BEWITCHED BY THE SCHOOL CHARMER

She embodied sensuality and undeniable charm that no man or woman could deny. Whether they were upright or bent, everyone's gaze was pulled to her. Her smile, frown, and every slight movement she made were enough to affect one’s mentality for the whole day. She was the charmer who was appointed and recognized by everyone in the school, whether they were teachers or students. She was that popular. In this charmer's world, there was no such thing as love. Love was a disease that perverted people's minds and led them astray, and she didn't want to live in such a world. But everything changed when he unexpectedly marched into her life, surprising her. Forcing her to break down the barriers she had up for more than two decades. He was the only one who was present. And he wasn't afraid to take what he wanted since he had the means. For him, being in love was a waste of time, and being faithful to one person was not his strong suit. Why bother investing in a single tree when he could own the entire forest? And when he saw her, his life was turned upside down. For him, it was love at first sight. He disliked it at first but eventually came to respect and like it. This sensation was novel to him and seemed unreal. He was completely in love with her, but her defenses were far too high and strong for him to break through. Will this prince charming and playboy from another school be able to captivate and seduce the school charmer? Will she be able to tear down the barriers she had built to allow him entry into her world, or will she continue to keep him at a distance?

CHAPTER 20: DO YOU REGRET IT?

"Haaaa! I am going crazy here!" Yuka shrieked as she paced up and down.

Looking at the love of his life literally acting like a banshee, something that scared him whenever she was acting like that. Tristan just wanted to leave the room and get some fresh air outside.

But recalling how wild she could get if he was to do that; he decided to be a good boy and patiently wait for her tantrum to end first before doing something else.

And how long had the two of them been together?

Honestly, it was something that unexpectedly happened. He never thought that in his life, he would be able to get that intimate with her. Or become her boyfriend on that matter.

Just like how he and Owen used to be like water and fire. The same was true for Yuka and Mirabel.

Tristan and Mirabel attended the same school, and they were both the leaders of their respective gangs.

And their greatest enemies happened to be Owen and Yuka, who were from another school. Both their schools had history and long-lasting grudges that every time students met, a brawl would always end up happening.

It was that deadly, and the four of them were used to getting into such fights almost daily. Even the school administration couldn't do anything about it, and neither were they punished for it.

However, all the rivalry stopped when they met Darica, who placed the four of them in their place. They were humbled in a manner that even made him feel embarrassed every single time that he recalled what truly happened over four years ago.

When the five of them got together and became a family. Darica automatically became the head of the family and the head of the four gangs.

Making the four of them to be the sub-leaders. Which was still fine with them as they remained with the boys and girls that had been with them from the beginning.

And having Darica as their leader, although it was embarrassing how he as a boy was inferior to a girl. With time, proved to be the best decision he and the others had ever made.

However, his relationship with Yuka was one of the weirdest and strangest things that ever happened to the gang. And until now, he still found everything to be so unreal.

It was as if he was in a dream, for Yuka was cute and one of the top girls at school, that boys and girls wanted to have and yet she picked someone like him.

He felt that he was indeed very blessed and lucky to have her.

And since he felt like that, it was also wise for him to tolerate all the sides of his woman. For he would be a scumbag if he were to accept only the good while ditching the bad.

A frustrated Yuka couldn't help but look at Tristan who was, as always, sitting there patiently and waiting for her to calm down.

'How did I end up dating this brutish guy?' she wondered as she walked towards him with a smile on her face.

Sensing her approaching him, Tristan raised his head, locking his gaze with Yuka in the process.

"Tan, do you regret it?" Yuka suddenly threw a question at Tristan, catching him by surprise.

Tristan looked at Yuka, surprisingly wondering why Yuka was suddenly asking such a vague question, "what do you mean?" he asked, trying to confirm.

Yuka flashed a smile at Tristan as she joined him on the bed and asked, "Tan, I mean the RR thing. Have you ever regretted being part of it and the family? With you having a sub-leader position while she has it all. Have you ever regretted it?"

Hearing her elaborate more on her question, Tristan didn't get offended, but actually reached out to her.

Yuka let him take her hands in his before the two were looking at each other once again.

"At first, I did regret it, since I was used to being obeyed. Whatever I wanted, the gang would do it without question. I was their idol, their leader, and they all looked up to me. But because of my recklessness, I nearly made them lose everything." thinking about the past, Tristan couldn't help but have nostalgia.

Yuka nodded her head, agreeing with his words. After all, just like him, she was also in the same situation as him.

And back then, she really hated Darica to the core.

"But, after being with her for years. And saw everything that she did not just for us but for everyone. There is no need for me to regret it. It's actually good that it's like this. Everyone is happy, and that's all we ever wanted from the start. Although our thoughts were a bit twisted back then," Tristan continued with a smile on his face as he said that.

Yuka smiled back at him and said, "That's true. We have gained so much in the past few years, and sometimes I ask myself. Would I have done something like this for them even after finishing high school? Honestly, I wouldn't have. Since everything was over, there was no need for me to keep on babysitting them. We all got what we wanted from each other, so why bother with the rest?"

Tristan couldn't help but scratch Yuka's palm upon hearing her saying, "Don't you know how to surf your words?" he asked teasingly, seeing how straightforward she could be at times.

Sticking her tongue out at him, she responded in a relaxed manner, "I am just being honest about it. I wouldn't have cared about them, but now it's all different."

"Indeed, it is. Which is why I don't regret it. But babes, why did you ask something like that?" Tristan couldn't help but become curious as to the reason why Yuka would ask such a question in the first place.

Yuka sighed complicatedly as she pulled her right hand from Tristan's before running her fingers through her hair, "It's Darica. She makes me worried."

Tristan felt a surge of emotions as he looked at his girl, and at the same time, thinking about Darica. The young woman who had done so much for them, and sacrificed so much for them that she neglected herself a lot.

"She indeed makes people worry. What did she do this time?"
