Chapter Eight: Mazen vs Adonis ( Fight Conclusion)

Yes, glitch mode" Mazen affirmed.

"In glitch mode basically anything is possible. That includes teleportation, not being able to hit me, and weapon creation. The only drawback is it drawls power from the system. That means if I use it too much the power will overload my body and I'll die permanently."

"Then it might be smart not to use it?" Rya said concerned.

"Nonsense, let's get back to fighting Adonis!"

Adonis nodded and prepaired to begin fighting again when Aryis interjected.

"Wait a minute, how did you suddenly learn a skill and then get your glitch form also. I thought you couldn't get skills."

"I can't. I borrowed both powers from the system. The only limit to my power is if I use it too much I can get overloaded."

"So how long did you know about this and didn't tell me."

"Well sis I knew since the beginning i just didn't want to tell you because you might not have let me even use the ability. Now what good would that be?"

Aryis shook her head at her brothers slyness.

"So you basically cant be defeated huh"

"That's not how it is Aryis. I can still be defeated it just takes a worthy opponent, like Adonis here. Now can we get back to fighting?"

"Fine, but your not off the hook yet mister. You may resume your fight!"

In their new forms both players rushed at eachother. Mazen teleported leaving behind a flash of numbers.

Adonis also teleported both players flashing around the arena. Mazen kept teleporting and it seemed whenever Adonis did hit him his body would shift causing the hit not to land. The same was true for Mazen. Everytime he tried to hit Adonis his strike would go right through him as if he were made of void.

Both players retreated to try to catch their breath.

" You think you can actually beat me"Mazen puffed out of breath.

"Right back at ya" Adonis exchange.

Then the attacks began anew.

Adonis crossed his arms sending projectiles from the two floating orbs straight at mazen. Mazen in turn created shields made of blue light infront of him successfully stoping the attack. In retaliation Mazen created thousands of different weapons swords, spears, knives and launched them at his rival.

Adonis once again crossed his arms and thousands of trendils of darkness lashed out of the orbs  comingough together to form a shield of darkness stoping the weapons.

But a knife made it through.

Adonis caught it an inch before it impaled him, tossing it to the side.

Then it all went wrong.

Mazen begin to shift blue light flashing through his pours. Adonis began coughing blood his body being consumed in darkness.

"If we don't drop the transformations well both die at this rate"

"So I don't care"Adonis retorted.

"Alright well keep fighting."

"No, no more your both through." Yoki, Rya and Aryis all exclaimed. Kai had stayed quite intent on watching the battle. Both the warriors were amazing. He would love to become a disciple to either one of these warriors.

"Fine well stop" the boys complied.

Then they promptly fell out of the air where they were fighting and collapsed to the arena floor in exhaustion.

"Mazen, Adonis are you okay! Don't worry I'll heal you both"

Yoki sprang into the arena and stood over the bodies of the weary rivals. She pulled out her staff and chanted something healing them both.

"Well that settles it welcome to the guild guys!" Aryis exclaimed walking up to the group.

Everyone sighed in relief.

Then they looked at eachother.

And all started laughing.
