BEWITCHED BY THE SCHOOL CHARMER

She embodied sensuality and undeniable charm that no man or woman could deny. Whether they were upright or bent, everyone's gaze was pulled to her. Her smile, frown, and every slight movement she made were enough to affect one’s mentality for the whole day. She was the charmer who was appointed and recognized by everyone in the school, whether they were teachers or students. She was that popular. In this charmer's world, there was no such thing as love. Love was a disease that perverted people's minds and led them astray, and she didn't want to live in such a world. But everything changed when he unexpectedly marched into her life, surprising her. Forcing her to break down the barriers she had up for more than two decades. He was the only one who was present. And he wasn't afraid to take what he wanted since he had the means. For him, being in love was a waste of time, and being faithful to one person was not his strong suit. Why bother investing in a single tree when he could own the entire forest? And when he saw her, his life was turned upside down. For him, it was love at first sight. He disliked it at first but eventually came to respect and like it. This sensation was novel to him and seemed unreal. He was completely in love with her, but her defenses were far too high and strong for him to break through. Will this prince charming and playboy from another school be able to captivate and seduce the school charmer? Will she be able to tear down the barriers she had built to allow him entry into her world, or will she continue to keep him at a distance?

CHAPTER 21: PRINCE CHARMING VS CAMPUS PRINCE

"Hmm, what are those people up to? I can't seem to find them anywhere?" a slightly plump girl asked her friends as they were all seated at a table.

"Who knows?"

"Anyway, while we wait for the rest to arrive. I want to ask you a few questions. You know how we won't be able to see each other for a long time after this," another girl with glasses said, as she looked at the girls seated with her at the same table.

Upon hearing that, the other girls all looked up to her with questioning eyes, 'What is it?'

"Fire away and they better be nice to hear. There is no way I am answering some deep and personal questions!" another spoke defensively, readying herself for whatever was to come.

The girl in glasses chuckled as she looked at her friends and easily said with a wave of her hand. "No, no, no. it's not like that at all. Why should we be uncomfortable when it is supposed to be a vacation?" asking at the end.

"Indeed, that wouldn't be nice."

"So, guys. What are you planning on doing now that we are done with school?" the girl in glasses asked as she pushed her glasses up her nose while looking curiously at her friends.

"Hmm, I will be working for my uncle until I get a job."

"I am planning on visiting my grandparents in the countryside for a while. It's been ages since I last saw them."

"I want to start my own business!"

As they were all seated at the entrance of the restaurant, chaos suddenly erupted.

"OMG! They are here!"

"It's not about them, but what is that person doing here?"

"I can't believe that I am seeing those two in one frame!"

"What is going on here? Can someone please explain to me?"

"Hmm, who are those? They look popular!"

"There must be with the same group as those kids!"

"They look like celebrities, though!"

At that moment, entering the restaurant in a cool manner, were Darica and the rest of her gang. Darica and Duke were at the end while Tristan, Yuka, and the others who were remaining behind were in the front.

Looking behind her and seeing that infatuated expression on that guy's face, Yuka didn't know what to do exactly.

It was still a shock for her, even until that very moment. Who would have thought that when she went to pick Darica to go together to the restaurant, she would be welcomed by Duke instead?

Tristan noticed his girlfriend acting up again as she checked Duke; who he was also very surprised to see, considering that the other wasn't supposed to be there at all.

He nudged her with his elbow, forcing her to look at him. And with a reassuring smile on his face, he whispered to her, "Let's focus. You will get all the answers you need later, hmm?"

Upon hearing that, Yuka, who was nosy by nature, flashed a smile at Tristan as she accepted his suggestion, "Fine, let's do that."

At the back of the group, Duke was all excited as he walked side by side with his favorite person.

Brushing her shoulders and tattooed hand as he walked by her side, Duke couldn't hide his joy.

To think that some moments ago in Darica's room, the two were making out after confirming their relationship. It still felt like a dream, but looking at her who was walking by his side. He knew that all that wasn't just a dream but it was all real.

And it all felt like a blessing, one that he was very happy to receive.

Entering the restaurant like they owned it. The group of seven people made their way to an empty table where they got seated. Completing the whole group of students and teachers that had come for the vacation.

Everyone began to order and while waiting for the food to arrive at a table of teachers, the four couldn't help but glance towards Darica's table.

Their eyes were filled with confusion, uncertainty, and curiosity at the same time. Trying to understand what was going on.

"Do you think that those two….?" another male teacher asked with uncertainty as he looked at his colleagues.

"It looks that way to me!" a female teacher responded as she scrutinized Darica and Duke from a distance.

"But if those two were to date. Don't you think a disaster will fall on us when the new semester starts next year?"

"I don't see it that way. I think that, if they really date, then the two schools might really compromise and work together for the better of everyone."

"Why is dating such a troublesome thing?"

"It's only that way for our famous Prince Charming and campus prince!"

"It must be very hard!"

"Even if it is. We should worry about them. Let's just wait and see how it will progress."

"That's true. I am here for my vacation. Spend some money and see good places. The rest, I don't need to care much."

"Hehe, if we didn't have a capable president; do you think that we will be all carefree like that?"

While the teachers were busy chatting amongst themselves, at the table of Darica, the seven of them were busy having fun as well.

"You two, what's going on?" Yuka, who had taken her seat, finally couldn't help herself but ask what had been bothering her for a while now.

Darica wearing a poker face as if someone owed her millions, didn't answer Yuka at all but had her head lowered as she browsed her phone.

On the other hand, Duke, whose undivided attention was on Darica, admiration in his eyes, turned his head as he looked towards Yuka. The young woman who had made his life miserable during his pursuit.

Did he hate her for the obstacles she placed in his way during that period? No, he didn't. If he was Yuka, he would have done even worse to stop that from happening.

He wasn't a good person when he started, and he was filled with impure intentions. So honestly, he admired her for her hard work and great love for her friend, though he wasn't really sure anymore if that was the relationship between the F5 gang.

Something about those five seemed fishy. And he just couldn't get exactly what they were. But now that he was part of Darica's family, he was going to slowly investigate it until he found the answers that he was looking for.

But before doing that, he needed to satisfy the curious cat, otherwise, Yuka would be bothering his woman.

And he didn't like it when she got disturbed at all. Her angry side was only preserved for him.

For she was so cute when she was angry.
