Chapter Six: Mazen ( Mismatched Power Rangers! )
Mazen now sat at a table with Yoki and Aryis that was positioned in the foyer, right before the door. Players who wanted to audition to be in the guild would come through the door and be interviewed. Only the best seven would make leadership positions.
Then the real auditions would begin.
"Is it time to start yet Aryis?" Mazen asked impatiently.
"One more minute, brother" she replied wearily.
Yoki rose from the table too gawk out the window.
"Wow look at all those players!!"
"Yeah we better start now" Aryis decided.
Yoki quickly ran back to her seat trying too look like the dignified judge she was supposed too be.
The door opened and the first player walked through.
Mazen's took one look at the guy.....and then in a very dignified manner, fell out of his chair onto the floor in hysterics. He was laughing so hard he almost couldn't breath.
"Mazen, what do you find so funny"yoki asked.
"I....I'm sorry.....it's just.....HE LOOKS LIKE A MISMATCHED POWER RANGER!!!!"
And that's when Aryis and yoki too fell out of there chairs in the same dignified manner.
However rude it sounded the statement was true. The player had on different colored armor everywhere. He was more colorful than a pack of skittles.
The player ran out embarrassed leaving behind the still laughing trio.
" Hu hu I haven't laughed that hard in ages"yoki said whipping a tear from her eye.
They all regained there composure and then resumed the auditions.
The next player was interesting. He was a small boy about eight or seven with short blue hair and matching blue eyes.
Both of the girl judges eyes lit up. He was so adorable!!!!!!!
"Sweetie what's your name" Aryis asked walking around the table and squatting down too his level.
" Hmm my Na.. Na ...name is Kai shikami "he said nervously.
Yoki instantly wanted to hug him.
Mazen too walked around the table all three judges now crowding the boy.
"Tell us about yourself"
"Well, I'm a level 3 defender and I only chose one element, sound."
"Please pardon me, but what makes you so special?"Aryis asked half-heartedly.
"Well I can do this" Kai said opening up his inventory.
He surprised them all by pulling out a massive shield at least five feet taller than himself.
All three judges jumped back in shock. There standing infront of him was a little boy holding a massively thick transparent shield. The shield was beautiful with a golden glow outlining the edges.
"Where'd you get that"
Kai put it back into his inventory.
"I don't know. On the first day I logged in I just checked my inventory and it was there" he said with a shrug.
The three exchanged a look
simultaneously.
Mazen opened the door and addressed the crowd.
"if mysterious weapons appeared in your inventory the first day you arrived here please step out of line. Everyone else can come back tomorrow."
Two people stepped out of line, one boy and girl and everyone else left. The boy had dark hair and red eyes. He just seemed.....creepy.
The girl was much happier looking. She had curly long pink hair, with a matching pink dress.
She's hot... Mazen thought to himself.
The two walked forward and through the open door. They now stood in the foyer infront of the now seated judges.
"Can you tell us who you guys are?"
"My name is Rya sacrimoto, level 12 mage, element earth. My weapon is a staff." said staff was then pulled out of thin air surprising the judges once again. She put it away then asked "who's the hottie" pointing at mazen.
Mazen blushed and turned away from her constant gaze, instead looking at the creepy guy.
"And who might you be"
" My name's Adonis yuranami, level 14 warrior, element is shadow and light. This is my weapon." He opened his inventory and pulled out a giant scythe with a purple edged blade. Everyone gave a low whistle.
"Which one of you is strongest?" Mazen asked.
Adonis immediately took a step forward and no one argued.
" If Adonis can beat me then you all will be allowed into the guild."Mazen challenged looking right into Adonis eyes.
All Adonis did was narrow his eyes and stare back.
