Chapter 48 - The talk with King.

"Welcome to our home, I'm Finn captain of Loki Familia I see you are friends with Ais," Finn said.

"Thanks, I'm Ace, It's an honor to meet you, Yeah she's a good person...You have a nice home I wonder how much this manor has costs," Ace replied while Tiona is comically strap on his back and biting his shoulders while making "Grrr grr sounds."

"It's the pride of our Familia and you are very welcome here anytime. There is also an option to join us and enjoy the privileges of our Familia," Finn smoothly said.

"Ack! Why are you so hard!!!" Tiona shouted as Ace grabs her waist and put her on the ground.

Ace sigh and splash a high potion at Tiona.

Loki Familia is slightly astonished at how caring Ace to Tiona making them believe that he really fancied her. Normal people wouldn't use a potion that way.

"Thanks for the offer but I still want to stay with my Familia...I like giving problems to my god," Ace said.

The unexpected reply left the Familia with a hopeless smile.

After few minutes of introduction, Ace got to know Finn, Tiona, Tione, Riveria, and some other members of the Loki's Familia. Although Gareth, Lefiya, and Bete are missing.

"Well, then I've got something to do, Thank you for your accommodation." Ace said his goodbyes.

After Ace left, Finn suddenly talks, "What do you think about him."

"He is strong but not arrogant. He harbors no evil intention but I can see sadness when he looks at Tiona. Most important is we can't beat him one on one, he is a hidden variable and we can't measure his strength but at least we know now that he is not a treat," Riveria said her thoughts about Ace.

"Captain how come he is so strong even though he is only level 4?" Tione the older sister of Tiona questioned.

"I think his strength lies within his unknown skills, don't you all noticed it? It's all chantless..." Finn seriously said.

"Even I need a long chant to produce that kind of magic barrier," Riveria said as she felt that she loses in terms of barriers to Ace even though she is a High Elf.

"Well If it comes down to fighting we need to rely on Gareth to break that barrier, but for now let's train we have an expedition incoming," Finn commanded.

Riveria and Finn left while Tiona and Tione stare at each other.

"Heehe, It seems my guy beats your guy..." Tiona said with a cheeky smile.

"What are you saying are you crazy? The captain is just being humble that's all, and he just flirt with you one time how come you call him your guy?" Tione rebutted.

"Tch- At least he flirts with me."

Tiona's words appear to hit a nerve because Tione quickly challenges her in sparring without saying anything.

Using detection Ace sense that no one is following him or anyone that can see him.

Gathering the required energy for teleportation Ace quickly crack the space and transfer to the middle floors of the dungeon.

The 13th-17th Floors are known as the Cave Labyrinth. The entrance to the 13th Floor is called the First Line. Starting from the 13th Floor, the walls, ground, and ceiling become made of bedrock.

Starting from floor 15 Ace has been spamming detection to find someone.

Ottar, the only level 7 in Orario is finding a minotaur to train for Bell to overcome his fear of this monster. His goddess Freya tasked him to do this and he will certainly not failed her wishes.

Another minotaur died and turned to dust because its ability did not satisfy what Ottar has been looking for.

"I'm not sure, I doubt this will satisfy her demands, it's not enough..." Ottar said loudly as he killed another Minotaur with his greatsword.

A minotaur entered the scene carrying a stone ax and was ballsy enough to attack Ottar.

"Hmm, It looks like you have some backbone, perfect..." Ottar said as the minotaur used its full power to slashes Ottar with a wide swing.

Ottar caught the ax with one hand then easily crushed it. "Very impressive I think you'll do fine."

The minotaur takes one step back as Ottar throws the sword strap on his back on the ground. "Here use this...Think you can handle that?"

The minotaur grits its teeth before it slowly grabs the great sword.

"Gurahhhh!!!!" The minotaur slashes the sword again and again but Ottar keeps parrying it every time.

Suddenly golden chains appeared on the ground and pulled the minotaur down. A cracked form in space as Ace figure exited from it. A cool entrance is required to intimidate an enemy.

'I'm really am getting strong I used teleportation two times but I still have enough energy to use another,' Ace thought while measuring his energy.

"Golden Chains, white hair, long-sleeve black uniform, you must be Ace the golden chains."

A tick mark visibly shows on Ace's forehead because of the nickname.

"Nice to meet you, king," Ace said with a little bit of bloodlust.

Ottar adventurer's nickname is King that's why Ace called him that.

"What do you want from me?" Ottar questioned, even though Ace leak his killing intent Ottar seems to not mind it and didn't show any negative emotion.

"I just wanted to warn you and your goddess that there is someone from Loki Familia that's important to me, if you harm her I will be your enemy," Ace said without batting an eye.

Ottar gave Ace a stare that seems to penetrate his soul.

"I see, first let me confirm something."

Ottar suddenly vanishes and appears in front of Ace. With his towering figure, Ottar lifts his sword then brought it down with physical power Ace only saw with Muzan.

But Ace is stronger than when he battled Kibutsuji Muzan so even with a surprise attack Ace manage to reinforced his auto-shield.

The sword made contact with Ace's shield and made a deafening sound.

Ottar's great sword crumbles in pieces.

"I see, What's her name?" Ottar throws the handle of the broken great sword.

"Tiona."

"Understood, I will avoid harming her," Ottar said.

Ace knows he just passed Ottar's test of strength.

"You're easy to talk to than I thought," Ace said with a smile.

"As long as the request doesn't contradict our holy goddess there will be no problem, and being your enemy will just trouble our holy goddess."

Ottar answered makes a lot of sense, he just follows her goddess desire, that's all there's to it.

"Fair enough, take care King," Ace walks away as the chain restraining the minotaur slowly vanished.

Ottar takes a second look at Ace and then saw an image of a huge angel towering over him, with one step he will die a worthless death and he can't be useful to Freya if he died.

'He is dangerous..." Ottar thought as he went back in training the minotaur.
