"Minimal, the Flesh monster that we categorized as FM is weak against laser guns and largely to fire..."

"Did you succeed in securing any tests subjects?"

"Yes, a common tactic used on Grimm catching worked on them..."

"Good, contact me if any change in the situation comes."

"Yes, my king!"

Aegis ended the call with the general that had that sector under the jurisdiction, Siesta Greenlas was recently promoted general, and her roots as faunus under Sienna made her both trustworthy and capable of holding such a situation under control, for now...

"So, new types?"

Aegis asked and looked at another occupant of the office...

"Hm, I knew they had the ability to drill through the ground, but never I thought they are better at it than my own children..."

"Your children?"

"Ah, sorry, sometimes I call these I myself invent as my children..."

"...I see... Nevertheless, you can imagine what worry I have with this new revelation."

"Hm, yes, but don't worry, my children already swarmed that tunnel that led to that facility so there wouldn't be further attacks."

"Salem... What I fear is the very concept that they somehow FOUND about that facility in the first place... The wall they drilled through build from cement, iron plates, and titanium rods! AND were steel-plated... So, in short, they were able to get through the countermeasure for your worm Grimms... And yet these flesh monsters ate through it with their teeth!"

Aegis said as he showed Salem the image the camera was able to get when the flesh monster broke through the wall...

"Well, these are new..."

Salem said as she closely looked at the screen with unmistakable fascination...

"Salem... Are these things organized?"

"Ah, im sorry, Aegis, they just look fascinating... But to your previous question, no they aren't."

"Are you sure?"

"Aegis deary, Im the leader of a swarm for thousands of years, you think I couldn't notice if there is something leading them other than their need to find biological material to reproduce?"

Salem said to Aegis with a light chuckle but then stopped as she looked at him seriously.

"But---But there is something that leads their mutation process, even if not leading them, I wouldn't be surprised if there is some intelligence leading the path of their mutation in some way."

"...I see..."

Aegis nodded with his head as he looked at the monsters he mistakingly created and thought eradicated...

Yet there they again were, bitting him into the ass...

Aegis sighed as he closed the screen to Salem's disappointment.

"Salem, how sure are you to contain them in the underground until my people find a way to take care of them permanently?"

"Hm, now that I know their work more clearly, and now I don't need to care about other kingdoms, I can make that all Grimm pools spawn just my spider Grimms."

"Good, but just for a moment to let my warn my people who now research your Grimm pools, as to not scare them that there will by a swarm of Grimms coming from pools..."

"As you wish."

Salem said with laughter as she walked from the room with an extra swagger in her hips and Aegis just shook his head, it seemed that she had done it without knowing, but Aegis was glad that Salem started to feel more at ease there."

"What cosmic horror did I bring there?"

Aegis murmured to himself as he once again opened the screen to look at monsters that were similar o those he knew eradicated multiple Earth's in multiple realities even at their highest golden age, yet he wasn't sure in what of these threats they belonged.

Raven said and Aegis looked at her worriedly...

Raven walked to the doors of the wooden house as the dog started to bark and slowly raised her hand.

Raven loudly banged on the door and there was a sound of trashing things as voices were raised.

"RUBY, GET TO THE DOOR!"

"IM JUST IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GAME!"

"RUBY!"

"AH THEY WANNA MY COOKIES!!!"

"ARRRGHHH ALRIGHT, BUT NEXT TIME YOU GO!"

There was a sound of someone running to the door and as they opened first what Aegis saw was gold hair...

"Who is it---- Mom???"

Said girl that was so similar to Raven, just younger with golden hair and lilac eyes...

"Hey there, daughter..."

The lilac eyes turned red and Aegis just made a slow move to back as he was warned by Raven to let her take care of it...

"Yang who was ittttttttt?????"

Asked voice full of childishness and innocence that it made Aegis blink and the moment he looked, he took another step back as he saw the silver eyes looking at them innocently...

Girl with long curly hair sat on her magically hovering wheelchair as she looked with resentment on the gathered group of students and staff of the school...

She sat in her hovering wheelchair she was 'gifted' after she witnessed how the world of marvels and mysteries treated the ones that didn't belong there...

Just her utter stubbornness she until now regretted and unwillingness to forget all of it made her stay there...

Now? Now she knew better, but all her ideals and dreams were crushed in her first year, and she saw truth hidden in the promises of magic and mysteries...

In the end, just her stubbornness and pride made it so she doesn't choose a quick way from this hellish place, her unwillingness to forget how she became crippled, so much even 'magic' couldn't heal her...

To pleading her own parents and telling them that they would try to erase their memories if she gets away, to unspoken worry that even if she transferred schools, the thing wouldn't change, and that this wouldn't help as it was everywhere same, especially for a cripple like her...

Hermione Granger bitterly sighed as she watched the envoys of two foreign schools arrive in fanfare...

And all she could do was to grit her teeth and stay silent as not to gain the attention of jeers and ridicule...

"House of bravery and chivalry..."

Hermione said as she gripped her robes with the crest of a lion.

"House loyalty..."

Hermione spat the words as venom...

"Such joke..."

Said the brightest witch with teary eyes...
