Stages and Realms, Bosses

[Attention, Players!]

[This is the first Global Announcement in ApexRise Online. I urge you all to listen carefully because this message won't be repeated].

[I'm Charlotte, the Invisible Information NPC of this game world, and I hereby notify all Players of this game that I will be the Global Message Announcer].

[Now, let's go straight to the point.

The progression of ApexRise Online is divided into two. Stages and Realms.

Three Stages makes a Realm and when Players make it to the last Stage of a Realm, they undergo a conflict against a Boss, a Villain who would be assigned to stop Players from making it into the first Stage of the next Realm.

At this point, four Players shall come together to go against this Boss. Every four Players shall battle a Boss of their own, and if they manage to defeat the Boss, they shall enter the next Realm's first Stage.

Also, the group of four Players that had battled a Boss of the first Realm shall continue to be the group of four to battle against any other Boss in other Realms even though there are cases of death amongst them or not.

They can choose to disband when in normal Stages, but when they reach the Boss Conflict stage, they must reunite].

[Bosses are NPCs, no Player would antagonize a fellow Player with violence].

"Weren't we only connected to NPCs? Linking up Players might just be a bad idea for this stupid government!" Tyler said angrily.

"I can't imagine how foolish and weird Players in this game her... They are just as stupid as I am. And I don't need them as my teammates."

Tyler wasn't happy with the message. They were all Players in this game, and he really knew that all these bitches right here are motherfucking backstabbers.

Killing each other just to get some Players out of the way was something that most Players might aim to do, especially when everyone here are bloody criminals.

Sigh...

Tyler tried to calm down.

He calmed down.

He dipped his right hand into his shirt's pocket and brought out the golden ring. He stared at the ring for a while and decided to make an inspection.

At least, the game system privileged all Players to be able to inspect items and all kinds of creatures. Maybe not all, it might just be the only ones Tyler had come across... Perhaps.

Tyler smiled. "The ring isn't bad at all. At least, I can be able to reach a particular place under attack at that moment."

Sigh...

He smiled again. "Thank you, village head oldie," he muttered.

Tyler stayed awake for quite long before finally succumbing to the feeling of sleep. After a very stressful second day in the super realistic game world of ApexRise Online, Tyler's feelings were mixed with both delightful and sad emotions.

Sleeping here was 100% realistic just like the real world... The game setup was top-notch! Tyler felt the aura of reality, making him believe that this game show was the greatest of all. With the looks of it, it was really a source of unlimited financial increase for the world.

The Hangman woke up the next day to see lots of support from his fans. He had gotten several messages while in the Dark Thicket battling against the Horned Beast and also in the Southern Villages, but Tyler only decided to check them later on.

Now, The Hangman's face was painted with a delightful smile as he read the messages in his private inbox.

"You shouldn't think this is good progress, Tyler!" He said to himself, hitting his forehead with his left palm.

At least, he finally got his first Super Ticket which was a relief. Only two days had been spent in January which is the beginning month in ApexRise Online, so The Hangman believed that he could at least make it to the Top 10 million before the first stage ends.

Twenty-nine days were still left...

Sigh...

Tyler also spent some time studying the Top 10 Players on the Super ranking board after checking his inbox.

Tyler was amazed by Pilgrim's gap against the second ranker. It was visibly clear that this guy was the best player in ApexRise Online at this moment, and Tyler had no doubts about it.

Tyler wondered what class Pilgrim had that could have earned him this fortune...

He believed that there was something so unique about this Player, and Tyler really wanted to know this...

He wished a Player could know other Players' classes, but in ApexRise Online, it was forbidden. Every player's Class is hidden from other Players. It was the culture of the game world.

After pondering for some time, he finally stood up to get prepared for another day. Today, Tyler aimed to gain a lot of Impulse Points.
