38. Chaos.

The entire city was in an uproar, you see some of the stuff I had thrown out could easily be investigated, for example does Danzo have Sharingan and Hashirama cell for an arm. The answer is a cold hard yes!

So what happens when the ninja council call for the old man to be brought forth and investigated?

Chaos!

The ninja sent to get Danzo were all slaughtered, him and his root were all missing however someone gave them information about various hideouts that Danzo owned and where to find them. Crazy how those fliers ended up all over the city right?

However Hiruzen spent most of the time trying to calm an absolutely livid Uchiha and Uzumaki.

If one of those things were proven true by the fleeing of Danzo, then what about all the lab equipment and experimental notes left behind from Orochimaru, what about all the information on the upcoming invasion that he couldn't get rid of because he was caught off guard.

My oh my, what a simple scroll tied to a brick through someone's window will do.

"Ehehehe!"

"You're cackling again darling." Valerie points out with a smirk.

"Sorry it slipped. I was just thinking about what Tsunade is going to do when she finds out her little brother was killed on purpose by Danzo and Orochimaru?" I ask out loud.

"Don't you think they will try to suppress this information?"

"Ah but my dear you forgot what is going on at this exact moment. The chuunin exams! There are perhaps hundreds of merchants and foreign dignitaries here to examine the growing ninja of the leaf. They all recieved a lovely information packet in the middle of the night." I tell her. "Not to mention the security of the village is absolute dog water, there are probably loads of spies in this village that already know the information."

In the council chambers the old Hokage was busy trying to put out various fires and prepare for an oncoming invasion of forces that may now include root members. He also had a raging Jinchuriki who no longer called him grandpa, and the last Uchiha who wanted to slaughter the village. However if he touched Sasuke then his older brother would more than likely arrive like the wrath of god.

Now all the clan heads were wary of him due to him 'letting' the Uchiha massacre happen. Even the Hyuuga incident was brought up, the clan leaders brother was killed and he basically handed him over on a silver platter to cloud. Things were not looking good.

He couldn't deny shit either! Fucking Danzo had screwed him when he ran. The only thing he could do to quell some of the rage of the clan members was to mark Danzo as a missing Ninja and hold and open investigation, which proved to dig up even darker and more severe matter which made it all worse.

The kidnapping of orphans and clan members, missions being used to kill off members of various clans who were growing too powerful or influential or kidnap and brainwash and experiment on them.

'How the hell did that kid get so much classified information!?!?' Hiruzen thought angrily.

Never in his life would he be able to guess the truth. Right now they couldn't even find the kid as he had vanished.

As for said kid he was currently in the woods far away from the leaf.

Standing in front of him chowing down on delicious fresh cooked meat was a tan, mint haired twelve year old looking at him with stars in her eyes. She was malnourished, dirty and wearing rags for clothing. Her house consisted of some sticks propper up on a tree with leaves for cover.

"So if I come with you I can have a warm place to sleep, friends, and hot food?" She asks hopefully.

It was pretty sad honestly.

"Yes, I'll even be your first friend. I'll get you nice clothes, teach you some jutsu, and give you the biggest bed in the house if you want it." I tell her honestly.

And then she pulled me into a hug and broke down crying.

Ah way too much for a small child to go through. About half an hour later she was fast asleep with dirty tear marks on her face.

I helped drag her into Kamui before putting her in one of the beds.

"Ah, the way these people treat children is frustrating." I say with a sigh.

"I think it's very kind of you to help them." Valerie says with a sweet smile.

"In a way it's also me being greedy, however I'm not a fan of child abuse." I shake my head. "They will be much better off following me, I'll make sure they are taken care of and treated right. Besides you always complained that I spent too much time at home reading and needed to make more friends."

The only one of actually age in the group was Anko who was about 18. The rest were 15 and under.

"However I can easily provide, shelter, food, protection and care." It costs me almost nothing. I still make money on spatial rings in Orario by reselling rings.

We leave the room missing Fu, shedding a few more tears and smiling happily while hugging her new pillow.

Time passes by and soon it's time for the finals of the chuunin exam. The leaf couldn't afford to cancel the exams and look weak so they could only suck it up and deal with it.

Up in the kage seats Orochimaru was disguised as the Kazekage sitting next to the old man. He was very interested in the coming fights. If Hiruzen knew it was his student then he didnt show it.

"Ah I believe your son is part of the first battle?" Hiruzen says with a grin at the Kazekage.

"Yes, Hopefully he doesnt disappoint me. I heard his opponent is rather tricky. I cant wait to see what happens." Orochimaru says with a cold voice.
