School day surprise

Lyle's pov

While I walked I listen to music as Adriana walked next to me. Most people listen to rock, rap hip hop, and classical but not me I listen to new orleans bounce music. For you guys who don't know it is a heavy bass call and response type of music. I was listen to messy mya iberville. As I got closer to the school the smell of tons of shifters in one place hit my nose. Wolves, bears, tigers, leopards, jaguars...etc went to this school. As my song ended I had reached my destination the dreaded place called school.

I pulled one of the several doors open and was immediately meet with loud screaming from the middle schoolers and trying to avoid them as they ran to tackle the people they haven't seen in a while since we just got off of winter break. And yes the school I got to is from k-12 so there are a lot of people in this school.

Why y'all gotta act like that y'all most likely saw each other yesterday. I thought as a male bear shifter had his mate in a bear hug as she kissed him all over his face. Then across from them a female lion shifter tackled another screaming BESTFRIEND making me growl lowly.

I decided to find my friends since I didn't get to see them. I wasn't long before I caught the scent of my friend Alexus a black panther and her mate Phillip a blue jaguar  following the scent to the cafeteria hen I got there I was met with the sight of then cuddling and suck each others faces off.

"So when y'all going to move this to the hotel room." I gestured to them and laughed.

"Ha very funny, babe lets go get something to eat I'm hungry." Alexus said as she pushed phillip towards one of the windows to get food.

"Your always hungry, that all you do is eat." I yelled as they walked off. "Yea whateva." Alexus replied. "See you in fourth period."I yelled back waving as I walked away.

Catching the scent of my friend Squishy aka Alex a gorilla shifter I quickly followed it. I screamed when I was quickly hugged and picked into the air by a big strong creature then I heard a grunt like kerchak from tarzan.

"You know you is to big to be grabbing niggas off the ground like that." I scolded him as he put me down and shifted back to human form from his silverback. The good thing about us is that if you shifter your clothes just absorb into your fur, scales, feathers or whatever covers your animals body which means we don't have to carry extra clothes with us when we shift.

"Hahahahah you should have seen your face." He guffawed as he hugged me.

"Yea very funny." I replied as I laugh thinking about how I looked.

"You seen the others." I asked as we walked around.

"Yea Jeisen's in the library. Belen is with Justin their in the quad somewhere. Trinity Jennifer and Iran are all running around the school helping Iran look for Jason. And me and your are looking for Liz." He reported happily as he tried to play off the fact that he tricked me into helping me find his mate.

Time skip to first period.

My first period was P.E. with Jeisen and Adriana. Today the teacher said that we will be sparing in animal form. But first we have a new student to introduce to the class.

"Class this is Leo our new student." The teacher spoke as we got into partners.

"Leo you can work with lyle today." He said pointing to me.

When he reached me from where him and coach first were he stuck out his hand and said "sup the names Leo look like we are going to spare together." He said as he shook my hand feeling tingles shooting up my arms.

"MATE."  My bear roared in my head upon contact.

"Leo looks like it's time, come on lets get into place." I said as we walked the scent of fresh chocolate chip cookies filled my nose.

"Alright since we have a new student here are the rules no serious attacks, no hard biting, the opponent must be pinned against the mat." Coach boomed as he stated the rules. "1.. 2.. 3.. shift." Coach hollered.

Standing across from leo I shifted as my bones crunched and snap reforming and my body grow to eight feet as black fur sprouted all over my body with a deep growl in my place stood an American black bear. Watching my opponent shifted his bones snap and changed his body grew to nine feet tall and brown fur sprouted all over is body then in his place stood a Eurasian brown bear. With roars from both sides we sized each other up.
