"So, what do you expect from me, Zoe."

Aegis asked the floating girl as she grinned at him.

"Nothing much, in truth, you would be my counter guardian! Minus that shit Alaya likes to pull on her counter guardians, so don't worry, I will not want you to massacre entire city, or to kill innocent child, even if I know you wouldn't truly object if it meant to succeed in the mission, no my wishes, as you can call them would by more on stabilizing my presence on these places!"

Zoe said with a grin, but her voice sounded serious, which was strange as a while ago, she was so chipper and peppy.

"Your presence?"

"Yes! You know! It would be like this world Remnant where YOU cut ties to my Domain of Fate! But! Quite different in that sense that these places I would want you to send are being destabilized by others... Worms..."

Zoe said, and as she drawled the world worm through her lips, Aegis could feel a contempt just radiating from her.

"You want to tell me there are other forces that can hurt you?"

"Pha! Hurt me? Naaah, more like they are annoyances as they poke into my work! I mean I don't mind one or two universes going wild! But their actions are being nuisances in such a way that they create a precedent that could seriously destabilize my Domain and make other Fate's being born, and mind you, these who are born from Destabilized Fate Force are very, VERY BAD!"

Zoa said as Aegis nodded and immediately asked what he had lately noticed.

"Like Tzeentch?"

"Where did you hear that fuckers name?!"

Zoa growled as her face touched Aegis one, and her mismatched eyes shone with intensity.

"Lately, cults were formed all around Remnant, worshiping things as Chaos Gods, mind you, I first thought it was your work."

"What?!"

Zoa almost screeched as she for a while disappeared, Aegis waited as he looked at Lade Death who just watched him with a tilted head, but the next second Zoe emerged back with face set in annoyance.

"These meanings... Look, this is just one of the reasons you don't want to cut of Fate from World, any World, and plus with your dabbling into Dimension travel, some things could start to bleed into your own dimension, such as these meany idiots..."

Zoe said as Aegis looked at her, he knew that his Dimensional rift generator made the border between the material and immaterial plane weak, especially there on Remnant, but he didn't know that it counted even to different dimensions.

"Yes, I can you already grasped it, and Yes, this is the result of you cutting of Fate, and opening Dimension portals, still there is nothing you could change it, the line is already crossed, so all you can do is defend yourself, but luckily for you, this Galaxy has its inhabits that would truly resist any WARP intrusions, and no matter how idiotic the Alterans are when I looked I already saw there was more than one battle between Daemons and Ascendet Alterans, which Alterans won with easy as just Champions or Chaos Gods themselves could pose a threat to them..."

Zoe said with a grimace, but then her face set itself back into a grin.

"There, you can see that no matter how BAD im, im the lesser evil! Just like you mister Tyrant Dictator who hides behind the visage of Good King!"

Zoe said with a grin as she looked at Aegis expectantly.

"Firstly, how did you didn't notice Chaos Gods intrusion?"

Aegis asked as he brought the topic back, making Zoe pout.

"Hmph, that's your fault, even if I can see in your future, I must TRY to see, something that wouldn't by the problem if you didn't cut ties with me, but now that you cut them, a lot of things that happen on Remnant, or is consequences of Remnant's action is like a fly for me, I don't notice it until its become annoying."

Zoe said and Aegis nodded, which made a certain amount of sense.

"So? Will you become my agent! I wanna one! Alaya has her's counter guardians! I wanna have an agent too! So I can send you out to stabilize my Domain in other universes!"

"I still have questions, you still didn't explain why in the first place these missions are needed as from what I know is that Fate is everywhere."

"Eh, well, Im, just like there my pale sister Death, I and every Concept are in all universes, just in some we are truly sentient, but in most, we are just a force of nature you can say, just after some time, that could spam trillions of years, or with someone using out Domain's a lot we start to gain consciousness, and as for me? I became self-aware 5000 years ago or so, it is hard to follow years by mortal standards!"

Zoe said with a grin.

"I see, and what, you want me to do in these universes you sent me to do?"

Aegis asked as he didn't have a problem with doing dirty work, but he wanted to know what Zoe had in store for him.

"To Fuck Up Their Plans! Easy peasy, you see? These universes I will send you are being played by other's who like to imitate my power! And so, all I need from you is to go there and do whatever you want, you wanna rule it? Or destroy it? Or just enjoy it? Or take any sexy girl there and go away? I don't care, the moment you arrive there is the moment you fuck up with their plans and I can finally take back over the control of that universe, Fate!"

Zoe said with a grin as she looked at Aegis, knowing she had him.

"And what will you do for me if I take that position of Agent?"

"Hmmm, well, for first, I will not actively send anybody there to annoy you, or fuck with you, I will make Fate, that's my Domain, ignore this world of yours, and any world you will take in future, I will make sure that other Fate's will not try to take anything from you, and I would by your friend! Isn't that the best thing you could have?! ME AS A FRIEND?!"

Zoe screamed in delight as Aegis watched her, Aegis looked at Lady Death who just watched him, and then at Fou who seemed bored, and back at Zoe.

"And I can choose if I want to go on a mission or not?"

"Hm? Yes, yes, well, you see, all I will do is to send coordinates of these universes to you so you can use that Dimensional Rift Generator, BUT! In some cases, you would need to go alone or with one or two people of your pick, as some of these universes are pretty shielded, and without you spearheading there and building some beacon, your Dimensional Rift Generator wouldn't be able to pierce the way to there."

Zoe said and Aegis nodded his head, he understood the logic behind her words, it was one of his plans to lock Remnant from outside influences, but he still wasn't able to build or come up with some device or magical ward, Aegis thought that he should ask his master Scathach if she didn't have any Primordial Rune that could lock Remnant in barrier...

And of course, Aegis didn't believe in Zoe's spiel at all, and there was something missing, Aegis knew that Fate and Destiny, these two Concepts, from all memories Aegis inherited, Fate's and Destinies were as truthful as they themselves liked to be, no, Aegis knew that Zoe, or more clearly Fate had some other objective, after all, why would Fate care for few estranged universes?

As Aegis looked at the grinning Zoe, his eyes looked into hers and saw nothing other than mischief.

"Will me becoming your agent tie Remnant back to you? Back to Fate force?"

"Hmmm? Clever question! And I would wish so! Buuuut! My sister there, or even my niece Gaia wouldn't like that, and even if I could probably strongarm it, I don't want to risk dying, don't look so surprised even I can die, or at least this ME, after all, it happened before, I don't know what previous ME has done, but there, my pale sister killed her, and so I was born! But im different from my previous ME, just like if I died, my future ME would be different from this ME, so I don't wanna die as I, or this ME would truly die, and I doooon't wanna, and this Remnant or your Kingdom isn't worth risking my sister wrath."

Zoe said as she looked at The Death who just tilted her head as she nodded.

"Good."

The Lady Death said and Zoe puffed out her cheeks.

"Hey im not stupid! I know you like these mortal's, why do you like them thought? That is a good question I would like to find, so! Will you become my Agent Aegis?"

Aegis looked at Zoe, who grinned and with a nod of his head.

"Yes."

Aegis said and immediately felt something change.

"PEEEERFFFEECTOO!!!"

Zoe screamed in delight, and Aegis deeply thought how likely he screwed himself, but at the same time, he knew that even annoying Fate would have consequences in the form of having these Goauld's or other annoying things somehow find Remnant star system, it was not beyond Fate to give these mortal's a nudge to go exploration just to find Aegis little heaven, no rejecting Fate's proposition was never in Aegis option, he knew how outranked he was when dealing with Concepts, after all, they are building blocks of the universe, Gods, Wills, these Aegis could take on, but Concept's?

No, from that, Aegis had a long way before even thinking of defying Concepts, and so until that time, Aegis would bide his time, and, if Concept of Luck favors him, he will make them like him, at least as a friend or funny mortal he was...

"Do you even know what you did, Taylor? That was cold-blooded murder."

"B-but he was Lung! A-and I wasn't controlling him!"

Taylor said as she spoke about the incident where the bastard that seemed to materialize killed none other than Dragon of Kyushu, Lung, someone who was able to hold Leviathan by himself!

And he was dead! And from the look of it, the bastard Aegis killed him as some annoying fly, making her look like Vilain to PRT!

"He was your projection Taylor, and as projection, he has done what you wanted him to do."

"NO! HE ISNT PROJECTION! HE IS THAT ANNOYING VOICE IN MY HEAD!"

There Miss Militia stopped as she looked at the teenager before her, as she slowly put on guard.

"Voice Taylor? Do you mean that he speaks to you in your head?"

As Aegis watched the talks, all he thought was how annoying it was to not have a body and deal with it, as all these guilty talks that they used on Taylor to make her listen to them started to get on his nerves, she was Schnee! And Schnee didn't work for anybody other than Schnee herself.

It seemed his plan to make Taylor choose needed to speed up, even if he didn't like it, the fragment of Aegis soul knew what needed to be done, and that was to make the girl see their heroes in their true light and accept the darkness they held in them, after all, nobody was perfect, and especially not these people who called themselves Heroes and were paid for it...

Heroes were those who went against the flow to achieve their dreams and not these men and women who this world seemed so adore...

Heroes, Villains, all of them were same, just one side of the same coin, and Aegis, Aegis refused to let Taylor play by the rules they set, the same rules that stopped them from reaching their dreams...

For Schnee is unbound, unrivaled, and unquestioned.
