Günter's Strength! Michael In Trouble?

Dean was curious to see how Michael would do against his opponent, he was a German that James has specifically approached thanks to his superpowers but he was not unknown.

Günter's family relocated to the United States after it was discovered that his ancestry line played a major role in Hitler's regime and still maintained his ideals.

He was the first, after skipping generations, to awaken his superpowers and his parents put him to good use.

Günter was a trained killer and assassin, he could use his powers to a degree that even well-known superheroes had difficulty mimicking.

Günter was a tall, muscular man with a shaved head and a thick, bushy beard. He had a scar above his left eyebrow and a tattoo of a skull on his right bicep. Günter is always dressed in black tactical gear and combat boots, and he carries an arsenal of weapons at all times. He was twenty-one years old.

He looked intimidating and the way he carried himself, one could only guess what kind of power he had considering the weapons he carried with him.

Michael didn't utter a word, neither did Günter.

Both men had one objective and that was to destroy the person standing in front of them right now.

The starting signal was given and Günter equipped two daggers and charged right at Michael.

Michael was surprised he chose such a direct mode of combat considering he had seen his powers.

Michael had no plans of finding out what happened as he raised his hand in the direction of the charging man, he was within Michael's range.

Michael clenched his fist but nothing happened.

That was strange, Michael thought but he didn't have much time to figure out what was going on.

Maybe it was similar to the power displayed in the illusion that Dean had put him in.

A power that affected his telekinesis only when applied to the target and not external factors?

But what if it wasn't and this miscalculation cost him his life? Either way, this enemy was a physical type and that would explain why he equipped his daggers.

Michael clenched his fist and took a fighting stance, most people watching didn't understand that his powers weren't working but rather Michael decided to face him in this manner because he looked down on Günter, this was the furthest thing from the truth.

Günter was within striking distance of Michael, Michael was full of openings because he wasn't exactly skilled in hand-to-hand but he had his fair share of street fighting.

Michael threw a right jab, but Günter easily side-stepped it before lunging his dagger right towards Michael's chest.

Michael barely caught his wrist to halt the momentum of the strike, but there was a problem, the dagger in his other hand was aimed at the side of his head and once again, Michael barely made it in time.

This was a battle of strength and Michael had no intentions of bulging, as both of them tried to overpower one another with sheer physical strength.

Günter's face lacked any form of emotion or distress, it was almost as if he wasn't using his full strength because Michael was fighting for his life at this very moment.

The masses that Michael was holding soon disappeared and what followed was the dagger grazing his chest and side of his face respectively.

Michael managed to dodge them at the very last second, but not without damage.

Whoever this man was, he was good and Michael was about to learn first-hand just how important experience was. He didn't know how Günter escaped his grasp but he knew it had to be his superpower.

Blood became visible beneath Michael's shirt and Elizabeth was worried despite him having tried to kill her mere moments ago.

"You're good…" Michael complimented him and he was met with the homing dagger of Günter, Günter threw it with pinpoint accuracy towards Michael's forehead, Michael didn't even have time to use his powers as he was caught off-guard and opted to dodge it by ducking, it lightly grazed him once again.

Michael looked in Günter's direction but he was nowhere to be seen, only for an increasingly large shadow from above to give away his position.

Michael's awkward position meant he couldn't dodge it in time, but luckily, he now had something to use to defend himself and that was the thrown knife that Günter had used earlier.

"A little closer…" Michael muttered to himself and just when Günter was about to bury his dagger at the top of Michael's skull, the dagger that he had thrown previously came flying.

Michael waited until Günter thought he was certain of a hit before he did this but he made a crucial mistake.

Michael had no understanding of his opponent's power and he was about to learn first-hand why Günter was one of the Most Wanted men in Germany.

The knife seemingly impaled Günter's head, there was no way he could dodge it mid-air, the attack coming from his blindspot was a bonus.

But then it happened, the knife passed through Günter but this inadvertently saved Michael's life because Günter had to phase through Michael as well.

Michael used this opportunity to gain some distance from him but what the fuck was this?

How in the world was he supposed to fight him?

Michael picked up on a peculiar thing and that was how he needed to turn his entire body intangible and just parts of his body.

Michael had gotten three cuts already, this man was studying his muscles and attacking the moment he saw that Michael's muscles had relaxed.

Tee watched on, he knew that this man's power was a perfect counter to Michael's ability but this didn't only hold for him but Michael as well.

Right now, experience was the determining factor and Michael lacked it, he also noted that Michael seemed to not have that "hunger" in his eyes he had seen numerous times, could this be why it was difficult for Michael to even land a hit on him?
