Chapter Seven: Mazen vs Adonis ( The gloves come off!)
Since the challenge issued was one of battle it made since to use the basement's training area. The only reason Mazen didn't use it before was because he preferred to train outside where he would have the beauty of nature surrounding him.
They all assembled in the training area so Aryis could go over the rules.
" Alright the rules are simple. Combatants will fight barehanded, and the fight will go on until one or both parties submit. Are you both ready!"
The rivals who stood in a makeshift collesium arena both nodded yes. Kai, Yoki, and Rya all stood off to the side.
"Go!" Aryis commanded and the battle began.
Mazen activated his elements of fire and lightning, while Adonis activated light and darkness.
They ran directly at each other at blinding speed so fast they left afterimages. Mazen tried to exchange blows with Adonis but suddenly he looked around and saw many clones of his enemy surrounding him. They all rushed him at once which was a bad move on their part.
Mazen jumped into the air spinning like a top and began shooting of fire and lightning seemingly at random as it appeared to the onlookers. In actuality Mazen was completely accurate with his attacks and managed to hit every copy even the real Adonis.
Luckily he blocked in time and was only knocked backwards, smoke rising of his arm from the attack he just blocked.
"So you managed to defeat my illusions. Your pretty good"
"Ehh your not to bad yourself"
"So since your so good you won't mind if I go all out do you."
" It's not like it matters I will defeat you for I am MAZEN THE GREAT!"
"Yeah whatever. The gloves are coming of now."
"Death touch activate"
Mazen looked down to where said gloves were and watched as they were being pulled off. They looked like normal hands except when they began to glow with a red light and darkness began seeping out of them.
"This is my death touch mode. If I touch you it saps you HP."
Without another word Adonis dashed straight at Mazen, going for a grapple; which was to no avail. Mazen was simple too fast activating his element of lighting and dodging ever attempt in a flashy manner. In an effort to put some distance between them Mazen threw both of his dagger directly at Adonis, and then pulled his katana from its sheath with a twirl and threw it high into the air. Adonis nimbly sidestepped the blades but it was too late, he had fallen into Mazen trap. Mazen first dashed to one dagger and threw it again with his free hand, then to the second doing the same. He began to move at such a high speed all Adonis could see was a yellow blur and the flashes of light coming from the blades he continued to throw. This attack would normally be too fast to dodge but for Adonis it was nothing. After all one of his elements was light, and since he could see it he could dodge it.
" is that all you've got" Adonis taunted from inside of Mazens blade storm attack.
" No" Mazen replies simply as he stopped his motion with a pivot and jumped straight at Adonis.
" you fool your hands are empty what are you gonna do punch m-"
Mazen did exactly that. As Adonis recoiled from the punch Mazen stepped off his chest and back flipped higher into the air grabbing the katana he tossed earlier.
" OH YEAH MAZEN SPIRIT BOMB BLAST KAMEHAME HAAAAA" he shouted as he proceeded to fire a blazing beam of pure heat and lighting striking Adonis square in the chest and sending him to the ground.
"Seems like we're locked in a stalemate. But this isn't really the best you can do is it Mazen." Adonis said after rising to his feet a little worse for wear.
" No it's not the best I can do. You seriously want to do this? We might destroy my house."
"That's okay I'll pay for the damage done when I kick your ass." Adonis said as he began transforming.
The red Aura that sheathed his hands spread to his body and darkness swirled and took on the form of a cloak around him. His eyes turned into bloody red orbs and his black hair began to float on its own as if the wind was blowing. Finnaly two red orbs appeared behind him, darkness and red light spilling out if them into three different streams for each orb.
"This is my reaper form no explanation required accept the fact that it's over for you now."
"Not yet"
Then Mazen began to transform. His eyes turned into indigo blue orbs with digital rings spinning inside of them. Blue Numbers and code begin to spin down his arms rapping around them into a snake. To cap of the transformation Mazen's body was constantly shifting. The surroundings around Mazen began to distort turning a shade of gray.
"This is my glitch mode! I don't even know how I'm doing this right now!"
"Glitch mode?" Everyone shouted.
