Done in 3 Days

"I don't remember much yesterday, when I came into, I was already in the clinic with Dr. Linda and some nurses in the room. She was also the one who instructed me to go here immediately." Tyler explained though he left out remembering the day clearly like it just happened a few minutes ago.

The librarian was unfazed though as she thought that it was Tyler making excuses of his misdemeanor.

"Anyway, you should already know which room you have made a mess, head there and until you can finish fixing all of them, your community service will not end."

"Now?" There was only half an hour left before his next subject.

"You could do so in any of your break time. if you have time now then you can start so you can finish earlier." The librarian instructed.

Tyler nodded; he decided first to check on the current state of the room. He waved and to Quin signaling that he would be right over the storage room.

Quin replied with an okay sign before relaxing in the breeze of the aircon.

Tyler walked a few meters and arrived at the door, though it's not actually a door but a taped-up entrance.

He peeked inside and what awaited him was a disaster. Shelves fallen off, Books flown and even tattered, the tiles seemingly broken, there were even cracks in the wall.

Tyler sighed as he saw the state of the room, there were much to in order to fix that room. After checking he left and went to the area of Quin.

Quin specifically left a space for him in the couch near the aircon.

"Is it finished?" Quin asked as Tyler sat down

"It's far from finished." Tyler sighed.

"What do you mean?"

"You see that room I went to?" Tyler pointed at the storage room.

"What about it? Is the thing you went here related to that."

"I supposed was the one who wrecked it." Tyler didn't have any reason to keep it a secret.

"You wrecked it? What do you mean supposed?" Quin was bewildered, he never thought that Tyler was the kind of guy that messes with school property.

"The truth is, I have no recollection of what happened. I was also a casualty, when I came into my consciousness, I was already at the clinic bed."

Quin gave a surprised look but never said a word.

Tyler wanted to tell that he awakened his third eye because of that incident, even if it's not entirely true.

But he withheld his urge as it would only lead to more confusion, and its possible that the curse user is nearby and is listening to every word he says.

"It's lucky that you haven't been expelled already, a damage that size and you'll not be surprised if the perpetuator is expelled from the institution."

Tyler agreed, he really could be considered to be one of the luckiest people in the town or even the world that he was able to get out of such predicament, any other person would most likely be expelled as the monetary and historical value is a tremendous lose despite being only a storage unit.

"Yeah, being only left with the duty to clean is a major opportunity."

They talked for a few minutes regarding random stuffs, without them knowing time past ever so quickly.

The bell rang.

"Damn, we'll be late at this rate. Only 5 minutes left till the next class starts." Quin jolted up.

They both rushed out towards the exit, they knowingly ignored the reprimanding librarian as they went out.

Tyler was about to used shamanism when he was reminded that Quin is able to open his third eye and see the ways of nature.

Activating such power, Quin could surely tell.

They instead powered through running at full speed, arriving with sweat and tired body.

The afternoon continued peacefully, disregarding the haggard look of both Quin and Tyler.

The bell rang that signaled the end of the day. It was already dismissal and all was excited to go back home. Even Quin was not exempted to this feeling.

"Finally, we can go back home. It was a tiring day despite the subject consisting of only introduction."

He was ready to leave as he remembered Tyler.

"Right, you have to stay to fix the library. Want me to accompany you in fixing." He was not offering an empty had but genuinely wanted to help.

"No thanks, I appreciate the thought but even though I know I didn't do it the conscience remains so I would like to do it alone." Tyler said with a smile.

"It would take you a month if you do it by yourself. I haven't look at it but seeing they also barricaded the door; I could tell there's a lot of mess and damage. If I help, maybe it would reduce into only a week if done every dismissal up until 6 in the evening."

"If it's an ordinary person, sure it would take a long time to fix. Just fixing a cabinet would take 2 days much lest all of them combined."

"So why are you hesitating?" Quin was puzzled, if Tyler knew that much, why doesn't he ask for help. Tyler would surely know that he isn't speaking empty words.

"What if I tell you I could do it in 3 days." Tyler says with a grin on his face.

Quin doesn't believe him and added a stake to Tyler's hubris of himself.

"Sure, if you're able to do what you have told me, I will be the sponsor for your lunch for a week. If not, you'll have to tell me what made me so confident and let me help you."

When Tyler heard Quin's condition, he was ecstatic. This was a win-win situation. He could just come up with an excuse on what made him so confident, though it would not be possible for him to lose. His plan was to use shamanism.

There's no way he'll lose.
