxia ,its not ) I am giving it a 5 for up to chapter 404 If there is any changes I will updated the review in the comments
I may enjoy a cold and evil MC, but there are several problems: 1st this is way beyond, I’ve read untill chapter 233 and he was the worst person in the whole novel, he is a complete sociopath 2nd his personality is completely flat, he is like a robot, completely devoid of emotions, and incredibly boring. It gets tiring having a psycho MC if he never makes you laugh 3rd and most important: the MC can be a total sociopath, but when the author tries continuosly to justify his choices with some cheap logic and a ridiculous view of the world that can be easily destroyed by anyone with a bit of common sense... well... that’s when u break the limit, if u want a spycho MC fine, but don’t try to make readers take his side as if he could be justify. He can’t and his logic is ridiculous and full of holes. I could go on, but, honestly it’s not worth it. I just add a last thing: the system of the nobles doesn’t make any sense, there is no wolrd were it could work it’s completely idiotic. Even if 99.9% of nobles are complete idiot that decides to keep any resource and technique for themselves there is bound to be someone who does not, and this someone would easily gain power, since it’s been clearly shown that there are countless genius among common people and just providing them the techniques would easily surpass all other powers that have an extremely low number of members die to their idiotic system.
I'm not entirely sure if I like the MC's motivation and how he thinks about the world and not just the MC but the entire planet. But that's more just me and doesn't have anything with the story being bad. In fact despite not liking those motivations I still find the story to be rather pleasant and I highly look forward to where the story will go in the future. I don't really like the characters drives but the story would have to change a lot to change that and then the story might be worse off so I applaud the authors creativity in making the most out of the characters that we do have and making a fun world.
Probably a good choice of novel if you liked WMW since this novel is quite similar to it, The story revolves around the protagonist called "Noah balvan" and as you can guess from the title, He is evil beyond limits. He's what some would call a High-functioning sociopath and I personally don't deny it either but unlike what others are portraying him as he isn't really devoid of any emotions but just that he can ignore them when necessary. He can kill innocent people's if needed but doesn't mind doing good either if that benefits him, he has people he cares about and a girl he loves but they fall behind in value when in comparison to his ambition. Overall, he'd sacrifice his loving-mother if it allowed him to cultivate. The novel get's a 4.8 score from me due it's uniqueness.
This is the first cultivation based story I have read and I'm honestly surprised how well the cultivation system is set up. The story builds nicely to each climax or new level of power without using too much in the way of plot armor. The thoroughly explained pieces of the world are well defined but there is enough left to the imagination to feel imaginatively invested. Would recommend
After reading for a long while, I want to honestly show my opinion. The novel is, in total, near perfection in regards to what it advertises. While in other novels, a ruthless MC, or a unfair power struggle is a negative, that only holds true if the other novel as not advertised as such. The frontpage of this novel shows very clearly what you need to expect. - ruthless MC - Cultivation Point 1 may be a negative in other novels, it holds not true for this one. It was advertised at the beginning, and if people complain about this, then they should have paid more attention. If someone gives a low rating for the reason that the MC is ruthless, even though it was CLEARLY advertised, then why have they even started reading? The readers should know what they like, and what they don't like. The flow of the story is, what I would call, necessary, which is a strange adjective for "flow of the story." Yet, the word necessary shows the the balance between "overdescribing" and "underdescribing" in the sense of characters. Some may complain about "one dimensional characters", yet that only holds true for the very early chapters, and only because it is necessary. Complexity of a character must be shown to "exist", and showing the complexity of a character takes up time for the story. If, for example, you spent multiple chapters in the beginning to flesh out all your side characters, most readers will get bored with the main-story and say "This is a story about the MC, and not about all those others." The story is already very long, and will get even longer. Length may be a positive for many readers, but if it gets too long, it will start to be a detriment. Many people say "1500 chapters? Long, but I like long books!" while the same ones would also say "3000 chapters? How can you keep such a long book interesting?" So in order to fit a very long conceptual story into an "attractive" range, you need to cut corners SOMEWHERE. Spending chapters just to flesh out side-characters that will be unimportant a couple chapters down the line is a very good way to shorten the story and keep it more "essential". Too much description of side characters can quickly feel like filler if the MC is not advancing quickly enough on the side. The only bad thing I could say about this novel, is that, at the beginning, the people in power are not black and white, but only black. At least SOMEONE in power should hold different ideals to the others, just to create a contrast. Though, this could be attributed to the MCs bad luck in only running into those. If that were the case, then a couple comments in the story like "Not everyone had this cold outlook on power. Person A was a good example, but Person A couldn't change the majority, so they were helpless in this matter. Sadly, the MC never had the luck to meet those few who would have wholeheartedly helped him." there is always contrast in the world, even in one as dark as this. If the contrast exists, then it must be shown, or else it "does not exist" to the reader. TL;dr: One of my favorite Novels, ever. 4.8 Stars
I haven't read your novel and this review is just to give this upstart novel a little push. You haven't mentioned many things in your summery or using tags regarding the novel. What genre of novel is it ? Will it have romance, harem, mystery, or action ? How would it be different from cliche novels ? All the best !
A well writen story so far. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Mc earn everything through his own strength and efforts, that what I like most about this novel, I was tired of author giving some type of cheats to an ex life wimp mc and he started acting all arrogant because of mercy of who knows some God like entity. And also author true to his own word mc is not antihero but a villain. Don't know why some people are complaining where it is clearly written villain mc, Don't read it if u dont like this genre. 6/5, this novel was really a good find for me
