I'll be honest with this The last 50 or so chapters have shown immense growth in comparison to earlier, and have been really good chapters The first 60 chapters were nothing chapters with just some chinese novel tropes joined together (the silk pants young master trope not being there is a huge plus) The next phase (70-150) frankly has a speedup in which the mc wins 2 tournaments he was not at all expected too, and a lot of things go down quickly The big issues being the major inclusion of fate, destiny and karma kinda makes the mc seem like an mc in the story which is never good, as hes just supposed to be another person but now basically gives off an mc aura The mc keeps winning, be it challenges or tournamemts, there isnt really a realistic up and down situation where he wins and loses and doesnt get all prizes by getting bump ups in cultivation somehow or the other The story kinda has a bias towards the mc with him holding grudges for things he or his family or his friends do as well but if the other side does it the mc must have revenge kinda hypocritical The biggest issue is the opportunities he gets, its like from the start he gets endgame things like a gift basket in terms of the number of things he has, it feels really wierd thinking what is he even supposed to find from now til the end when he already has endgame stuff already, very underwhelming I really hope there is more to this story than a my universe vs other universe ending ss that plot has already become overused with how many are doing it

Have to admit, this story is amazing. its hard to put it all into words, but the quality is the best ive seen in a while, and its FREE to read. Ive donated over 1000 coins because of the quality and the fact its free.

mind blowing novel this will be one of favourite novel

This is my first review for any story on Webnovel so here goes. Before I say anything else, I will say this. Read the story for yourself. I don't know how many stories I've passed up thinking they maybe bad just on what the reviews said. A lot of those stories I've gone back and tried and found they are a lot better then people give them credit for. Now this story won't be everyone's cup of tea, but you won't know till you try.Is it perfect, no. However, it is still extremely well written. Now there are some cliche parts here and there, but they add to they story more then take away. They allow the author to take an almost predictable thing and twist it to his vision. Now if this review does anything, I hope it gives potential readers a reason to at least try it. At least go till the end of the free chapters to see if it speaks to you. The story does start to pick up at that point. It allows us readers to see what the story potential will be.Again at least try. If you're anything like me, than you probably have used all free passes or are out of chapters and are waiting on more. So take the time and try for yourself. Sorry if I started to ramble, again first review.

I just want to say that the book is amazing many have ups and downs but this one is just great.

interesting characters and it's plot is Fantastic the character growing powerful steadily with hardships also makes this novel quite good and it is also not a wuxia novel so it is quite comfortable to me who is not a chinese I should suggest everyone should give it a try... you will not regret it.

Sinceramente, no entiendo porque está novela está tan bien votada, es simplemente una sucesión de clichés uno a través del otro, protagonista que no puede cultivar obtiene un tesoro que le desbloquea la capacidad de cultivar, nadie puede cultivar dual pero el protagonista si, hay un evento que es para un grupo de edad determinado... Así sigue, me da pereza escribir más, si ya leíste una de estas novelas, ya leíste todas, por lo menos no hay un "fatty", al menos hasta el cap 49. No voy a traducir esto, si alguien no sabe español, que use el traductor Google, si quieren responder, respondan en cualquier idioma, no me importa.

So I read up to chapter 92 (all the free chapters) and I am pleasantly surprised. I went in expecting a mediocre cultivation novel to simply pass the time and got something I am really enjoying and plan to follow updates with. Pros and Cons listed below Pros: - Good and descriptive writing that isnt too long winded - Interesting and cool cultivation system - Author hasn’t needlesssly drawn out sequences to maximize words/chapters (other than maybe the palace halls 😂 iykyk) - Self aware MC - Slightly OP MC (doesnt negatively effect story) - Very little arrogant young master activity Cons: - A few cliches (not too bad though) - A few interactions that seem to serve as obvious plot devices (only 1 or 2 so far) - We don’t know too much about the world yet (he starts exploring it soon though) Other than that, I definitely suggest giving this novel a try

If I could put infinity stars I would, but I need to stabilize my foundation first so 5 will have to do. Read this book it’s good for your soul

This book has to be one of the be ads t on the app. I'm not a big spender, but this book has broken that habit. The development is amazing, and it always gets my heart pumping!!

Cool novel, with an unique cultivation system. The MC actually works hard for things, and isn't just handed treasures randomly. The fights are logical, and the MC doesn't always level up in the middle of fights. There aren't any mindless young masters, and the author unveils previous mysteries while introducing new ones at a fairly good pace. World building is quite good. Honestly a really good read worth your time. If you enjoyed Martial World, you'll prolly enjoy this too. Hopefully the author doesn't discontinue this gem of a novel.

I have never been i person that was good with words but All i can say is that this is quickly becoming one of my favorite books so far. I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of reading it

OMG this is the best novel i have ever read, the suspense is killing me lol, but most of all is the story line and development. It so good that i don't understand how you are thinking about this, this is so great and i would love if you can bring maybe 3 chapters everyday instead of one, just saying don't stress yourself out that you won't be able to post chapters. love this novel pls don't drop it preety pls.

This is my first ever rebiew on a novel on WN and all i can say is that this novel is truly good. I am at Chapter 419 right now and am waiting dor more to come out, i throughly enjoyed reading this and it never got old and boring or had the same tropes over and over. If anyone is wondering if they should start this book then i have to say you must and you wont be disappointed.

Amazing novel. One of my favorites. Starts off a bit slow, but picks up pace around chapter 20 and then really picks up pace around chapter 60. From that point on its one of the best novels on the site. 5/5 would recommend.

This novel is quite well written if you don’t mind having an MC clad in a freaking suit of plot armor. John is so unbelievably lucky that it’s quite frankly disturbing. The author try to explain John luck with him going through some pain to get some gain, but its still an absurd golden finger. Every single possible cheat find it’s way in John’s hands...
