Chapter 3.

Zhakari and Nick were still in the car being driven home by the Maire family's private driver Luke who was a medium height but with a slight build man wearing a suit without the coat leaving him with the suit vest and onyx black eyes with combed backwards black hair.The two cousins were talking about a comedy series they both watch one about a guy and his friends who are a tall,caring,emotional,loving,polite and confident lawyer,another a nursery teacher that is very caring but the worst secret keeper,another who is brash,opinionated,manipulative and is a womanizer who likes to play laser tag and the other who he fell in love with at first sight who is tomboyish,hardcore and sarcastic that is a journalist and they always hang out in their favorite bar.

"Tell me dude do you also watch the big bang theory?",Zhakari asked abit excitedly to Nick and he replied"Yeah dude i actually finished all 12 seasons"."Seriously oh man i'm still on season 3",Zhakari said alitttle down and disappointed."Well even though you finished all 9 seasons of HIMYM i'm still on season 7",Nick said casually with a gentle look on his face."Hah t'least you're understanding",Zhakari said as he then picked up his phone and started texting his friends.

Minutes later they had arrived at the Maire household and they got out of the car as the gates were slid open by the Maire family's butler and bodyguard who was a middle aged man with brown combed hair and brown eyes who had a muscular body who was at least 6'5 feet tall.They walked inside and were greeted by Mrs.Maire"Hello,son and my favorite nephew",she said enthusiastically."We are fine",Zhakari and Nick said simultaneously then looked at each other and chuckled.

"Oh i can see that the two of you have gotten more friendly,so how was your first day at school Nick?",Mr.Maire commented and asked Nick."Welllll,it wasn't as bad as i thought and i made some new friends",Nick said calmly."Oh that's great to hear,now you boys go upstairs,take a shower and do your things,dinner will be ready in 4 hours",Mrs.Maire said as the two boys nodded and headed upstairs to shower then after do their own stuff.

When Nick finished taking a shower and changing his clothes,he went on his room's balcony where he could see the nice view of the city with it's fancy skyscrapers,green vegetation,parks with fountains,ferris wheels,foodstalls and even malls with stores and shops.As he admired this city's beauty he stepped on something and when he looked down to pick it up,he found out that it was a scroll.

He picked it up then opened it but couldn't read it though he recognised the language it was written in so he got his laptop and searched"Egyptian hieroglyphics".When the response came he went on images then started to interpret the message in the scroll which he now interpreted to say"Meet me at the Lyka park 12:00am otherwise your family might be in danger and don't tell anyone or else".

'I can't let this happen,all my aunt,uncle and cousin have done is give me a home when i had nowhere else to go so i have to do as they say for the sake of my family and also my curiosity'.Nick then thought and thought then hours later he had gotten an idea of what he's going to do.

Nick went downstairs to have dinner with his aunt,uncle and cousin where they were eating food with italian cuisine which also meant pizza and other delicious treats.He sat down at the table as Mrs.Maire said"Oh how did all of you know that food was already ready",she asked and Mr.Maire answered"Well we could all smell your delicious cooking sweetheart".They then said their prayers for the food then ate.

As Nick was eating a slice of pizza,he had a worried look on his face of which his aunt noticed and she asked"What's wrong Nick,you look quite worried?"and he responded with a fake smile"Oh i'm fine aunt,don't worry about me".The family of four finished the wonderful meal and were all quite stuffed with a satisfied look on their face."Thanks Auntie for the delicious food,that's one of the best meals i've ever had",Nick said gratefully as his aunt flattered from the compliment said"You're welcome Nick and you can always have meals like that anytime you want okay?" and Nick nodded.

After that they said their goodnights to eachother and went to bed but that was for everybody but Nick who was now ready to execute his plan now which was to climb down his balcony after he ties a rope made of his clothes on it all the way to his cousin's room's balcony where he would then jump and roll on the ground to not make sound.

After that he would knowing that Luke would be patrolling the outside of the mansion,plant a remote control squirrel which was a toy he had brought with him from home into the bushes on the other side of the house's entrance and make it move around and around in the bushes and alarming Luke which would make him turn toward it leaving the entrance free then he would run towards the gate and using his kalaripayattu skills completely jump over the gate which when touched would have made a loud alarming sound and shocked him enough to make him unconscious.

After that he then went to the Lyka park wgich Zhakari had showed him while they were still in the car then he ran and ran to it but got tired of running and took a break then ran again and in 20 minutes he had reached there.That's when he saw the deserted park at night with a fountain and a playground for kids to play and a field for picnics.The once deserted park was now having a figure who was a girl about his age with orange hair in two pig ponytails and light green eyes who was wearing blue jeans,a yellow shirt with mickey mouse on it and a leather jacket plus black high heel boots.

"I've been waiting for you Soul ripper,if you don't remember me then my name is Alice Nightshade and i am not your foe but your ally",the girl now known as Alice said."I don't understand,who are you and what do you mean by remember you?",Nick asked her with total confusion."Follow me,we have alot to talk about",Alice said as she led him to the field where they were going to discuss the situation.
