Chapter 23

As Simeon entered the car, Sabrina pleaded to go with him.

"Fine, as long as you don't make any unusual behavior,"

Simeon allowed her.

What Sabrina had wanted was to see University.

It had been everyone's dream to go there.

"Dad, can you take me to the entrance inside? I don't wanna walk a long way," Amanda tapped at the glass.

"Sure!" Simeon smiled,

Even though he also wanted to see Corona Austra University.

Simeon drove through the gate and to the entrance.

Sabrina and Shannon stared at the gigantic building.

The entrance had an unfamiliar technology that scans any people coming in and out.

There are also some drones moving around, some were watching students and teachers walking around, while others serve as assistants.

As Amanda walked out of the car, one of the drones went to her and she put her bags in the container at the back of it.

"Wait!" Simeon called as he went out of the car,

"Don't you want me to escort you inside?"

Amanda looked at him with a confused face.

"Algorithm is going to do it,"

"Who?" Simeon looked confused,

Amanda pointed at the drone holding her bags beside her.

"Oh," Simeon looked down,

"Don't parents need to meet the principal on their first day? Shannon's school does that," Sabrina walked out.

"HER school does that. Here is different," Amanda made it clear,

Sabrina's ears turned red with embarrassment.

"What's so different about the laws of school? We know your school is unique, but that doesn't mean it doesn't also have the common school policies." Simeon stepped forward, trying hard just to get a peek inside.

Algorithm, the drone assisting Amanda blocked Simeon as he stepped on the first stair,

"The principal doesn't need you right now. Also, it's a rule that only students, professors, workers, and other staff are allowed in. Parents can come inside though, but only when events or when the principal asked for it. It happens every month, " Amanda turned to him.

"Then, who attends when the principal called?" Simeon turned to her,

"Grandpa,"

"Why didn't you tell me so I, as your father can do the responsibility?!" Simeon balled his fist,

"I tried to, but you were too busy to even glance at me." Amanda walked past him.

In a rage, Simeon had no other choice but to get back in his car and slammed the door.

"Amanda, maybe next time you can tell us when the principal does," Sabrina tapped her shoulder,

"Maybe," Amanda gave her a sly smile.
