Eren's POV

5 hours later

"I got a correct identity verification." said Jean though the earpiece

I watched from inside the car as two married couples moved into a house.

"Alright same thing, everyone move." said Levi

I exit the car and make my way towards the porch and I knock on the door. The door opens slightly and the husband peeks his head out.

"Who are you?" asked the man

Levi just kicks the door open again. The man falls down but he gets up and punches Levi to the ground so I quickly kick him away and take out my side arm and point it at him.

"Don't move." I warned him

A woman comes in and gasps at the sight. Another man comes in and slowly raise his arm in surrender.

Jean grabs the man and we force him to sit down on a chair on the kitchen table.

"Who are you people?" asked the man who punched Levi

"I know who they are." said the second man, "They were the heroes presented with your foster child."

"Oh so you know Ghost." said the first man

"I want your names." demanded Levi

"Andrew Wilson." replied the first man

"Maria Wilson." replied the woman

"Tony Chen." replied the second man

"We're here for some answers, not for a fight." said Levi

Levi nodded at Hange as she cleared her throat.

"By any chance do you know anything about Ghost's biological parents?"

"Before we answer anything, how do we know you're not the enemy?" asked Andrew

"Because we worked with him and we're trying to figure out if he's telling the truth or not." lied Hange

"Okay then, they were my friends." replied Andrew.

"How?" asked Hange

"Work." replied Andrew

"So you worked for the President too?" asked Hange

"Yes." replied Andrew

"Then do you know anything about NHEO?" asked Hange

"If you went to the President first he told everything I don't know anything else." replied Andrew, "Well except for one thing that Ghost doesn't know."

"What is that?" asked Hange

"I don't know if Ghost disclosed anything about his parents," said Andrew, "but his parents weren't killed by any Russian military."

"What do you mean not any Russian military?" asked Hange

"I don't know myself." he replied, "He's father was dying in my hands when I got him out of his car when it fell into the water and he kept saying, 'not who you think they are.'"

"So you're suspecting that it's someone else?" asked Hange

"Possibly." replied Andrew

"Does Ghost know?" asked Hange

"No." replied Andrew, "And it's better if it stay that way. If you know what I'm talking about."

"Okay thank you, that's it." said Hange

"I'm only telling you this because I trust that you guys will do the right thing." said Andrew

"We don't even know if we're on the good side." implied Hange

"Oh by the way," I interrupt, "Did you know Ghost got married?"

"Of course we do." said Andrew

"He has children and the Russians are trying to capture them and use them as bait." I warned them

"No need, they're safe." said Tony, "I'm Phantom's father."

"Huh?" gasped Jean

He goes into a room and comes back out with two kids, both toddlers.

"Meet Malvik Kan 4 years old and Emma Kan 2 years old." said Tony

Annie started playing with the kids' feet and hands as they looked at us with confused eyes. The boy was a toddler about 3 and half feet tall. The 2 year old baby was still a baby.

"We'll be leaving now." said Hange

We left the house and headed back to our cars.

"You need to stop kicking the doors open Levi." said Hange

During the ride I informed Armin everything and he had a lot of questions but they were all left unanswered.

Ghost's POV

We get off the airport and we all grab a taxi to Stohess.

"I reserved a hotel 600 meters away from the castle, but our room has a clear view of everything that is going on."

I head towards the hotel and check in.

"We reserved you two a separate room for privacy reasons." said Hacker

"Huh? Three rooms?" I asked

"Yes sir, well one other room for them two." said Hacker as he points at Kit and Javelin

"What..." mumbled Kit, "You know uhh I think I'll-"

"We'll be fine sir, goodnight sir." interrupted Javelin as she drags Kit into the room.

"Ooo." chuckled Bomber

I enter our room which had one bed, a desk, a tv, chair and couch. The window had a great view of the castle as lights on the streets, castle, buildings shined through the darkness of the night.

"Eren and the others are coming back right now from Colorado." said Phantom

"How much do they know now." I sighed

"Are you planning on meeting them?" asked Phantom

"Not me." I replied, "Kit will meet them."

"Okay, what do we do for now?"

"We scout the activity down there, see what Recon will be doing next." I replied

"Right now?"

"Just you, me and Marksman will be going in a few minutes." I replied

Phantom opens her bag and takes out her pistol and starts putting in bullets into her mag.

"You should change." said Phantom

"Yea, this is bothering me." I replied

I enter the bathroom with my clothes and I start changing. I check my scars from the war especially the one on my right side. Apparently it didn't heal fully, it was so damaged that it can break again with a good amount of force. That's why I always wear a plating over it in order to prevent it from getting damaged.

I get changed and leave the bathroom and Phantom already changed when I was getting ready.

"Do we wear our masks?" asked Phantom

"Wouldn't that be suspicious?" I asked back

"I don't know we just never went outside without hiding our identities." replied Phantom, "And it's not like we're going to actually go to the castle."

"There's Russian and Eldian patrols all over the place, it also looks like they tightened security after what happened." I replied as I looked outside, "Plus, Recon's out there, she knows the best out of everyone."

"I hate the fact that she's part of this again." said Phantom

"But she's not our biggest problem." I replied

"Sure." sighed Phantom, "You should get ready instead of looking out the window like that."

I open my bag and I take out my Glock 19, actually my mother's, I put on a Docter red dot sight on it, a laser pointer with a flashlight option, and a suppressor. I begin to fill my mags with bullets and I loaded my gun and cocked it.

I grab my hat and camera for my disguise and left the room with Phantom, outside our room was Marksman waiting for us.

"No mask?" he asked

"I don't want to draw attention." I replied

He takes it off but lowers his hat so that it covers his eyes, I do the same.

"Lets go."

We left the hotel and we made our way through the crowded streets. There were multiple patrols but we passed by them without the patrols noticing. A bunch of new reporters were in front of the castle, broadcasting the events that took place.

"Hey look, it's the queen." pointed Marksman

Historia was outside talking to Erwin and other commanders.

"Try picking off what the reporters are saying." I said, "Historia's conversation too."

We split up and I went to a reporter truck and leaned against it and took out my phone and pretended to look at it, but I listened to what the reporter was saying.

"After the incident that happened, the newly formed country may be joining sides with our world enemy, Russia. After all many countries have sided with Russia, even Canada has turned against the US." said the reporter

'The fuck, since when?'

"Oh and here's Queen Historia right now, your majesty is there anything you want to say to the US?" she asked

"All I want to know is the truth, we don't want to start another unnecessary war, all we are asking is for Ghost team to turn theirselves in." said Historia

I walk away and I continued to walk down the streets but someone caught my eye. Near the entrance of the castle stood Recon standing in front of a squad.

'Is this what you wanted? All of this hatred in this world? Is this it?'

I turned and left the group of reporters and met up with the other two.

"Did you hear anything useful?" I asked

"I overheard a Russian's talk, seems like in Russia they're voting a new President." said Marksman

"I overheard that Recon was the commander for this operation." said Phantom, "She's pressuring a lot of her soldiers to catch us. Half of the time, anyone who fails gets a beating."

"Typical." sighed Marksman

"I overheard that Historia might side with Russia." I implied

"Oh really?" questioned Phantom

"Yea, and I also heard that Canada sided with Russia." I implied

"It's no surprise that would happen, after all their President was killed." said Phantom

"Let's go, we heard enough." I said

We headed back to the hotel and I told Kit to send a text to Eren to meet them at a bar with only the ones you trust and to meet him at a bar that's in Shiganshina.

"Take Javelin with you, you'll be safer with her." I said

"Shouldn't I use a different phone number?" asked Kit

"That's your decision." I replied

"Yes sir." he replied

Kit's POV

Colonel left the room, leaving me and Javelin alone in the room. Javelin was in the bathroom showering while I was sitting on the bed looking at my phone.

'My parents must be worried.'

I quickly send a text to Eren where and when to meet using a different phone. I then toss my phone into my bag and turned on the TV. I switched the channels before turning it off and just looked out the window for the next 10 minutes.

The castle lights were bright and the streets were filled with people even at this time. I watched as patrol cars passed by us, police officers walking around, reporter trucks passing by.

"What are you looking at?" asked Javelin

I turned to look at her but immediately turned back around. She was standing there with only a bathrobe on.

"Just outside." I quickly replied

She sits next to me on the bed and I started sweating just from feeling her next to me.

"I thought we would be at peace right now." sighed Javelin

"I thought you would retire from being a Sentinel and return to Japan." I replied

"I honestly thought I would do that too, but something just kept telling me to stay." replied Javelin.

"And this is what we get for staying." I replied

My phone buzzes in my bag so I took it out and on the screen was a text message from Eren telling me to meet him in 2 hours if that's possible.

"I just showered though." complained Javelin

"Well, it's not that late." I replied, "It's only 11 pm. I'll go tell colonel."

"Sure, I'll get dressed." she replied

I left the room and knocked on Colonel's room. Phantom responded and looked at me confused before smirking.

"Javelin's been bothering you?"

I felt my cheeks turning red so I quickly shook my head.

"What is it then?"

"Well, Eren responded and he wants to meet me in 2 hours." I replied

Phantom calls Ghost and she leaves when Ghost comes to the door.

"In 2 hours?" asked Ghost

"Yes sir." I replied

"Okay then, just be careful, there's a whole bunch of patrols around here but I'm sure it's fine in Shiganshina." replied Ghost

"Yes sir, we'll be careful." I replied, "We'll leave in 10 minutes."

He nodded and closed the door so I head back to my room and entered the room. But when I entered the room, Javelin was standing there naked.

"WHAT THE FUCK! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO FUCKING KNOCK BEFORE YOU ENTER!" she screamed

She throws a knife straight at me but I quickly dodged it and left the room, horrified from what I just saw.

'Oh shit I'm so fucking dead.'

After 5 minutes of pacing around the hallway, she opened the door and just glared at me.

"Look I'm really sorry I completely forgot my manners." I started begging for forgiveness

"Just go and grab your stuff." she growled

I dashed into the room and grabbed my gun, knife, phone, hat and wallet with my fake ID. I quickly put on my civilian vest and my jacket over it and left the room.

Javelin was standing in the hallway with her arms crossed and an eyebrow raised. I looked away and started shuffling with my foot.

"Uhhh I really didn't mean to barge into the room." I mumbled

"You're lucky that you're on my good side." she snapped

I nodded in response.

"Let's go." she said

We left the hotel and waved for a taxi, we gave the driver the address to the bar.

"Ahh, that's a nice place especially for couples like you guys." chuckled the driver

I felt my cheeks turn red again.

"We're not like that." I stuttered

"Oh sorry, then are you guys married?" asked the driver

"No sir, we are just friends." replied Javelin

"Ahh, I'm sorry." said the driver

We set out towards Shiganshina district, passing through security patrols checking the cars.

'I hope you trust us, Eren.'
