The Hiker and the Hero

Wait here Angelica told us. We'll talk about this later for now I have to do my duty. She quickly faces towards the destruction and with one step literally jumps towards the explosion.

Angelica's Pov

As I left the two travelers I went towards the crater left behind by the explosion. As I arrived I saw an old man with a walking cane. He looked weak and brittle, but I could tell he was by far one of the strongest people I've seen. Did you cause this? I yell out. Why do you ask a question you already know the answer to? Of course I am. Do you see anyone else. The old man states with complete confidence. I didn't see any bodies around us so I should assume my brothe telephoned them out of harms way. Seeing as my brother didn't come I should've figured that I needed to be the one to take this fight. I calmly stepped forward and raised my sword above my head in an extremely telegraphed strike.. He smiles straight at me. He knows I'm challenging him to take it head on. He simply puts one foot behind another and puts his head down in front of me as if he's being executed. It's a taunt, one with the same implications that my sword strike had. Take it head on if you dare. AAAAAGH. I roared as I swung my sword straight down a Shockwave burst forward slicing everything in front of me. Except the old man, he simply stood up and turned to the side to dodge the Shockwave, and he had been changing positions, I struck. Right after I swung my sword down I immediately put all my force into my right foot, and I pushed down. propelling myself forward at the old man with my sword being pulled behind me. I immediately appeared as he dodged the Shockwave. I then had all the force in my arms swing my sword again. This time with more force. As soon as I felt my sword connect, I was surprised. The Old man had blocked my sword with his bare hands alone. The Old man looked at me with a warm gaze. I felt more uncomfortable than if he had been talking to me coldly. I haven't introduced myself yet the old man said. I am the Hiker I'm sure you've heard of me haven't you?
