Tyler was in shock as he did not expect his so-called seat mate a part of the mystic force.

"It's nothing special, it's also the reason that I wanted to get close to you."

"You see, you have quite a lot of nature energy surrounding you, this got me quite curious if you also have your third eye opened since from my research those who have it open has their nature affinity higher than most people."

Upon the explanation of Quin, Tyler thought of a reason to give out. He can't just say he's after some curse maniac and it's most likely the one who is terrorizing the neighborhood students.

"Wait…let me gather my thoughts" Tyler excused as he turned around. He bit his thumb and used the blood to write inscriptions on his forehead.

This awakened and improved his spiritual sense as he can view more clearly the energy flow if the surroundings. Coupled with the ability of curse and shamanism, his spiritual sense is any times better than Quin.

It surprised him though that it didn't feel any pain and instead he was enveloped with warmth and peace.

It must be because he had learned the arts of curse but, the surroundings are enveloped by curse energy, his intuition was right as it was probably a curse user who has targeted the students of this neighborhood.

His plan was to set up a tracking spell but with the spread of curse energy he needs to think of another plan to get the perpetuator. At best he could not only get the one who curse him but also punished the psycho curse user Elijah.

Tyler turned around and said, "As you have guessed, I also unlock one."

Hearing that, Quin was ecstatic. It was his first time seeing someone like him. He had been bullied in his childhood because sometimes spirits and other elements would talk to him and others will say that he is creep which is the reason they all avoided him.

When he moved to this town a few years back, he decided to throw away his past.

Though until Tyler caught his eye. His intuition didn't betray him though as Tyler revealed he also has a third eye unlocked.

"Woah, this is pretty awesome. Out of the billions of people in the world, I got to meet you. Talk about fate."

Hearing that Tyler once again put his arms in his chest jokingly.

"Come on, I said it's not like that!" Quin was in the verge of tears as he was being swallowed by embarrassment.

In this kind of times, he couldn't help but think that Tyler is quite a comedic guy.

They decided to drop the topic and head to the cafeteria, it was lunch time and they actually spent quite a lot on that time sharing secrets which ended embarrassingly.

Their lunch didn't take a while, not because they eat so little, but because they were so fast in eating. Even the bystanders were amazed since its not the kind of messy eating usually done by people who are short on time, they still have dignity as they eat with that speed that left such awe in the eyes of the others who were eating there.

Seeing the gazes of the others, they decided to finish what they were eating as it felt very embarrassing.

Quin's thought was full of why was this an embarrassing day, it should have been a fun second day of classes.

There were still 30 minutes before the classes start when Quin brought up a conversation.

"The room's hot, let's wait until the bell rings at the library before heading back to the classroom. The buildings are not too far apart from each other so we can make do…unless you want to be early again." Quin remembered how early Tyler was, though he was not who the right to speak.

Tyler's eye widened as he quickly looked at Quin with a worried look.

"What? You really can't be a second late or even arrive at the nick of time?" Quin was puzzled.

"No, I forgot I have business in the library. Thank God, you reminded me!" Tyler said with a worried look.

"Let's go!"

Seeing Tyler hastening his paced, Quin couldn't do anything and followed. He's plan was to go to the library so this did not go against having the cool breeze of the library.

They entered and saw quite many students; Tyler particularly took notice of the room he found the Akashic Records. There was a yellow tape indicating to keep out taped in the door to the room.

Tyler felt guilty, though he knows he wasn't the one who did it and it was specifically the Akashic Records but after all words are said and done, it was an irrefutable fact that he was involved and was the only person seen inside the room when it got 'destroyed.'

He still hasn't taken a look at it and he hoped that it would be done by just a few picking up fallen objects and dusting the place.

He went to the librarian in charge as Quin went to the nearest spot nearest to an aircon, he decided to let Tyler fix his personal things, he doesn't want to pry too much.

"Excuse me."

"Are you a freshman? What can I do to help."

"I was asked to go here by Dr. Linda, she said I have to do community service here." Tyler didn't go around the bush and said directly.

"Oh, you're that student we brought to the clinic yesterday. We were really scared when we heard a loud sound coming from our storage room, and when we saw you lying there amidst all the rubble, we were even more terrified." The librarian sighed she recalled what had transpired yesterday.

Her face changed to serious one, "I'm sure you already have been told by Dr. Linda but, property damage of the school can't go unpunished, plus it was the first day of school. What were you doing there?"

Thank you for reading!

I hope you understand how difficult it is to write a novel, moreso if you're also a writer. Jumping to conclusion and accusing a novel being an ai work because the main character's name sound ai is an insult and a form of disrepect to the hardwork put.

Authors are human too. I hope you can enjoy my work :)
