A Thousand Worlds

A not so average life ends, and a second one begins. A chance to redeem? Nahhhhhh, a chance to live out dreams would be a more apt description! But as with all, a simple man living out his dreams isn't quite the best of the best, nor the most of entertaining. A chat group (a certainly peculiar one) has been thrown into the mix as well. ==== Find extra chapters at: p@treon.com/stoned_face

Tokyo, Japan,

Aichi Academy,

Samuel POV,

Samuel, sat against a wall humming as he looked at the ceiling, getting kicked out of class would be a stain on his rep but then again, who even cared about something like that? "Shameless." Tsukuyo huffed, slightly shaking her sword. He didn't look apologetic at all for getting them kicked out!

With Mary and Tsukuyo down, there were only three more stamps to go. Namely, Satori Tamaba, Warabi Hanasaka and Rin Onigawara, each exceptionally skilled in their own specific styles of fighting.

Only, they were people too and people, often do things that one might not even expect.

"Warabi and Satori-san, aren't on campus today."

With those words, his plans of just forcefully taking the stamps he needed went down the drain. At the same time, it was slightly irksome that Amou, was possibly purposefully avoiding him, admittedly, he wasn't exactly the most likeable of people but still, he hadn't done anything to be avoided like that.

"Do the headmistress' actions disappoint you?" Tsukuyo asked tilting her head, the woman was an odd apple, even Tsukuyo herself didn't really understand exactly what she was up to most of the time.

"Oh definitely, what would happen if someone actually died?" Samuel replied, his shoulders slightly slumping down, this was the damned 21st century people. What the fuck?

"I'd imagine this place would be shut down." Tsukuyo slightly nodded, it had been getting slightly worrying with how violent her companions were.... not that she was much better.

Samuel glanced at the side from the corner of his eye, "Then there's the stalker problem."

Not one, not two, not even three, he had noticed a total of four, four people keeping an eye on him. "I agree." Tsukuyo nodded, staring off into the distance, if these people thought they were hidden, they had a long way to go. (A/N: She's using herself as the norm instead of an average person.)

Samuel looked thought for a few moments before hopping to his feet, dusting off his clothes, "Well then, I guess I'll go meet an old friend." He started walking away.

"How disappointing, you seem to be looking for trouble yourself." Tsukuyo stood up, following after him shortly. When the teacher kicks you out of class, you aren't exactly supposed to go away.

"....." Samuel simply continued walking, normally, he would definitely be in trouble but he had Tsukuyo with him. They would most definitely conclude that it was by her command that he was moving, rather than her just simply tagging along.

"Oh, it's five now." Samuel pointed out with a small smile, now he had 5 people observing him.

"....." Tsukuyo simply stayed silent noticing the appearance of another stalker, why were there so many eyes when clearly she was the one in charge of him now?

-x-X-x-

In a dimly lit hall-like room with a furnished wooden floor, walls and ceiling, a tall girl with long black hair that reached her knees rested against a stone buddha statue. The statue itself was cracked in numerous places, holes had been blown through several parts of it as well. The wooden pedestal which it rested upon had been destroyed and the floor near the area too had caved in.

Several windows near the ceiling let in sunlight but, apart from this, there was no other source of light there.

"Huh." She turned towards the main doors with a small grin on her face, well this wasn't within expectations yet at the same time it was.

The door was kicked open and in walked a teenager very familiar to herself, Samuel walked in silently, taking a seat on one of the numerous wooden pews in the 'room'. Upon closer inspection, one would notice that this was a place of worship... or at least, used to be one.

He rested his hands on the pew directly in front of him, "So, how've you been?" Samuel asked with a small smile, it was nice to see an old friend again. Though, even he had to admit, she had grown up to be quite the beauty.

"Several hiccups along the way, but nothing much I suppose." She walked down from her initial position, taking a seat right next to him, the distance between them certainly small. "How about you?"

Tsukuyo, initially wanted to follow him inside just in case a fight broke out only to stop in place once Samuel started talking to the 'Empress' casually, remembering the reaction the monster had when she had learnt of his arrival. What exactly was the relation between the two? Her curiosity resulted in her choosing to simply observe the situation.

"Well, you know..." Samuel slightly shrugged, she knew exactly what he was up to the past five years.

"So.... did you drop the soap?"

"....."

"Hahaha." Amou laughed, jokingly punching the pew in front of them, only for her fist to go straight through.

It was apparent that the two had a very peculiar friendship.

"But seriously, did you?"

"I guess?" Samuel rubbed his chin in thought, it had slipped from his grasp a number of times but that didn't mean 'that' had happened to him, he had made sure no one would even dare approach him.

"My condolences." Amou laughed again, lowering her gaze trying to sound apologetic.

"Burn in hell." Samuel grumbled, he had missed these kinds of days in all honesty. She was one of the few actual friends he had here.

"If you're coming with, sure." Amou shrugged, acting natural was proving to be fairly hard.... how was she supposed to know he would grow up to look like this?! He was just cute and harmless back then, alright maybe not harmless but still!

"Something wrong?" Samuel asked, noticing her breathing grow slightly haggard mid conversation.

"That aside, did anyone here give you trouble?" She asked, waving off his question, if they ignored her warning then they would pay with blood for the transgression. Who did they even think she was?

"Not really." Samuel folded his legs, sure he had been attacked but that didn't exactly count as 'giving trouble', they had regretted it after all.

"Good." She nodded folding her arms, it appeared they were smarter than she thought. "Though, I see you've become calmer and less reclusive." Amou pointed out, he had arrived here in the company of someone after all. That meant his solitary nature had dialled down by a fair bit.

"I had a lot of time to think." Samuel shrugged, even if not substantial, he had come a far way from his old self.

"I guess I can do with this version of you too." She too shrugged, this side had a different type of charm.

The one thing that hadn't changed at all was her attitude towards her and everything else, no matter what, aside from his parents, the man refused to back or bow down to certain things.

"I hope you didn't stop practising." Amou slightly grinned standing up, raising the heel of her right foot.

"I did actually." Samuel admitted which made the girl's eyes slightly widen, he did kind of master the Uechi Ryu and with his body, it was impossible for him to 'rust'.

"You know I'll not accept weakness in someone I approve of." Amou voiced out her own thoughts on the new knowledge, swinging her right leg in a reverse arc aiming for his head, the floor under cracking as she did. She had never stopped, aiming for higher heights, wanting to beat him so how could he? "I've gotten stronger."

"I never said I got weaker though." Samuel sighed, holding up his forearm, stopping her leg in place. "That habit of yours is going to bring you trouble." He continued, offering advice to her instead of getting angry about being kicked. No harm no foul right?

Amou pulled back her leg, sitting down again, "Want me to grovel and apologise?" She asked with a smirk, she had been wrong... This was a wall there was no way to climb.

"...." Maybe that sight wouldn't be that bad...

"You just considered- wanna try doing it?" Amou ignored the blade near her neck, as soon as she had attacked Samuel, Tsukuyo too had moved, instantly drawing her katana placing it right next to the girl's neck.

"Maybe." Samuel chuckled, he went along with her joke.... yes, just a joke. "Oh and..." Enough of holding back.

Amou punched Tsukuyo, flinging her through the air until she crashed into the wooden wall, went through it and then crashed outside. She grabbed a hold of his collar and forcefully kissed him, shoving her tongue into his mouth. It was time to mark her property.

Samuel, while initially taken by surprise, was quick to recover and placed a hand around the back of her head pulling her closer to himself... if she thought this was the way to pull one over him then she was very.. very wrong.

Amou learnt that firsthand.

Being taller than her and physically stronger allowed him an advantage when it came to being rough. Pulling her closer with one hand, he trailed the other across her back rather slowly, eventually reaching down to her bottom, and gave it a few firm clutches which surprised the rather wild girl.

A few minutes had passed yet he was still to pull back, Amou was getting breathless and slowly found herself losing all strength, soon enough, his hand was the only thing holding her up. Combined with his skill in the matter, it was no surprise that someone inexperienced had lost rather quickly.

When he finally let go, she stumbled back falling on one of the pews breathlessly, "You're ten years too young to make me back down." Samuel wiped his lip with a small smile, did she think he would back down from something like this? He didn't even need to breathe at this point. (A/N: Uno reverse card lmao)

"You...."

"You went too far." Samuel quickly ran away, after the girl that she had thrown away. Tsukuyo was clearly sick and a punch from Amou would certainly damage the girl. She needed to be rushed to the nurse's office.
