Trouble preparing
As we went around town getting supplies for our trip I realized something through small talk with the shopkeepers. These people came from a different time than my own. I do remember Ian saying that God's wishes affected this world a 100 years ago, but I must've been extremely tired to miss that detail. Somehow after all the craziness yesterday I realized that I didn't even know what I wanted to do in this world. Most protagonists in stories would either have a goal or just want to mess around in another world. I was already content with what I had though. My job wasn't perfect, but it wasn't bad and I was planning to save for an early retirement. If there was one flaw in my plan it's that I didn't have anyone I could've possibly fell in love with considering my old social life, but it wasn't a bad life. It dawned on me that cause if this whole mess my planned life was screwed. As I learned my back against a wall looking exhausted in a minute Nova came over and asked me what's wrong. "I just realized how screwed my life is, even though I got probably enough money to last in this world a while I have no TV, Internet, or the video games to laze around like u usually would. Today was Sunday Goddammit. God could've waited to send this whole world wish fiasco on a Monday. "whatever" I sighed "Let's get our stuff ready were going to need some food, carriage, horses and some camping gear to go check out some other cities and I can ask Ian for a map of possible caves around here." Nova looked surprised towards me."damn you got over that pretty quickly are all humans like that, because you looked pretty depressed there for a moment."
"Yeah I can't do anything about it now anyway, but I can at least give God a peice of my mind next time I see him. Since I'm helping you anyway don't dragons have a stash of gold or riches anyway, you can compensate with that." I explained to Nova
"Extorting your friends for money." Nova letting out a fake gasp. "How low can you be I thought you were going to help me for free, you didn't say anything about a price when you first said you'd help me." As me and Nova kept bantering out of nowhere a large man covered Nova in a giant sack. As I rushed forward at the guy. He went into an alley and around the corner another guy was about to use a giant hammer to slam into me. I stopped it with my hand automatically. As I immediately jumped past him. "Let Nova go" I said. A second later the guy holding the sack dropped he was baffled by what he did. I didn't wait I rushed forward using Lins lightning to incapacitate him. The guy with the giant hammer tried to slam it on me from my behind, but my body already moved forward to shock him. I didn't understand the reason why but I wasn't seeing there stories like the first time I did with Lin. Even the the crazy girl Sara and her lackeys didn't show stories, as I was curious about that it was time to take these guys to Ian. Maybe I might get another bag of jewels for demanding "Compensation."
