Chapter 03 - Traveling

Early in the morning, I packed my things and look at the mirror, I grow in size, my muscle is more define, I am 19 years old right now, my snow-like short hair grows a little bit.

I am still wearing the black haori that Ms. Taekayo gave to me. I left the machete in the house for the future new hunter to use.

My senses already pick up multiple people outside my house, so I know that the villagers are here to bid me farewell.

"Time to leave!" I said as I opened the door and find the village granddaughter crying, behind her are the people in the villages. My senses never fail me.

"Ace-Kun, do you really need to leave?" She asked while balling her eyes out.

I patted her head and gave her a gentle smile, "I need to do something, and it's not like I will leave forever."

"But! Who will give me flowers every morning! I still need white flowers to complete my flower collection!" Aika said while pouting, I know that is not the reason why she doesn't want me to go.

I know it is my own fault that she is quite attached to me, I spoil her every day because well...she is adorable.

"Don't worry I will be back from time to time, I will even bring some gifts, just promise me that you will be a good girl," I said as I gave her a parting hug.

All of the villagers said goodbyes to me, believe me when I said that a lot of them are genuinely sad. You won't believe how meat changes people's hearts. But what I said is true, I will come back here from time to time, I love this simple place.

I walking right now on the dirt road hoping to find anyone that knows where is Mt. Sagiri, as I recall Mt. Sagiri is the place where the former water hashira, Sakonji Urokodaki is staying.

The villagers have no idea, where can I find that location, which I won't lie, kind of disappointing.

I am also hoping to find some powerful demons. if this is Demon Slayer I am quite sure that the demon that I defeated is quite weak.

Hours turned to days as days turn to weeks of constant walking and gathering information until found someone who knows where is Mt. Sagiri.

"Well, If you are going to Mt. Sagiri you are walking the wrong way," The young man said to me.

"What?" I said with a face full of despair, I hope that he is joking.

"Hahahahahha! you should see your face, I'm joking, we like to have fun here," The young man said.

My face is emotionless right now, who jokes like this to people you just met. He noticed my expression and quickly change his attitude and said, "Ahem! sorry for that, It just that there are so few people I can talk to."

"Yeah, sorry for brooding too, I am just tired, Can you point me in the direction of Mt. Sagiri now? I will truly appreciate it," I questioned.

"Yeah, it's about an 8-hour walk to the west, if you are tired you can sleep in my house before continuing your journey," The young man said.

"I'll pass, who knows what pranks you will try when I am sleeping, but thanks for the direction man," I said as I continue my journey

"Hey, I said I'm sorry!" He said but I just wave my arms without looking back.

I almost give up searching for that mountain, right now I am 90 percent sure that I am in demon slayer, even though I still don't have a second demon encounter.

The sun has set before I reach my destination, In fact, I know that I am quite far from reaching the mountain.

While walking, I've noticed that someone is following me, he or she smells like iron.

In the world of demon slayer, there are few ways to kill a demon.

Sunlight, The greatest threat to nearly all Demons is sunlight as it ignites their cells, severely limits their regeneration, and fatally burns them to ashes.

Nichirin Blades: Nichirin Blades are blades made out of Scarlet Crimson Iron Sand and Scarlet Crimson Ore, which absorbed sunlight to such an extent that a decapitation strike with such a weapon can instantly kill a Demon.

Wisteria, The wisteria flower is poisonous to Demons and releases a scent that can repel demons. Wisteria flowers can be used to create deadly and highly potent poison mixtures to easily kill lower-ranked Demons.

Curse of Kibutsuji, Every Demon created through Muzan's blood is also inflicted with a deadly curse which activates if they call out Muzan's name or divulge any information about him.

"Show yourself, The first demon that stalked me had his whole body blown into pieces," I said calmly, but I can't help to leak a little bit of excitement.

The demon boldly showed herself in front of me, She is shorter than me, wearing a colored pink maid outfit, and black long hair.

She really looks like a human if not for the four long arms that are attached to her back, I assume that arms can extend at will.

Without saying anything she quickly dashes to me with hunger in her eyes. She jumped then the four arms at her back extend and attempted to grab me.

Watching her move there is only one thing in my mind, "Weak..."

Splurt!

Her four arms break upon the impact of my invisible shield, With just a month of training I've increased my maximum energy to be able to use my auto-guard. This skill will passively block almost any attack by coating me with an invisible shield.

The demon tried to attack once again but I quickly dash towards her then lightly tap the back of her head, successfully knocking her out.

Now I am not a sadist but I need to know if my heal can turn back the demons into humans.

Time for an experiment, The mountain can wait, seeing that demons really exist in this world made my mind, I am in demon slayer.
