Sparing Sessions

Lyle's pov

Raising up on my hind legs I stared my opponent. I watched as a eight foot tall brown ball of fur with five inch claws. I growled initiating the match. Charging him at half my full speed I tried to tackle him and bring him to the ground but since he was still on his hind legs he batted at my head with his paws but you could tell he was holding back as not to hurt me. He put his weight on me and tried to pin me. I got all four of my legs under him and pushed him off.

Leo's pov

The match had just started and I was getting really into it so when Lyle pushed me off of him when I was close to pinning him I jumped into the air and swung my head trying to get him to play with me and wrestle like bear cubs would. When he realized what I meant he rolled over and chuffed and immediately started chasing me. Knowing we were supposed to be sparring didn't matter at the moment all I wanted to do was play and run with my possible mate. Realizing he almost had me in his grasp I yelped and took off in the opposite direction.

As we ran I realized that everyone else had stopped their matches to watch what we were doing even the coach who looked like he had a smile on his face. When we reached the field across from from the sparring area I raised up on my hind legs and roared playfully as he did the same I put all eight hundred pounds of fluff on him bringing me and him to the ground. I bite his ear softly and shook my head as he he did the same with my neck.

Lyle's pov

At first we were sparing but then it turned into play time. I had never felt happier then at that moment and it was not because I was in highschool and haven't had recess in years but it was because I was having with the person my heart, body, and soul was telling me to love and protect. But then the bell rang.

I growled since that meant we had to go to fourth period which was physics. But then what surprised me was the he had already shifted and was running his hands through my fur so I took me chance and licked his face.

Leo's pov

"Ewww gross bear slobber." I squealed as I wiped my face. I swear he was laughing at me with that big bear grin on his face.

"Come on you can carry me to the locker room." I said as he jumped on his back. I didn't expect for him to take off at full speed towards lockers.

"Whoa boy slow down." I said while petting his head. I slid down off his back so he could shift back.

"So what's your fourth period." he asked. I pulled out my schedule out and handed it to him.

"You have physic with me we can walk together come on." He said grabbing my arm and pulling me out of the locker room and out into the quad towards the eight hundred halls to room 810.

Walking into the class the first thing I noticed was the teacher he had to be at least at 6 feet tall but he had a little weight on him and he had a tie with rubber ducks on it. Sniffing deeply I the scent of earth, mud, and grass telling me that he was a golem.

The teacher name was Ryan Bell and the first thing he said was

"Hi I haven't seen you guys in a year." Lyle laughed while the girl we were walking towards looked like she hated this teacher.

"That's Alexus she is not afraid to tell you what she thinks and she is always hungry she funny as hell and can be smart when she puts her mind to it, I think you'll like her." He told me.
