Chapter 35 - Demon Slayer End

Ace woke up but the heavy feeling in his chest is still not fading out. He went down to the inn then wait for Shinobu and Mukago to wake up.

Suddenly a man tried to bump into him, Ace quickly tilt his body so that they won't collide.

The man looked at him with disdain then shouted, "Why are you avoiding me? Do I look like I am carrying a contagious disease!?"

The voice of the man manages to take some attention from the people in the inn.

Ace look at him with an emotionless face then releases his killing intent.

"E-e-rm, Sorry, I-I-I was j-just, Sorry!" The man said as he quickly left the inn.

"Ara ara, This early in the morning and Mas~ter~ is already fighting with someone, such a bad boy!" Shinobu jokingly said.

"G-good morning Ace-sama," Mukago shyly said.

Ace gives them a quick smile then said, "I want to travel as soon as possible after having our meal, is that alright?"

Shinobu seems to catch on quickly that something is bothering Ace so she just ordered a sandwich so they can travel while eating.

'My reserves are full and I already called Aneesa, I am on my top combat form today, and my gift to Aika is already ready and will last for quite some time, but what is this I am feeling,' Ace thought is flying all over the place while walking.

"Umm, Shinobu-san, did something happened to master?" Mukago asked with worried in her voice.

"Let him sort this out his way, after all, we will always by his side if he needs us," Shinobu wisely replied.

Mukago nodded and didn't ask again.

The trio reaches the village's gate as Aneesa landed then kneeled in front of Ace.

"Welcome my lord, I hope your travel is peaceful and unhindered," Aneesa said.

Ace seems not to pay her attention as he keeps spamming detection. Halos that seems like a radar keeps shooting under his feet.

With darkened expression Ace said, "Aneesa, why a familiar figure to me is buried under the ground?"

"My lord, One casualty is made during my fights with demons..." Aneesa didn't finished her sentence as Ace already dash towards the burial place.

There Ace saw a newly dug ground, even if he knows already who was buried there he still want to see with his own eyes.

Ace uses his energy to create a shovel and dug the ground. He saw a small wooden coffin that appears hurriedly made.

Without second thought Ace ripped the coffin open. "No..." Ace hug the corpse with a darkened expression.

[Hahaha, this what happened if you care...If you kill everyone here, right now, I will consider you to be your friend and revive that child for you.]

The creepy voice resounds inside Ace's mind again.

"You might be under of impression that you can order me because I am down, system holder," Ace said emotionlessly.

[Oh? I am really getting weak huh? Fuck this thunder god or whatever. Did you know I used all my points to get out of here, but no... the useless system just reduced it to 100 years. I can't wait 100 more years! Come on rescue me and I will reward you.]

"My lord just needs to get stronger, Guardians, especially a paladin can revive and reconstruct the soul of the mortals," Aneesa said.

"Yes my lord, my special space limbo can contain her body," Aneesa said.

"Do it, and this time...make sure to do it properly," Ace said as Aneesa quickly follow his order.

In limbo, there is nothing, meaning two bodies will not meet no matter how many they are in there. Unless the skill owner wills it.

This skill is perfect to preserve Aika's soul and body.

after that Ace quickly gathered the energy needed to cut the space in his fingertips then...

The face of Nakime, the biwa demon quickly got crush without even a chance to say anything.

Shinobu and Mukago arrived in front of Ace seconds later.

Ace looked at both of them then said, "There are still demons lurking around, but none of them are upper ranks, unfortunately, I can't help anymore to turn them back because I need to go somewhere."

Mukago dashes towards Ace and attempted to hug him but Ace's different aura manages to scare her from proceeding.

"Don't worry at least I would be back every hashira meeting to cure some demons, but I think you would just slay them right?" Ace said.

Shinobu seems to know that this moment will come, she kneels in front of ace then said, "Thank you for helping humanity, Master, we will forever be grateful to you."

Ace approached Mukago and patted her, "When I come back here, I will check your progress...so don't be lazy alright?"

Mukago tears flow as she knows that she can't come with him, She promises to herself that she will be strong.

"Well then goodbye..." Ace slash the space and entered it.

'Time to kill some gods,' Ace thought as Aneesa turned into light and entered his body.

I think I will end the arc now, demons that can reproduce are all dead.

Ace can still visit the demon slayer world, so farewell should not be a big deal.

I will not make Ace go killing spree in the next world(Or will I? Muehehehe).
