Chapter 47 :- A Broken Promise

All of the rubble in the village was cleared up Hiroshi , Mimiko And Ryo ran after Kazuki.

While Hiro was still walking down and stumbling between the village. He was so lost in himself that he didn't care see the change happened around him. Eventually he came across the house that was not destroyed however inside there was dead silence. He knocked the door but the door was already unlocked he went inside and saw lifeless body of Yuzi staring at a lamp. Hiro calmly went inside and sat near Yuzi.

" Grandma I'm sorry for your loss and I promise you that I will take revenge for Niko and whoever destroyed our village " said Hiroshi

" You must find the weapon of Benkei" said Yuzi

" Who " asked Hiro

" You know Hiro who might not have an animal spirit but you do have something called Will power " said Yuzi in a cold shivering voice

" Benkei , will power what you mean " asked Hiro

" When someone close to us dies, we've been told, it's important to let our feelings out. If you bottle up your emotions, your grief will spill out later " said Yuzi

" It will be like a volcano that will store hot magma over time and eventually burst causing a lot of damage " she added

Hiro started to cry as he sat on his knees and bowed infront of Yuzi

" I am sorry I...I couldn't save her " said Hiro

" I lost my son and my daughter in law due to the attack on temple 12 years ago , and my husband 40 years ago " said Yuzi

" In the past 28 years the only thing I had was my children , and now all of them are gone. For whom shall I live now " she added

Hiro stayed quiet as he didn't wanted to interept her.

" Benkei sama saved my great grandpa and because of him I am alive today " said Yuzi

" Who is Benkei sama " asked Hiro

" But grandma what will I do with this information , Niko just died , you haven't healed yet and maybe the demon's come back again to kill all of us what are we gonna do " said Hiro

" Are you strong enough " asked Yuzi

" Did you broke Niko promise " asked Yuzi

" I did not but what's the point of this I wasn't able to save her " said Hiro

" I am nothing but a piece of trash, useless and burden over my brother. I lost my father when I was very young and I lost my mother in front of my eyes. I am always the weak link of our group and others need to save me I wasn't born with any animal spirit and I don't know what I will do in future maybe I will die by the hands of those demons aur I will lose my people because I will not be strong enough or like in the case right now I am not strong enough to save anyone even if I was here I would have died rather than saving Niko and you expect me to have a will power as similar to a great lord Benkei sama and you think that I can save people I don't know grandma but as far as I can see one day my brother would die because of me and I couldn't do anything about it" shouted Hiro

" Hiro , you are not what you think you are" said Yuzi

Hiro and Yuzi stared into each other eyes as they were meant to say anything. The sun sets while the crickets starts to chirp.
